If you have any feedback for the author, here is her email - dillongeorgieluvr@yahoo.comAuthors Note: Hello everybody :welcome here is another one of my fanfictions. This one I think might turn out to be a novel but I'm not sure. Please read and feedback is always appreciated!! Let me know what you guys think...Happy reading! Prologue ~*~PC High~*~ It was a Monday morning and normally Georgie Jones would be dragging her feet, dreading another day at school, but today was different. Georgie felt like she was literally walking in a dream. The past weekend she had finally come to the realization of how much she cared for her best friend, Dillon Quartermaine. When she thought about how she was before, she can’t even begin to imagine why she found herself so fixated on Lucas Spencer, her adopted cousin, when Dillon was standing in front of her the entire time. She had be so blinded by what she thought she felt for Lucas and when Dillon did finally come out and said he cared about her, she didn’t even give it a second thought. Now that she thinks back, she realizes that there were numerous times when Dillon expressed his feelings for her without even coming out and saying the words, “I like you, Georgie”. There was that time when they were hanging out at Kelly’s and he told her that she was worth 10 of her sister. At the time, she didn’t think anything of his meaning behind the words because where was her mind at that time? With Lucas, it was always with Lucas. She was surprised Dillon stuck around her as long as he did, considering all she seemed to talk about when she was with him, was Lucas. But the past weekend she finally came to realize that Dillon was truly the one for her and the one she wanted to be with. It was probably one of the best weekends of her entire life and she was as happy as can be that she just couldn’t seem to wipe the smile off her face. Just the thought of Dillon or even the mention of his name made her lips curl into a smile and her stomach to flutter with butterflies. Just then out of nowhere she heard it, the voice that made her heart melt.

Chapter 1
“Hey you” Dillon said as he stood behind Georgie who was holding onto a book and leaning against her locker staring off into the distance, daydreaming about one thing…him.
Georgie turned and looked and saw Dillon and, like always, her mouth curled into a smile and those butterflies started up in her stomach.
“Hey” Georgie said
Dillon smiled back at Georgie wanting so much to take her in his arms and kiss her right there in the hallway, not caring who saw them. He was so much in love with this girl right in front of him he didn’t care if the whole world knew it. In fact, he wanted the whole world to know it. But it was still very early in their relationship, actually the beginning, and he wasn’t sure if she would be okay with all the public attention, so he held himself back.
“How are you doing today?” Dillon asked
“I’m doing okay” Georgie said thinking about how much she wanted Dillon to take her in his arms and kiss her right there in the hallway.
There was an awkward silence, neither one of them knowing how to react to the new status in their relationship.
After a couple minutes, Dillon finally spoke, “So uh, what are you doing after school today?”
Georgie was so lost in his eyes that she didn’t even hear what he said and just continued to stare at him lovingly.
“Georgie?” Dillon asked when she didn’t respond.
“Huh?” Georgie said snapping out of her trance.
“You sure you’re okay?” Dillon asked concerned
“Yes, I’m fine” Georgie said, “It’s just…”
“What?” Dillon asked taking a step towards her and getting a wave of excitement flowing through him being so close to her.
When Dillon stepped closer to her, Georgie’s stomach started to flutter even more.
“Um…” Georgie started looking from his chest which was covered in a tight black shirt and traveling her eyes up to his eyes and then down to his lips.
“What is it Georgie?” Dillon asked touching a hand to her face
Georgie closed her eyes at the touch of Dillon’s hand on her face. After a few minutes, Georgie finally spoke up, “Dillon, will you do me a favor?”
“Anything” Dillon responded
“Will you just quit talking and…” Georgie said once again looking from his eyes to his lips, “…and just kiss me already.” Dillon smiled at her comment and got a tiny look of shock on his face, which Georgie noticed. “Or maybe I shouldn’t have asked you to do that. I mean what if you don’t want to kiss me? What if what happened this weekend was a mistake to you? What if you have finally realized that you want to be with someone else? I’m sorry I…” Georgie was cut off by Dillon’s lips on hers.
He kissed her softly, yet passionately, and like always Georgie’s knees started to get very weak at the touch of his lips on hers. Dillon then slowly pulled back and looked at Georgie, who looked back at him with a flushed face. Dillon smiled at her.
“Just so you know…” Dillon started, “Having you in my life is everything I’ve ever wanted since I came to this town. What happened this weekend was a dream come true for me. You have no idea how much hearing you tell me you cared about me just as much as I cared about you meant to me.” He said pushing a strand of hair behind Georgie’s ear, “I care about you more than I think I’ve ever cared for anyone. You make me feel…you make me feel like I matter. You make me feel alive, Georgie. You have awakened something inside of me that I think has been dead for a long time, a place I thought I’d never get to again.”
