Chapter 10
Two hours had passed and both Georgie and Dillon had fallen asleep in each other’s arms. Dillon woke up when he felt Georgie start to stir against him.
“No, no” Georgie said in her sleep
Dillon slowly woke up and noticed Georgie was having another nightmare
“No, stop!” Georgie said
“Georgie…” Dillon said trying to wake her up
“Please stop!” Georgie continued to say
“Georgie wake up” Dillon said trying to find a way to wake her.
“NO!” Georgie said snapping awake, “Dillon?” she said not moving from her position.
“I’m right here” Dillon said taking his hand and putting it under her chin and making her look up at him, “I’m right here everything is fine”
Georgie let out a heavy sigh. “God Dillon why is this happening to me!” she said sitting up.
“Well seeing Alcazar’s brother has probably stirred up some old feelings hidden deep inside you that you’ve been trying to hide.” Dilllon said touching the side of her face and running his thumb along her cheek as he talked soothingly to her. “But just try to remember that it’s only a dream”
“I know” Georgie said taking Dillon’s hand that was on her face in her hand and lacing her fingers with his, “but I just can’t seem to shake them and each time they get worse”
“What happened this time?” Dillon asked concerned
“Well we were on the docks…” Georgie said looking up at Dillon, “Happier than ever…” she said smiling at him and he smiled back and then she continued, “…and then the next thing I know we were pulled apart and then two guys held onto you as two guys held onto me. Then…then they started kicking you and beating you right in front of me” Georgie said, “Dillon, what if these dreams are trying to tell me something? What if they are trying to tell me that something bad is going to happen?”
“Georgie, it was just a dream” Dillon said trying to calm her down
“I know Dillon but I can’t help but get the feeling that all this can just end in a blink of an eye.”
“What?” Dillon asked
“Us” Georgie said.
“Why would we end? We’re just beginning?” Dillon asked
“I don’t know” Georgie said getting up off the couch and walking over to the TV and turning off the VCR and then the TV, “Things like this do NOT happen to me. Maxie is usually the person who gets the guys and has more experience with this kind of stuff.”
“You’re doing pretty well yourself you know” Dillon said
“Yeah but for how long?” Georgie asked her back still facing him, “What’s to stop something from happening to pull you away from me? What’s to stop someone from trying to ruin what we are creating here?”
“Georgie, don’t think like that” Dillon said standing up.
“I can’t help it Dillon” Georgie said turning around, “You don’t understand. Things like you don’t happen to me. I’m just waiting for something to happen to take it all away from me.”
“Well please don’t think like that” Dillon said taking her hand in his, “Georgie, I love you so much. Nothing and I mean NOTHING is going to keep me from loving you. You are the first girl I’ve ever met that I have ever really truly cared about. From the minute I met you at Kelly’s when you kissed me, I fell in love with you.”
By this point Georgie had tears in her eyes as she listened to the man she loved declare his love for her to her. She realized that she shouldn’t focus on what bad things could happen but rather all the good times they had to look forward to and all the memories they were going to share. She just smiled and took a step forward and wrapped her arms around his neck and hugged him, “I love you too” she whispered in his ear
Dillon hugged her back just as tight thanking the good Lord for giving him Georgie. For making his life better now that she was in it. In Dillon’s mind he could see himself possibly marrying Georgie one day and having a family with her. That’s how much he loved this girl. To him she was his life and he was going to hold onto it and her for as long as he was able to.
~*~
Two weeks had passed and Georgie’s nightmares had stopped and her and Dillon were closer than ever. It was the last day of school and both Georgie and Dillon had finished their last finals and were both at their lockers getting ready to enjoy the best summer of their lives.
Dillon quickly finished clearing out his locker so he could get to Georgie and start their summer together. He grabbed the last of what was in his locker and shoved it in his bookbag and headed down the hall to find Georgie.
Meanwhile, Georgie was doing the same thing. She couldn’t wait to start her first summer with a boyfriend. She thought of all the things they could do and how much fun they were going to have and it just made her smile. She glanced over and her now almost bare locker door and saw a picture of Dillon that she had taped up there and she smiled as she took it off her door and stared at it in her hands. She was so lost in her thoughts that she didn’t even hear Dillon walk up behind her.
Dillon approached Georgie from behind, “Hey you” he said kissing her neck.
Georgie jumped at the sound of Dillon’s voice and turned around and found him holding a red rose up in front him.
“Aww Dillon” she said taking the rose
“For my lady” Dillon said handing her the rose.
“You are too sweet” Georgie said giving him a kiss on the cheek, only when she started to pull back Dillon grabbed her face and gave her a soft kiss on the lips.