By this time Georgie had tears in her eyes listening to the man she loved tell her how much she meant to him. For Georgie, things like this never happened. To her it seemed like things like this only happened to her sister, Maxie. She had never come across a guy that cared about her half as much as Dillon cared about her.
Georgie smiled as she reached a hand up to touch the side of Dillon's’ face as she said, “I’m glad I could help. And I’m happy to be with you too”
Dillon just smiled and then took her hand that was on his face and kissed the palm of it and turned to look her in the eyes before lowering his lips down towards her, ever so slowly. She followed his lead and their lips met in the middle as they kissed softly as the kiss slowly grew more passionate, Georgie’s knees got weak again and she dropped her book, she was holding, to the floor and slowly brought her arms around his neck and kissed him back. Dillon gently wrapped his arms around her tiny waist, pulling her closer to him.
Just then the bell rang and they reluctantly pulled apart, with their foreheads touching.
“I guess we better get to class.” Georgie said
“Yeah, I guess so” Dillon said looking into Georgie’s eyes and not being able to control himself as he leaned down and gave her another soft kiss on the lips.
He pulled back and looked down at Georgie, “See you after school?”
“Definitely” Georgie said with a smile
Dillon smiled and gave her one more quick kiss before leaving to head to class. Georgie was now literally floating. She was surprised she got herself to move. She bent down to pick up her book that she dropped. As she picked it up, she could feel the memory of Dillon’s lips on hers and she brought her hand to her lips and couldn’t help but smile. She then reached into her locker and pulled out a notebook and a pencil and shut her locker and locked it before heading off to class, thinking one thing…she couldn’t wait til the end of school!

Chapter 2
Georgie was so anxious to get to the end of the day that the day was going by extra slow. She would sit in class and she found herself not even paying attention to what was going on in class because all she could think about was Dillon and how much she wanted to see him again. Georgie was sitting in her AP English class anxiously watching the clock for class to end. Just then the bell rang.
“Thank you” Georgie said to herself as she started packing up her things and getting up and heading out of the classroom. She headed over to her locker and when she opened her locker door, something fell out of her locker and onto the ground and Georgie noticed and bent down to pick it up. Georgie started to open it when a voice caused her to stop.
“Hey Georgie” the voice said
Georgie turned around and came face to face with Lucas.
“Oh, hey Lucas” Georgie said really casually.
“How are you doing today?” Lucas said making conversation.
“Oh, I’m fine.” Georgie said really wanting to read the piece of paper in her hand but didn’t want to in front of Lucas.
“What are you doing after school today?” Lucas asked
“After school?” Georgie asked
“Yeah” Lucas said
“Why?” Georgie asked curiously
“Well because I thought maybe we could go out to a movie or something.” Lucas said
“Actually I’m sorry I can’t” Georgie said
“Why not?” Lucas asked
“I just can’t ok” Georgie said glancing down at the letter still in her hands and then back up at Lucas.
“What is that?” Lucas asked noticing the piece of paper in her hands.
“Nothing” Georgie said
“Okay” Lucas said, “So tell me why you won’t go to the movies with me”
“Because I just can’t that’s why” Georgie said, “I already have plans”
“With who?” Lucas asked
Georgie just looked at him
“It’s Dillon isn’t it?” Lucas asked
“So what if it was?” Georgie said folding her arms across her chest
“Well I’d have to remind you that that guy is no good.” Lucas said
“How can you say that?” Georgie asked, “You don’t even know him”
“I just know ok?” Lucas said
“No, it’s not okay Lucas” Georgie said, “Dillon is my boyfriend and I will hang out with him whenever I want”
“Wait. Boyfriend?” Lucas asked catching that word
Georgie just realized what she said and couldn’t help but smile, “Yeah. Boyfriend.”
“Since when?” Lucas asked sounding what appeared to be a little jealous
“Since this weekend when I realized that he was the one that I’m meant to be with.” Georgie said
“Oh come on Georgie!” Lucas said, “You can even trust a word this guy says”
Georgie looked at Lucas shocked, “God this sounds so familiar.”
“What are you talking about?”
“You sound like you’re jealous.” Georgie said with a smile, “You sound the same way you did when Maxie told you that she liked Kyle. Now I think I’m finally getting the picture here, Lucas. You don’t want me or my sister to be with anyone that isn’t you.”
“What?” Lucas asked
“Yeah.” Georgie said, “You were totally into Maxie and then she wanted to hook up with Kyle and that meant that she didn’t look at you anymore as possible date material, and then you move onto to me. You kiss me and then later on tell me that it didn’t mean anything and that you don’t care about me as anything more than a friend and basically broke my heart into a thousand pieces and when I find comfort in Dillon’s arms you suddenly want me again? Well I’m sorry Lucas, I’ve moved on and I’m more happier now than I have been for the past couple weeks and I’m not going to let you ruin that for me.”
“But Georgie…” Lucas started
“Good-bye Lucas” Georgie said
Lucas looked at her one last time before walking away.
“God that felt good” Georgie thought to herself after Lucas left.
Just then she glanced down at her hand and remembered the paper in her hand and she lifted it up and opened the letter and started to read it.
“Dear Georgie, It’s me, Dillon. I couldn’t help but leave you this letter to let you know that you are on my mind constantly. In fact, you’re on my mind so much that I’m beginning to wonder if I’m going to pass any of my classes this semester because all I can think about is being with you. All I want is to be with you. Every minute with you is worth more than the last. I just wanted you to know that. See you after school! Love, Dillon”
Georgie couldn’t help but smile as she read this and she found tears coming to her eyes. She looked up and held the piece of paper to her chest and hugged it thinking about seriously ditching the rest of the day just to be with Dillon.
Just then the next bell rang and caused Georgie to jump.
“Oh crap” Georgie said to herself
“So much for that ditching idea” Georgie thought to herself as she reached into her locker grabbed her next class’s books and shut and locked her locker before running off to her next class.

Chapter 3
The rest of day continued to drag on. When the end of the day finally came, Georgie was heading out of her last class and once again came face to face with Lucas.
“Lucas leave me alone” Georgie said walking right past him
“No, not until you hear what I have to say”
“I don’t need to hear anything you have to say. I’m with Dillon now, you have to accept it.”
“I don’t want to accept it Georgie” Lucas said stopping in front of Georgie making her stop as well, “I can’t lose you Georgie”
“Lucas, I already told you that you won’t”
Lucas smiled and reached out and took one of her hands in his and started leaning down to kiss her. He was stopped by Georgie pulling her hand out of his and putting it against his chest to stop him from coming any closer, "As friends, Lucas just like you wanted it to be”
“But I want more” Lucas finally admitted.
“You have no idea how much that would’ve made me happy a couple of weeks ago, but it’s different now. Lucas, like you’ve always told me…we’re friends…and you don’t care for me any more than friends as you have told me on numerous occasions.” She said starting to walk around him and towards her locker.
“Georgie wait…” Lucas said turning around and catching up to her as they reached the doorway to the hallway that led to Georgie’s locker.
“Lucas stop it.” Georgie said turning to Lucas and then turning back towards the hallway and catching a glimpse of Dillon standing at her locker waiting for her. He glanced over and noticed her with Lucas and his face dropped a little.
Georgie smiled at him and then walked away from Lucas without even saying bye and headed over to Dillon.
“Georgie…” Lucas started when he saw her walking away from him and continued to watch her walk to Dillon
Dillon saw Georgie approach not knowing what to expect. As Georgie approached Dillon, she had no words, she just walked up to him and brought an arm around his neck and pulled his lips down to hers, meeting in a soft yet passionate kiss that took Dillon by surprise just like their first kiss at Kelly’s diner.
At first Dillon didn’t know what to do and then he smiled against her lips relaxing as he took his arms and wrapped them around her waist and kissed her back.
Lucas watched this entire scene and he finally realized how much Georgie did care for Dillon and kicked himself for realizing that he was too late. She had found love with Dillon. Lucas let out a heavy sigh and walked away back down the hallway him and Georgie had just walked down.
Georgie and Dillon pulled back breathless and looked at each other.
“What was that for?” Dillon asked
“Do I have to have a reason?”
“Well, no” Dillon said, “I mean it’s just…”
“Beautiful.” Georgie said cutting him off
“What?” Dillon asked confused
Georgie reached into her book and pulled out the letter he left for her and held it up. Dillon’s saw the letter in her hand and remembered he left that for her.
“This was beautiful.” Georgie said.
“I meant every single word.” Dillon said, “Georgie, I can’t stop thinking about you. You’re on my mind 24/7. I seriously think my schoolwork is going to suffer because I just can’t get you off my mind”
“Well good.” Georgie said with a smile, “because I don’t want to be off your mind. And all I have to say is, it’s the same for me too. I can’t stop thinking about you either. Just the thought of you makes me smile. I see you and my stomach just flutters. You make me happy, Dillon.”
Dillon just smiled.