Georgie’s heart just continued to melt at the touch of Dillon’s lips on hers. She loved this man so much that she couldn’t imagine being with anyone else ever again.
They pulled back and smiled at each other.
“You ready to go?” Dillon asked
“Yeah I think so.” Georgie said turning back to her locker and finishing putting the last of the things in her locker in her bag.
“Great because I have a great day planned for us” Dillon said leaning against the locker next to hers.
“You do?” Georgie asked with her eyebrows raised looking at him
“It’s the first day of our summer vacation together. Of course I have a plan.” Dillon said smiling back.
“What are we doing?” Georgie asked
“Now you know better than to ask that…it’s a surprise” Dillon said
“And we all know how much I love surprises” Georgie said with a smile
“Yes, we do” Dillon said
“Well, then let’s blow this pop stand” Georgie said shutting her now empty locker door.
Dillon stood up and held out his hand and she took it and they walked out of the high school together both ready to spend a great day together.

Chapter 11
Dillon and Georgie continued to walk out of the school both happy that the summer was starting.
“So…” Georgie said as they were walking
“So what?” Dillon asked looking at her.
“Come on Dillon give me a little hint on what we’re doing” Georgie said stopping in front of him and giving him puppy eyes.
“That’s not going to work” Dillon said laughing a little.
“Please?” Georgie said sticking her bottom lip out causing her to pout.
“Well…” Dillon said considering it because he was finding her look hard to resist and was about to give in when his cell phone rang.
As Dillon reached into his pocket for the phone Georgie reached forward and put her hand on top of his hand which was already sort of in his pocket, “Don’t even think about it” she said
“Look…” Dillon said leaning forward giving her a kiss causing her hand to release from the top of his which allowed him to pull the phone from his pocket without her stopping.
Once he had the phone out of his pocket, Georgie pulled back, “Oh you little sneak! Using your lips like that!”
“Oh come on you love it and you know it.” Dillon said with a smile
“Yeah whatever” Georgie said crossing her arms across her chest.
I’ll just be a minute. Promise” Dillon said smiling at her.
“Yeah, yeah” Georgie said
Dillon answered his phone, “Hello? Yeah this is.” He said glancing at Georgie and then put a finger up signaling to her that he’d be right back.
After Dillon finished his conversation, he hung up the phone and turned and saw Lucas walking up to Georgie and he had a mixture of feelings stirring up inside him. But he stayed where he was and just observed them.
“Hey Georgie” Lucas said walking up to Georgie
“Oh hey Lucas” Georgie said turning and seeing him
“What’s going on?”
“Not much. I’m just waiting for Dillon” Georgie said
“Why?”
“Lucas don’t start.” Georgie said rolling her eyes.
“I’m sorry.” Lucas said, “I just don’t get what you see in him that’s all”
“Well you don’t have to get it” Georgie said, “What you need to get is that Dillon makes me happy and that we are together and nothing is going to change that. Not even you”
“Ouch” Lucas said taking a little offense to what she just said
“I’m sorry Lucas. I didn’t mean for it to come out like that. It’s just that Dillon and I are together and I would just like it if you could just respect that.”
“You really like him huh?” Lucas said finally realizing what she was trying to tell him
Georgie glanced over at her shoulder at Dillon who was pretending to still be on the phone, “Yeah I really like him” she said turning back to face Lucas.
Lucas glanced from Dillon back to Georgie, “Well ok then.”
“Ok what?” Georgie said
“Ok, I’ll stop questioning why you two are together and I’ll try and respect your relationship” Lucas said
Georgie smiled at Lucas and said, “Thank you” before giving him a quick hug.
As she hugged him Dillon walked up to them.
“Hey” Dillon said more to Georgie than Lucas
Georgie pulled back from Lucas’ arms and turned to face Dillon, “Hey”
“Lucas” Dillon said as he looked at Lucas
“Hey Dillon.” Lucas said, “Listen…”
“Stop right there” Dillon said cutting him off, “I’m not even in the mood for your, ‘you’re-not-good-enough-for-Georgie’ speeches so…”
“Whoa” Lucas said cutting him off, “What I was going to say was I’m sorry.”
“Sorry?” Dillon asked confused as he looked from Georgie, who was smiling at him, back to Lucas, “For what?
“For saying you weren’t good enough for Georgie. I mean she obviously cares a whole lot about you and you obviously care a lot for her too. Listen, I know I’ve been on your case ever since you came to town and I’ve been really rude and I apologize. It’s just when I walked into Kelly’s and saw you and Georgie kissing, it just hit a weird nerve and I just assumed that you were someone who was out to just use Georgie or something so I jumped to the wrong conclusion and I’m sorry.”
Dillon had a surprised look on his face, “Wow. Thanks Lucas.”
“Yeah” Lucas said holding out his hand to Dillon.