“So what did Lucas want?” Dillon said asking the inevitable question that she knew was running through his mind.
“Me” Georgie said
Dillon’s face dropped.
Georgie noticed this and said, “I told him no, Dillon and that he was too late.”
“You did?” Dillon said
“Of course I did. I want to be with you not Lucas.”
Dillon just smiled and then leaned down and hugged her.
After they pulled back they both smiled at each other and just stared at each other with love in their eyes.
After a couple minutes, Georgie spoke up breaking the silence. “So what is the plan for today?” She said stepping towards her locker and opening it as Dillon stood behind her.
“Well we could go see a movie…” Dillon started as he watched Georgie open her locker door. “Or we can spend the day together walking hand-in-hand through Port Charles and just enjoy each other’s company.” He said wrapping his arms around her waist from behind and resting his chin on her shoulder as he said this.
Georgie smiled as she leaned back against him wrapping her arms around his arms and pulling them tighter around her waist.
“I really don’t care what we do as long as you’re with me.” Georgie said
“There’s no place I’d rather be.” Dillon said as he kissed Georgie’s cheek.

Chapter 4
“So you ready to go?” Dillon said
“Oh uh, yeah” Georgie said pulling out of Dillon’s arms and reaching into her locker to grab a few things and shutting her locker door and turning back to him, “I’m all yours” she said with a smile.
“Just the way I like it” Dillon said with a smile.
“Lead the way” Georgie said
Dillon smiled and held his hand out and Georgie took it in hers. They started walking towards the exit.
Dillon and Georgie spent the entire day together walking together and enjoying each other’s company. They ended up on the docks and were looking out on the water.
“Today has been perfect.” Georgie said turning towards Dillon and smiling at him.
“More than perfect” Dillon said pulling her to him.
Georgie smiled at him as he started leaning down to kiss her. Their lips touched and they kissed softly.
“Excuse me” a voice interrupted them
Both Georgie and Dillon glanced in the direction of the voice.
“You know the docks are not a very safe place a night” the voice continued
“Who’s there?” Dillon asked stepping in front of Georgie shielding her when he saw the shadow of the figure who was talking
The person stepped into the light. It was a tall dark-haired man with a goatee and walked with a positive stride right towards the couple.
Georgie moved to the side of Dillon and studied the guy as he walked towards them. When the moonlight hit the guy’s face she got a feeling that she knew this guy but couldn’t remember if she did or not.
“What do you want?” Dillon asked the man
Georgie continued to look at the guy trying to remember the face. It was right on the tip of her tongue but she couldn’t remember.
“Miss Jones” the man said.
Dillon glanced from the guy to Georgie who’s face was expressionless as she continued to try to figure out where she’d seen him before.
“I see you don’t remember me” the man said, “That’s okay because you probably would think you were seeing ghosts if you knew who I was.”
“I’m sorry I have no idea what you’re talking about” Georgie said trying to put on a front while she continued to try to remember the identity of the man.
“I think you do” the man said, “Your mother is Felicia Scorpio-Jones is she not?”
“Yeah but…” Georgie trailed off when her face fell and she finally realized who the man was. It was Alcazar. But wait a minute, wasn’t Alcazar murdered? “Wait you’re…”
“Dead?” the man finished
“Wait a minute what’s going on here” Dillon said confused and concerned at the same time. The way this guy was talking and looking at Georgie just wasn’t right. He got this bad feeling in his stomach.
“You’re dead” Georgie said, “Then how can you…”
“You know, my brother was a very smart man. Even up until the minute of his untimely death.”
“Brother?” Georgie said to herself, “Dillon, come on let’s go” Georgie said grabbing onto his arm.
“Miss Scorpio, no need to leave” Alcazar said, “One suggestion though, you better be careful out here…you never know what could happen when your back is turned” and with that he turned and left.
Dillon watched as the man walked away and then when he was out of sight he turned to Georgie who had a pale look on her face.
“Georgie, are you okay?”
“No” Georgie said

Chapter 5
“Georgie who was that?” Dillon asked very concerned
“No, it can’t be…” Georgie said
“What?”
“No, he’s dead” Georgie said, “He’s dead”
“Georgie?” Dillon asked grabbing her arm.
“Don’t touch me!” Georgie said.
Dillon was surprised by Georgie’s tone.
“Georgie, it’s me.” Dillon said quietly walking up to her and putting a hand on her face.
Georgie looked up into the bright blue eyes that she knew and all of a sudden fear broke out.
“Dillon we have to get out of here…NOW!” Georgie said
“Georgie, tell me what’s going on.” Dillon said trying to calm her down
“That man…” Georgie started but stopped as she looked at him and then turned her back to him and looked away from him.