Dillon shook his hand and they decided to let the past stay in the past and try to get along for Georgie’s sake.
“You guys have fun. I gotta get home” Lucas said
“All right. We will. See you later Lucas” Georgie said
“Bye guys” Lucas said before walking away.
Once Lucas was gone, Georgie turned and faced Dillon who was more confused than ever.
“Where in the world did that come from?” Dillon asked still shocked at what happened.
“Where did what come from?” Georgie asked playing dumb
“You know very well what…what did you say to him?”
“Just the usual…” Georgie said
“Which was?” Dillon asked
“Well just that I really like you and…” Georgie said wrapping her arms around his shoulders, “nothing he or anyone else tried to do was going to change that” she said giving him a kiss on the lips.
Dillon pulled back and said, “All that made him change his view on me? I don’t think so, you had to have said something else.”
“Well as a matter of fact I did” Georgie said, “I also told him that I would like it if he would try and respect our relationship and he agreed to”
“So no more annoying Lucas moments?” Dillon asked
Georgie laughed, “Yeah I guess not.”
“Cool” Dillon said.
“Yeah.” Georgie said, ‘So now it’s your turn”
“My turn for what?”
“To confess.” Georgie said
“Confess what?” Dillon asked
“You know very well what” Georgie said, “Was that call about my surprise?”
“You can be very nosy can’t you?” Dillon said
“Yep?” Georgie said with a smile, “Got a problem with that?”
“No.” Dillon said
“Good so tell me” Georgie said bringing her arms down from around his neck
“Don’t think so.” Dillon said grabbing one of her hands, “Let’s go. The faster we get going the faster we get to your surprise”
Georgie knew she wasn’t going to be able to pry it out of Dillon so she just decided to quit trying to get it out of him and just go with the flow and let him lead. She had a feeling insider her, though, that today was going to be a good day.

Chapter 12
Georgie and Dillon were walking hand in hand together down the street. After a while Georgie realized that they were taking the usual route home that they always took after school.
”Dillon?” Georgie asked
“Hmm?” Dillon asked
“I thought we were going to do something?” Georgie asked confused
“We are.” Dillon said
“Then why are we on our usual route to my house?” Georgie asked
“Because we need to stop there first.” Dillon asked
“Why?” Georgie asked
“Will you stop with the questions and just trust me, huh?” Dillon said looking at her and smiling.
“I’m sorry. You know how I am with surprises. I can’t wait” Georgie said
“Yeah, no kidding” Dillon said
“Oh ha ha” Georgie said hitting Dillon’s shoulder
“Oh come on, I’m just kidding” Dillon said
“Yeah, yeah” Georgie said as they reached her house.
“Looks like Mac’s not home” Dillon said not seeing his car in the driveway.
“No, Mac is working late tonight” Georgie said as they walked up the front steps and put her key in the door.
“Well that’s good.” Dillon said
“Why’s that good?” Georgie asked opening the door and walking in.
“Because now I don’t have to hide from him” Dillon said closing the door behind him.
“Oh true” Georgie said as she put her bookbag on the chair in the living room and then turned to face Dillon, “Ok. So now what?”
“Now…” Dillon said putting his bookbag on the chair by the front door, “You follow me.” He said holding out his hand.
Georgie happily took it and Dillon headed up the stairs and to her room. They stopped in front of her door and Dillon signaled for her to go ahead and open the door. When she did she walked inside and noticed a box with a big red bow sitting on top of her bed. She looked at the box and then back at Dillon.
“Go ahead. Open it” Dillon said smiling as he followed her inside her room
Georgie walked over to the box and pulled the bow off the box and took the lid off and inside she found a light blue dress inside. Georgie’s mouth dropped and she looked from the dress over to Dillon who had a smile on his face.
“Oh my God!” Georgie said turning back to the dress in the box and reaching for the straps and pulling it out of the box and walking over to the mirror and holding it up against her as he looked at her reflection in the mirror.
“You like it?” Dillon asked
“Are you kidding? I love it!” Georgie said turning around to face Dillon, “How did you know my size?”
“I have my ways” Dillon said
“You talked to Maxie didn’t you?” Georgie asked
“Maybe” Dillon said
“You know what would go great with this?” Georgie asked
“What?” Dillon asked
“These blue strappy sandals I saw at the store yesterday”
“I believe there’s something you’re missing over there” Dillon said pointing back to the box on her bed.
“I am?” Georgie said walking back over to the bed and gently laying the dress on it. Georgie then noticed another small box hiding behind the big box. The box was about the size of a shoe box. Georgie picked up the box and she turned to Dillon, “You didn’t.”
“Better open it and find out” Dillon said
Georgie smiled and turned and opened the box to find the shoes that she was just talking about.
“Oh my God!” Georgie said, “This is so sweet. You’re sweet you know that?” She said walking over to Dillon
“Thank you.” Dillon said
“Wait a minute.” Georgie said, “Where’d you get the money to pay for all this?”
“Don’t worry about that”
“Dillon…”
“Don’t worry about it.”
“Fine.” Georgie said, “So what’s all this for anyway?”
“Well Miss Jones, I am taking you on our very first OFFICIAL date. That is if you’re free?”
Georgie couldn’t help but smile, “For you, of course I am.” She said wrapping her arms around his neck and hugging him. When she pulled back, she looked into his eyes and said, “I love you.”
“I love you too” was all Dillon said, “Go ahead and get ready and I’ll be back to pick you up.”
“Where are you going?” Georgie asked
“Well I’m not exactly dressed for our first date, so I’m going to go home, take a shower and change and then I’ll come back and pick you up.”
“Ok.” Georgie said with a smile
“See you later” Dillon said with a smile before kissing her and heading out of her room.
Georgie couldn’t seem to wipe the smile from her face. She turned back to face her bed which had the dress and shoes lying on it. She walked over to the bed and once again picked up her dress and just looked at it. It was a light blue sundress with a princess cut waist with flowers on it. The dress was casual but also a little dressy.
Georgie placed the dress on the bed once again and then walked over to her closet and grabbed her robe and got ready to jump in the shower. About 10 minutes later, Georgie jumped out of the shower and started to get ready. She put the dress on and it fit perfectly. Then she went on to fix her hair and put her makeup and was finally ready. Just then there was a knock at the door.
“Dillon?” Georgie asked
“No, it’s me” Maxie said walking into her room. “Wow” she said after seeing Georgie, “Where are you going?”
“Me and Dillon are going out on our first date” Georgie said with a smile
“Well, you’re lucky Mac’s working late tonight huh?” Maxie said
“Yeah” Georgie said
Just then there was a knock at the front door.
“Oh that must be Dillon.” Georgie said taking one last look in the mirror, “Maxie can you please let him in.”
“Sure” Maxie said leaving the room, but then stopping and turning back around, “Hey Georgie?”
“Yeah?” Georgie said looking at her
“You look amazing” Maxie said, “Dillon’s gonna die”
“Thank you Maxie” Georgie said with a smile.
Maxie then headed down the stairs and went to the front door. She opened it to find Dillon dressed very nice. He had a pair of black pants on and a nice navy button down shirt on.
“Hey Dillon” Maxie said
“Hey Maxie, is Georgie ready?” Dillon asked
“Yeah she’ll be right down, come in.” Maxie said, stepping to the side.
Dillon walked inside and into the living room.
“Georgie, Dillon’s here!” Maxie called
“I’ll be right down” Georgie said from upstairs.
“I’m just gonna go…” Maxie said hinting to the stairs.
“Ok” Dillon said walking around the living room after Maxie left and just looking at the pictures on the walls and stuff. As many times as he had been in Georgie’s house, he’s never really had a chance to look around, mostly because Mac would kick him out when he saw him. The pictures on the mantel varied from young pictures of Georgie, with Maxie and this other woman, who he assumed was her mom, to recent school pictures of Maxie and Georgie. He got so lost in his thoughts and looking at the pictures that he didn’t even hear Georgie walk down the stairs.
“Ahem” Georgie said causing Dillon to turn and look
Dillon’s eyes grew wide and Georgie noticed and smiled as she turned around to give him the full picture.
“You like?” Georgie asked
”I like” Dillon said walking over to her, “I like very much. It looks even better than I pictured it. You look incredible”
“Thank you” Georgie said blushing a little.
“You ready?” Dillon asked offering her his arm.
“Yes I am” Georgie said gently placing her arm around his.
“Great. Let’s go” Dillon said leading her out of the house.
“Where exactly?” Georgie said out of force of habit.
“To the time of your life” Dillon said opening the door and ushering Georgie out of the house, thinking that he was going to make this the best night of Georgie’s life if it was the last thing he did.

Chapter 13
Dillon shut the door behind him and then turned and faced Georgie who had a big smile on her face and was clearly anxious to see what he had planned for their official first date. Georgie had never actually been on a date with a boy before was anxious to experience this and she couldn’t think of anyone else she would rather experience this moment with than Dillon.
Dillon stood there staring at this beautiful girl standing before him. Dillon has had other girlfriends in his life but none of them even came close to comparing to Georgie. Georgie was literally EVERYTHING he ever wanted in a girl. She was smart, funny, beautiful, and had literally captured his heart from the very first minute that she kissed him by the pay phone at Kelly’s. He wanted to give her everything she could ever ask for. Making Georgie happy made him feel like the luckiest man on the face of the earth. Her smile would just light up a room and she lit up every minute of his life from the moment he met her. She was captivating to say the least and he was bound and determined to make this a night that she would never ever forget.