“Georgie what about that man?” Dillon asked taking a step towards her
“That man is supposed to be dead, Dillon” Georgie said, “Alexis Davis killed him. He can’t be back. He just can’t”
“Who was he?” Dillon asked
Georgie stood there with her back to him for a few seconds before turning back around to face him and looking at him.
“Alcazar” Georgie said

Chapter 6
“Who’s Alcazar?” Dillon asked confused
“He was the man who kidnapped me and Maxie to get to my mom” Georgie said
“He kidnapped you?” Dillon asked his eyes getting wide.
“Yes.” Georgie said
“Oh my God.” Dillon said, “Why?”
“I’m not really sure.” Georgie said, “It was like one minute, me, Maxie and Lucas were outside of Kelly’s and the next Maxie and I were dragged out of there by two guys and taken to a place in order to get leverage over my mom’s boyfriend at the time, Roy Dilucca or something”
“Whoa” Dillon said, “You had to be so scared”
“I have never been more scared in my entire life.” Georgie said, “Just the sight of that man makes my stomach drop to the floor in fear.”
“But didn’t you say that the guy was murdered?” Dillon asked
“Yeah he was” Georgie said
“Then who was that guy?” Dillon asked
“I have no clue. I guess Alcazar had a brother” Georgie said, “Dillon, this is not good news”
“Listen, I’m not going to let anything happen to you” Dillon said
“You can’t stop it if it does.” Georgie said, “My God Dillon what are we going to do?” Georgie said scared.
“Everything is going to be okay.” Dillon said trying to calm her down.
“Jason Morgan” Georgie said
“Jason?” Dillon asked when she mentioned his cousin’s name
“Jason Morgan and Sonny Corinthos would know what to do” Georgie said
“Wait Sonny Corinthos?” Dillon asked recognizing the name, “Isn’t he the big mob boss in this town?”
“Yeah” Georgie said, “And Jason works for him. We should go tell them what’s going on. I wonder if they even know that Alcazar had a brother and that he’s back”
“Georgie, we should probably stay out of this.” Dillon said, “I don’t want you getting involved with stuff like this.”
“But Dillon we have to do something” Georgie said, “You heard what he said, he said that it’s not safe. What if he comes after me again!” Georgie said getting upset.
“He won’t.” Dillon said, “There is no way in hell I’ll let him come anywhere near you” he said walking closer to her
“Dillon, we have to warn Maxie” Georgie said starting to turn to leave but her arm was caught by Dillon.
“Hey, hey come here” Dillon said pulling her into his arms.
Georgie wrapped her arms around Dillon’s neck and hugged him tightly not wanting to let go.
“Everything is going to be okay. I promise you” Dillon said hugging her back just as tight, but deep down scared to death of what could happen.

Chapter 7
About a week had passed since Georgie and Dillon’s encounter with Alcazar’s brother on the docks. Georgie couldn’t help but think about anything else. Just the sight of a man that resembled Alcazar scared her to death. If it wasn’t for Dillon being right by her side she didn’t know what she would do. Dillon did his best to try to make her feel safe and tried over and over to reassure her that he wouldn’t let anything bad happen to her.
Georgie was sitting on the couch watching TV. The house was very quiet and still and normally she would enjoy it, but this time the silence to her was very eerie. She kept hearing Alcazar’s voice in her head. ‘You could never know what could happen when your back is turned’. Georgie pulled the blanket she was in closer to her body trying to get the thoughts out of her head. But it didn’t work so she grabbed the remote to the TV and tried flipping through the stations, again didn’t work. She did know one thing that would work for sure. She reached on the table next to the couch and grabbed the cordless phone off the charger and laid back on the couch as she dialed Dillon’s number.
“Quartermaine residence” Reginald answered.
“Yes, may I please speak to Dillon?” Georgie asked
“One moment please” Reginald said
Moments later she heard the voice that had the ability to calm all of her fears.
“Hello?” Dillon said
“Hey” Georgie said
“Hey you” Dillon said smiling when he heard Georgie’s voice
“What are you doing?” Georgie asked
“Oh I was just studying for one of my finals that I have next week” Dillon said, “What about you?”
There was an awkward silence.
“Georgie?” Dillon asked, “Georgie, are you there?”
“Oh yeah” Georgie said, “Sorry”
”Is everything okay?” Dillon asked sensing something wasn’t right.
“Actually I was just wondering if you could come over” Georgie said
“What’s wrong?” Dillon asked getting more concerned, “Are you all right?”