“So…” Georgie said smiling at Dillon
“So.” Dillon said walking over to her and wrapping his arms around her waist as he smiled down at her.
Georgie just stared up into Dillon’s eyes and she couldn’t take the suspense any more. “Come on Dillon, one little hint?”
“Nope sorry” Dillon said smiling down at her.
“Are you sure there’s nothing I can do to change your mind?” Georgie said as she wrapped her arms around Dillon’s neck and raised up on her tiptoes to be eye level with Dillon and her lips were inches away from his lips as she spoke this.
“Georgie…” Dillon’s voice said softly.
“Hmm?” Georgie said gazing into his eyes
“Tell me you love me” Dillon said gazing back into her eyes as he pulled her closer to him.
Georgie pulled back and just looked at him.
“Just tell me…” Dillon said moving his lips closer to hers
“I love you” Georgie said
Dillon just smiled before he lowered his lips until they were inches from hers, “Then trust me” he said his voice low before capturing her lower lips between his and kissing her softly, causing Georgie’s knees to go weak.
“Mmm…” Georgie moaned as Dillon continued to kiss her
Minutes later, they pulled apart and Georgie had a glassy look in her eyes and her face was all flushed.
“I do” was all Georgie could manage to say.
“Then follow me, my love” Dillon said before stepping back and holding his hand out for hers.
Georgie, her head still spinning from the kiss, reached out and placed her hand in his as he laced his fingers with hers, before leading her off into the moonlit night.
After about 10 minutes of walking under the moonlit sky, hand in hand, they arrived at their destination.
“Here we are” Dillon said
Georgie looked at where they were and got a confused look on her face as she looked over at Dillon.
“What?” Dillon asked noticing her voice.
“Dillon, we’re at the Quartermaine mansion.” Georgie said.
“Yes, we are” Dillon said
“But I thought we were going out on a date?” Georgie said more confused than ever.
“This is.” Dillon said smiling
“But…” Georgie started only to be cut off by Dillon’s lips on hers. After they pulled apart she gazed into his eyes, and said, “What was that for?”
“Trust me” was all Dillon said, “Then follow me”
“Ok” was all Georgie said as she followed Dillon, expecting to cut through the gate to enter the mansion, only to find Dillon going around the gate to the back of the mansion.
Right before they reached what she thought was the backyard, Dillon stopped right in front of her, blocking her view of what was ahead of her.
“Close your eyes” Dillon instructed.
Georgie smiled and then did so as Dillon took her hand and led her to the spot he had set up just for that night. When they reached it he said, “Keep them closed.”
“I am” Georgie responded with her eyes still shut tight.
Dillon made his way behind Georgie and wrapped his arms around her waist from behind and pulling her back to press against his chest as he started to kiss her neck, “You ready?”
“Oh…Dillon!” Georgie moaned when she felt Dillon’s lips on her neck, “Mmm-hmm” was all she could manage to get out.
“Ok then…” Dillon said still holding her against him and resting his chin on her shoulder, “Open your eyes.”
Georgie did so and the sight she saw before her made her mouth drop and her eyes tear a little. In front of her was a gazebo lit up by little twinkle lights. A little further out in the grass there laid a blanket on the grass with an ice bucket with a bottle of sparkling cider sitting in it next to the blanket. A little further out in the grass there laid a big huge movie screen and a projector set up a few feet behind the blanket.
“Oh my…” Georgie said as Dillon smiled at her reaction.
“You like it?” Dillon asked straightening up behind her but still not letting go of her.
“Dillon, this is amazing” Georgie said smiling as she stepped forward out of Dillon’s arms as she walked slowly towards the lighted gazebo as if she were walking in a dream. She got to the bottom of the steps leading up to the gazebo and stopped and turned around to see Dillon standing there looking as handsome as ever, not having moved from where she just left him. “I love it. But you didn’t have to do all this” she said glancing at all the wonderful surroundings around her.”
“I know I didn’t have too,” Dillon said causing Georgie to look at him as he started walking towards her slowly, his eyes never leaving hers, “but every part of me wanted to. I wanted to make this the best night of your life, Georgie.” Dillon said as he stopping right in front of her.
“Oh wow” Georgie said smiling so hard she thought her face might crack into a million pieces.
“Shall we?” Dillon said offering his arm to her.
Georgie was speechless, as she happily wrapped her arm around his, as he escorted her up the steps leading into the gazebo. He stopped her in the middle of the gazebo.