“No, no I’m fine” Georgie said sensing the concern in his voice, “Really. I just want to see you. You make all the bad thoughts in my head go away and I could really use that right now”
“All right I’ll be over in like 10 minutes” Dillon said
“Okay” Georgie said smiling
“See you when I get there” Dillon said smiling
“Okay” Georgie said, “Bye”
“Bye” Dillon said before hanging up the phone.
Georgie hung up the phone and set it on the coffee table across from the couch as she snuggled up in the blanket, waiting for Dillon to get there. As she laid there she felt her eyes get heavy and the next thing she knew everything went black.
After what seemed like forever, Georgie heard a knock on the door and she stood up to go answer it throwing back the blanket and walking over to the door. She reached the door and opened it hoping to see Dillon on the other side and instead she saw Alcazar standing there.
“Ms Jones” Alcazar said
Georgie’s fear started to build up inside of her. Just when she was trying to forget about this man, there he was.
“I’m hear to deliver a message regarding Mr. Quartermaine.” Alcazar said
“Dillon?” Georgie managed to say, “What did you do to Dillon?”
“I beg your pardon, Ms Jones" Alcazar said
“Where is Dillon!” Georgie said getting upset.
Just then Georgie saw him, Dillon appeared behind Alcazar gagged with a scarf in his mouth to prevent him from screaming and next to him were two muscle guys who had their guns drawn and aimed at Dillon ready to fire.
“What is this?” Georgie said her voice full of fear when she saw Dillon.
“Just what it looks like” Alcazar said as he motioned for his muscle guys to bring Dillon next to him.
The two guys did so and Georgie and Dillon were face to face. Georgie stared at Dillon with such fear in her eyes.
“What is this all about?” Georgie said, “Why do you have Dillon tied up and guns pointed at him?”
“Well because if you don’t give me what I want you get to watch your little boyfriend die”
Georgie looked heart literally dropped to her feet.
“What do you want?” Georgie asked scared to death
Just then as Alcazar spoke Georgie could not hear a word he was saying. It was like his voice was muted or something. It didn’t come back until she heard him say the phrase, “And if you don’t do that then your little boyfriend here is going to die”
“I didn’t hear what you said.” Georgie said
“Come on Ms Jones, don’t insult me like that.” Alcazar said, “Do you have what I want or not?”
“I don’t know!!” Georgie said
Just then Alcazar snapped his fingers and the guys with the guys next to Dillon pulled the triggers.
“DILLON!!!” Georgie screamed.

Chapter 8
“No, no” Georgie said when she heard the gunshots go off, “DILLON!!” she cried with tears pouring out of her eyes. “No!” Georgie said, “Dillon!!”
Dillon drove up the Scorpio’s driveway and got out after turning the car off and shutting the door behind him as he headed towards the door.
“DILLON!!” he heard Georgie scream from inside the house and all of a sudden his heart dropped to his feet and he started to run for the door and didn’t even bother to knock and just threw the door opened and ran inside.
“Georgie?” Dillon said not seeing her at first
“No!” he heard Georgie say again causing him to get even more worried.
He kept walking forward and then he caught a glimpse of Georgie lying on the couch tossing and turning and had tears pouring out of her eyes.
“Oh my God” Dillon said when he saw her. He took a few long steps around the couch and sat down next to her on the couch, “Georgie…” he said trying to wake her.
“No, no” Georgie said continuing to toss and turn
“Georgie…” Dillon said
“Dillon!” Georgie said flying up and right into Dillon’s arms.
Dillon wrapped his arms around her and pulled her closer as she held onto him for dear life. Sobs overtook her body that she was literally shaking from her crying.
“Shh…it’s okay” Dillon said closing his eyes as he held her, “I’m right here. It’s okay”
After a couple minutes Georgie slowly pulled back and wiped the tears that fell from her eyes.
“Hey.” Dillon said, “What happened?”
Georgie slowly looked up at him and she felt like a huge weight had been lifted off of her shoulders seeing him sit right in front of her, alive and well.
“I’m so glad you’re here.” Georgie said still crying as she reached out and touched his face.
“I’m sorry I couldn’t get here sooner.” Dillon said touching his hand to hers that was on his face, “Can you tell me what happened? Did you have a bad dream?”
“Mmm-hmm” Georgie said nodding her head, “Dillon it was awful” she said tears continuing to pour out.
“Hey, calm down it’s okay.” He said putting a hand on the side of her face and wiping away some tears from her face, “I’m right here. I’m not going anywhere okay?”
Georgie nodded
“You want to tell me what happened?”