“Stay right here, don’t move” Dillon said as he walked over to the boombox he had resting on the edge of the gazebo as he found a slow song playing on the radio and turned back to Georgie walking over to her and offering her his hand. “May I have this dance?”
Georgie smiled, “Yes, you may. All night long”
Dillon smiled as he took a couple steps forward and enveloped Georgie in his arms and they started to sway slowly to the music that softly played.
When I’m lost In the rain In your eyes I know I’ll find the light to light my way When I’m scared Losing ground When my world is going crazy You can turn it all around And when I’m down You’re there pushing me to the top. You’re always there giving me all you got
For a shield from the storm For a friend For a love to keep me safe and arm I turn to you For a strength to be strong For the will to carry on For everything you do I turn to you
Georgie looked up smiling at Dillon who just smiled back as he pulled her closer and lowered her head and pulled her closer to him as his lips nipped at her neck as they danced causing Georgie to pull Dillon closer to her.
When I lose the will to win I just reach of you and I can reach the sky again I can do anything Cause your love is so amazing Cause your love is right as real And when I need a friend You’re always on my side Giving me faith to get me through the night
For a shield from the storm For a friend For a love to keep me safe and arm I turn to you For a strength to be strong For the will to carry on For everything you do I turn to you
For the arms to be my shelter through all the rain For the truth I will never change For someone to lean on For a heart I can rely on through anything. For the one who I can run to
For a shield from the storm For a friend For a love to keep me safe and warm I turn to you For the strength to be strong For the will to carry on For everything you do For everything that’s true For everything you do For everything that’s true I turn to you
They continued to sway slowly and as the song came to an end they both pulled back and their lips met in an awaiting kiss that slowly turned passionate. Minutes later, they pulled back breathless, resting their foreheads against each other’s as they both tried to catch their breath.
“God I love you so much” Georgie said breathless as she looked into Dillon’s eyes.
“I love you too.” Dillon said also breathless as the song ended and they were standing in silence.
They stood there in silence both wanting the other so much. To prevent any uneasy awkward moment, Dillon finally managed to speak up, “How about a movie?”
“That sounds good” Georgie said
“Good.” Dillon said pulling back
Georgie smiled as Dillon took her hand and led her down the steps and over to the blanket that laid in the grass. Georgie sat down on the blanket as Dillon walked over to the projector and started it up.
“What are we watching?” Georgie inquired as she watched Dillon set the projector up.
“You’ll see.” Dillon said turning on the projector as the movie started to play on the screen set in front of the blanket.
Dillon made his way over to the blanket and sat down next to Georgie as the credits started the movie. Georgie anxiously watched not recognizing the movie.
“Hey isn’t this the movie that you said reminded you of…” Georgie said
“Reminded me of you when I first met you?” Dillon finished for her
“Yes.” Georgie responded
“Yes, it is” Dillon said, “It’s called…”
“Holiday” Georgie responded just before the title appeared on the screen but Georgie’s eyes were on Dillon.
Dillon looked at her with a surprised look, “You remember?”
“Of course I do. It was the first move you ever mentioned to me, you think I’d forget the title?”
“You’re getting good at this. I’m so proud of you” Dillon said with a smile
“Well I had a great teacher.” Georgie said with a smile.
Dillon just smiled back as they both turned their attention back to the screen and watched the movie.
As they continued to watch, Dillon reached into the picnic basket and pulled out to champagne glasses he kept inside, and then reached for the sparkling cider as Georgie’s eyes continued to stay glued to the screen. Dillon just stared at her and saw how captivated the movie was making her and it just made him love her even more to see her so interested in the movie that began them, in a way.
“You thirsty?” Dillon said snapping Georgie from her trance
“Huh?” Georgie said looking at Dillon
“Thirsty?” Dillon said holding up the bottle of sparkling cider.
“Oh yeah sure” Georgie said with a smile as she watched Dillon carefully pour the cider into the glasses and then hand her one. She took it from Dillon’s hand and smiled as he raised his glass hinting for her to do the same.
“I’d like to make a toast. To the most beautiful girl I’ve ever met. To the love of my life…Georgie. The girl who captivated my heart from the very start, to the only girl I’ll ever want.” Georgie had tears in her eyes as Dillon spoke his heartfelt words. “To Georgie. Cheers.” Dillon said as he clinked Georgie’s glass with his as she gazed into her eyes as he drank. Georgie did the same.
“Mmm…this is good.” Georgie said referring to the cider. “I don’t think I’ve ever had sparkling apple cider before.”
“I’m glad you like it.” Dillon said, “And how would you like some…” he said as he reached into the picnic basket and pulled out some strawberries.
“Ooh strawberries!” Georgie said, “I love strawberries.”