Georgie looked into his eyes and then said, “Alcazar”
Dillon closed his eyes. “Dammit” he thought to himself.
“What about Alcazar?” Dillon asked opening his eyes and trying to remain calm
“He killed you.” Georgie said looking down at her hands, “right in front of me” she said looking back up into his eyes.
“Oh man” Dillon said moving a hand through his spikey blonde hair.
“I was lying here on the couch waiting for you to get here and the next thing I knew I woke up to a knock at the door. I thought it was you so I got up and walked over to the door and he was standing on the other side.” Georgie said relieving the nightmare and causing her to close her eyes as she told it. “Then he told me that he had a message from you…and…and I got the worst feeling in my stomach…and I asked him what he did to you, and he played dumb and wouldn’t tell me.” She said starting to open her eyes before continuing on, “then out of nowhere you appeared behind him gagged with two men next to you with guns ready to fire.”
“Oh Georgie…” Dillon said reaching to put a hand on her face but was stopped when she stood up and walked a couple steps towards the window and looked out as she finished telling her nightmare. As she began again Dillon slowly stood up and started to slowly walk behind her.
“Then I asked him what he was doing with you and he told me that if I didn’t give him what he wanted that he would kill you”
“What did he want?” Dillon asked
“That’s just it…” Georgie said turning around to face him, “I don’t know. When he was telling me it was like I went deaf or his voice was muted or something because I didn’t hear a word” she said getting upset again and tears threatening to fall from her already blood-shot eyes.
“Okay, okay” Dillon said stepping forward and taking her into his arms and hugging her, “don’t say anymore…it’s okay. I’m here and everything is fine”
“Dillon I can’t ever lose you” Georgie said hugging Dillon really tight, “Not ever”
“You never will Georgie…I promise you” Dillon said pulling back and looking at her in the eyes, “I’m not going anywhere. I’m exactly where I want to be.” He said pushing a strand of hair behind her ear and then wiping away some tears that managed to fall onto her face, “For the first time in my life…I feel like I belong. When we’re together…it feels right…it feels perfect. Georgie, you are everything I’ve ever wanted, everything I’ve ever wished for.”
As Georgie listened to this, she felt her heart swell up with even more love for the man that stood right in front of her. He had become everything to her. She couldn’t even imagine how she managed to get through the days without him in her life. He made her feel special. He made her feel like she was more than just a book worm or an unpopular girl that all the guys at school made fun of. He treated her like she was the only thing that mattered. And the more she got to know this man the more she felt the love build up. In fact, it had built up so much that she thought she would eventually burst and now that he was standing right in front of her telling her how much she meant to him she finally came to the realization that he was it for her. Now granted she hadn’t dated a lot of guys, well as a matter of fact, she dated none but she didn’t care. She knew that Dillon was different and she took a chance on experiencing something new…without ever realizing that it could turn into the greatest thing she’d ever experienced.
“Dillon…that was beautiful” Georgie said smiling for the first time since he’d been there
“No, you’re beautiful” Dillon said smiling back at her, “God you are so beautiful” he said putting a hand back on the side of her face and running his thumb over her cheek as he said it.
“Dillon…you are the best thing that has ever happened to me. I mean ever since I basically threw myself into your arms and kissed you…”
“Best day of my life…” Dillon said interrupting her
Georgie smiled at his comment but continued on, “…ever since that day, you were always on my mind. Now I know it didn’t seem that way, the way I was always talking about Lucas, but deep inside you never left my mind. I mean you have been there for me through all my ups and downs with Lucas. I now know how much it must’ve hurt you to hear me go on and on about Lucas and I’m sorry.” She said and Dillon just shook his head hinting at her to forget about it. “And even after the whole prom debacle went down and I basically blamed you for everything…” she said walking around him and standing with her back towards him wincing in pain at the thought of all the bad things she said to him. “And even after what I said to you, you never gave up on me. You found me at Kelly’s a couple days after prom and I told you, you ruined my life…”
Dillon stood there closing his eyes as he relived that moment not wanting to remember it.
“But the truth is Dillon…” she said turning back around to face him, “You didn’t ruin my life…you did just the opposite.”
“I did?” Dillon asked confused
“Yeah you did. You made my life better because you made me realize that I was trying to get something that I would never get and made me realize what was right in front of me the entire time. And the way I acted was completely uncalled for. I accused you of not being my friend and that if you really cared about me you wouldn’t have gone along with Maxie to set me up…and you know what you said?”
“Of course I do, I said 'I really do care about you'” Dillon said remembering
“Yeah.” Georgie said moving closer to him, “And at the time I didn’t even acknowledge that. But the more I sat there and thought about it and the more I realized that Lucas was never going to see me the way I wanted and after all you’ve done for me…I found myself daydreaming about you Dillon”
“You did?” Dillon asked completely surprised.
“Yeah” Georgie said, “I found myself thinking about you constantly. And I realized that when you weren’t around that I felt like a piece of me was missing and that I wasn’t completely whole unless you were with me. And that was when I realized that I…”
“You what?” Dillon asked
Georgie took Dillon’s hand in his and then looked up into those eyes that she had gotten to know so well. “ That I…I love you, Dillon”

Chapter 9
Dillon smiled at what Georgie just said but didn’t say anything, which made Georgie wonder.
“I know we just started dating like a week ago and this seems really fast but I can’t deny it anymore, Dillon. Every time we're together, I just find myself falling even faster. You make me the happiest that I ever thought I could be. I understand if you don’t love me right now, but I just had to tell you how I felt and how much you mean to me.”
“Georgie.” Dillon said stopping her.
“Yeah?” Georgie asked looking up into those blue eyes she’d gotten to know so well and loved.
Dillon smiled down at her before taking a step forward and taking her face in his hands and lowering his lips down to hers and kissing her softly on the lips. Georgie responded right away by running her hands up his chest as he slowly deepened the kiss.
After they pulled away Georgie’s eyes were still closed and she felt completely breathless. Dillon noticed this and couldn’t help but smile. He put a hand on her face and it caused her to open her eyes and look up at him.
“Can I tell you a secret?” Dillon whispered
“What?” Georgie managed to say her eyes never leaving his.
Dillon leaned down and brought his mouth right next to her ear and whispered, “I love you too”
Georgie couldn’t help but smile. Her heart fluttered after hearing Dillon admit he felt the same towards her. Dillon slowly pulled back to see a smiling Georgie looking back up at him. “I think I always have from the minute that I met you at Kelly’s. You have slowly become my reason for living, Georgie. You are the reason I get up every morning, in a mansion where nobody even knows I exist, and start another day. The thought of seeing you makes me face each day. You are the last thing I see before I go to bed and the first thing I see when I wake up in the morning.”
Georgie just smiled before stepping forward and wrapping her arms around Dillon’s neck and hugging him. Dillon happily wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her closer to him.
“Hey” Dillon said pulling back after a while, “How about we watch a movie?”
Georgie just smiled as she nodded her head. Dillon took her hand and led her to the couch.
“What do you want to watch?” Dillon asked
“You choose” Georgie said sitting down on the couch
“Okay, let’s see what you have” Dillon said walking over to the tape collection by the TV. He came across a movie that made him smile when he saw it and knew it would be perfect. “Hey, I got it” he said picking up a tape taking the tape out of the box and putting the tape in the VCR.
“Which one?” Georgie asked
“You’ll see.” Dillon said grabbing the remote and moving back over to the couch and sitting next to Georgie. He hit the play button and set the remote on the coffee table across from the couch before leaning back and lifting his arm on the back of the couch inviting Georgie to lean against him, which she happily did. Once Georgie was comfortable, Dillon put his arm around her shoulder pulling her closer.
The movie started up and the tile of the movie appeared on the screen, “To Have And Have Not”. This caused Georgie to glance up at Dillon and smile.
“This was the very first movie we watched together.” Georgie said smiling
“Yeah it was” Dillon said smiling down at her.
Georgie smiled up at him, “This was the movie that had that amazing kiss in it wasn’t it?” Georgie asked looking back at the TV
“Yeah” Dillon said
“Yeah I remember…that kiss was amazing” Georgie said remembering the kiss, “I hope one day I get kissed like that” she said
Dillon got an idea that caused a smile to come to his face.
“Hey Georgie?” Dillon asked
‘Yeah?” She said looking up at him.
“Come here” he said softly under his breath
“What?” Georgie asked not hearing what he said
“Come here” He repeated a little louder giving her a seductive look.
Georgie smiled and slowly leaned in and met Dillon in the middle where their lips met in a kiss. Slow at first but slowly turning more passionate. Not too hard but just enough to express how much love they had for each other. As Georgie felt Dillon’s lips on hers she felt like she was spinning. This kiss was by far the best she’d ever felt. Minutes later they finally pulled back and looked at each other, both breathless.
“Wow” was all Georgie could say.
“Yeah wow” Dillon said his head spinning from the kiss they just shared. Dillon moved a strand of hair behind Georgie’s ear smiling down at her and said, “I love you”
Georgie smiled back up at him and said, “I love you, too” before snuggling even closer to him and turning her attention back to the movie.