“I know” Dillon said smiling at her as he took the champagne glass from her hand and carefully set it on the grass along with his and scooted closer to her with the strawberries in his hand. He carefully opened the package and pulled out one and held it by the stem in front of him. Georgie reached for it to take it, but Dillon pulled back, “Uh-uh” and pulled it back, causing Georgie to smile knowing what he was going to do. “Close your eyes and open your mouth” he said.
Georgie did so and he smiled as he leaned forward and placed the tip of the strawberry into the opening of her mouth causing her to take a bite. She sensuously chewed the strawberry.
“Mmm…” Georgie said, as she tasted the strawberry in her mouth.
“Is it good?” Dillon inquired.
“Very” Georgie said opening her eyes.
“Mind if I taste?” Dillon said with a smile.
“Sure” Georgie said taking the strawberry from Dillon’s hand and holding it up in front of her, “go ahead”
Dillon started leaning forward and took hold of Georgie’s wrist of the hand that held the strawberry and as he got closer he moved her hand to the side and kissed her lips. His tongue seeking entrance into her mouth by running his tongue against her lips. Georgie happily let him in and as he kissed her he could taste the left over strawberry taste that was left in Georgie’s mouth.
Minutes later, he pulled back. “Mmm…” Dillon said, “You’re right that’s very good”
Georgie just smiled at what Dillon just said and did that it made her curious of what else he had in that basket sitting next to him.
“Well let me see something.” She said getting on her hands and knees and moving over towards the picnic basket and looking inside.
As Georgie reached over him he took a drink of his cider and then licked his lips.
“Ah…” Georgie said reaching into the basket and pulling out a small bowl filled with sugar. “Perfect” she said sitting back on her legs and taking the lid off the bowl. She dipped her finger into the sugar and reached forward and put the sugar on Dillon’s already wet lips. Then set the bowl to the side and instead of reaching for a strawberry she just leaned forward and slowly started kissing the sugar off of Dillon’s lips. This causing Dillon to moan into her mouth and movie the strawberries to the grass as he held her mouth against his as he started to lean forward causing Georgie to lay back on the blanket and they continued kissing enjoying the feeling of the other’s lips.
Minutes later, they pulled apart, “What about the movie?” Dillon asked
“What about it?” Georgie said before sitting back up and capturing Dillon’s lips with hers again and kissing him as she pulled him closer.
Just then there was a noise that caused both Georgie and Dillon to break apart.
“What was that?” Georgie asked sitting up.
“I don’t know…” Dillon said looking around and keeping low just in case one of the Quartermaines came out. Just then he saw a rabbit hop away out of the bushes, “Oh it was just a rabbit”
“Oh” Georgie said looking at Dillon with hungry eyes.
Dillon wanted so much to have her right there but he didn’t want to have, what could be their first time, in the backyard of the Quartermaine estate.
“Let’s get out of here.” Dillon said
“Ok.” Georgie said.
Completely forgetting about the movie that was playing on the screen they took off towards the water where a speedboat was sitting.
“Come on” Dillon said as he headed towards the speedboat.
Georgie followed him and they both climbed onto the speedboat.
“How are we going to get it running?” Georgie asked sitting down
“Ah ha!” Dillon said finding the keys to the speedboat in the ignition. “I guess they don’t think they have to take the keys out huh? Well lucky for us I guess” Dillon said turning the key and started up the speedboat and driving off.
They drove off to a nearby beach and Dillon pulled the speedboat up onto the shore. Dillon shut off the engine and hopped out of the speedboat as Georgie approached the edge.
“Allow me” Dillon said holding up a hand for Georgie.
Georgie took it and let Dillon carefully help her out of the boat. Dillon gently set her down on the sand but did not let go of her. He stared down at her and gazed into her eyes and said, “How about a walk on the beach under the moonlight?”
“Ooh that sounds great” Georgie said, “But first…” she said bending down and taking off her shoes and setting them inside the boat and then turning back to Dillon, “Ok…now I’m ready.”
Dillon just smiled and took her hand as they walked on the beach under the moonlight. They walked over to a secluded area that seemed like it was blocked out from the rest of the world and they stopped and just watched the waves crash against the shore and the moonlight reflecting off the water.
“It is so beautiful tonight.” Georgie said
Dillon stood behind her watching them as he held onto her. “You’re beautiful”
“No I’m not but thanks for saying that” Georgie said pulling his arms tighter around her.
“Yes. You. Are.” Dillon said into her ear, his breath causing her to shiver. “You cold?” he said noticing her shiver
“Not as long as I’m in your arms.” Georgie said turning around in his arms and wrapping her arms around Dillon’s waist underneath his coat and snuggling against his chest as Dillon wrapped his arms around her torso and held her as close to him as he could trying to get her warm.
They stood there holding each other under the moonlight and they started swaying to the sound of the waves.
“Dillon?” Georgie said against Dillon’s chest
“Yeah?” Dillon said resting his chin on the top of Georgie’s head
Georgie pulled back and looked up at him, “Will you dance with me?”
“We don’t have any music” Dillon pointed out
“We’ll make our own music” Georgie said bringing her arms out from inside his jacket and bringing them around his neck and raising up on her toes and resting her chin on his shoulder as she pulled him closer to her.
Dillon and Georgie just held each other close as they started to sway together in their own personal rhythm. After a while, Dillon slowly pulls back and looks at Georgie who was illuminated by the moonlight above and looks deep into her eyes. He reaches forward and brushes a strand of hair that fell in front of her face behind her ear before leaning down and capturing her lips with his and kissing her softly and sensuously. They continue to hold each other as their mouths caressed each other’s sweetly. This kiss was like none other than either one of them had experienced before that they both got weak in the knees and slowly started to kneel down into the sand. They sit up on their knees continuing to kiss. Dillon pulls off his coat never letting his lips leave hers. They pull back momentarily and stare into each other’s eyes with such love. Only to have their lips be drawn back together as Georgie started to lay back in the sand. As they started to lie back, Dillon maneuvered his coat underneath Georgie’s head. Their kiss started to turn very passionate. Georgie starts to pull Dillon’s shirt out from his pants and starts to run her hands underneath it against his warm skin. Dillon brought his lips down to her neck kissing it and making his way around to her throat and then back up to her lips and capturing them again with his. Georgie started unbuttoning Dillon’s shirt.
Dillon pulled back breathlessly, “Georgie, wait, wait.”
“What? What is it?” Georgie said looking up at him breathless.
“We can’t do this” Dillon said, “I didn’t bring anything.”
“Dillon, it’s ok. I’m on the pill” Georgie said, “I’m completely protected.”
“Are you sure?” Dillon asked
“Yes I’m very sure.” Georgie said running her hands up Dillon’s, now bare chest, and pushing his shirt off his shoulders and tossing it to the ground.
Dillon glanced down at Georgie who was looking up at him. “Are you sure you wanna do this?”
“Yes.” Was all Georgie said, “Do you?”
“You know I want to. More than anything. I just don’t want you to do something you’re not ready for” Dillon said
“Dillon, I want you so much. I want my first time to be with you” Georgie said
“I want you too.” Dillon said smiling down at her
Georgie sat up a little and put her hands on the side of his head and said, ‘Then make love to me Dillon. Right now”
Dillon smiled down at her and he couldn’t resist the urge. He wanted her so bad and she wanted him just as much, which was what turned him on even more. He smiled as he lowered his lips back onto hers. Georgie lays back and they lay there kissing sweetly.
As the stars and the moon shone brightly overhead, Georgie and Dillon shared their first time together.

Chapter 14
~*~A MONTH LATER~*~ Georgie walked into Kelly's and went up to the counter. Penny approached her. "Hello. Can I help you?" "Um, yeah, can I please get a glass of ginger ale?" Georgie responded "Sure," Penny said "Thanks," Georgie said as she sat down on one of the stools and put her head in her hands. “Here you are.” Penny set the glass down in front of her. She looked at the slightly peaked girl. “You okay, honey?” Georgie sighed. “Just feel kind of off,” she admitted. Penny smiled sympathetically. “Why don’t you go sit at a table and I’ll bring you some chicken broth and toast?” Georgie smiled gratefully. “Thanks Penny. That’d be great.” Georgie stood up with her ginger ale and walked over to an empty table nearby, sitting down. A couple minutes later, Penny walked over to the table with her chicken broth. "Here you go," Penny said as she sat the bowl right in front of Georgie. "Thank you," Georgie said with a smile "You're welcome. If there's anything else you need don't be afraid to ask, ok?" "I won't. Thank you," Georgie responded. Georgie picked up the spoon and started to sip the broth. "Hey beautiful," Dillon said as he approached the table. Georgie smiled weakly. Dillon’s expression grew concerned. “Hey baby, what’s wrong?” he asked, his tone comforting. “I don’t know,” Georgie said.. “I’ve got this headache and I’m really queasy.” “Here...” Dillon picked up the gingerale and used the straw to stir it up, flattening the carbonation. He put one arm around Georgie and held the glass with the other, bringing it to her lips. “Take small sips,” he soothed. Georgie obeyed, letting Dillon take care of her. She lay her head on his shoulder, and he stroked her hair gently. Georgie closed her eyes, feeling the soft touch of his hand on her hair. She loved how gentle he was with her, his touch always so soft, no matter what.
*Flashback* "Dillon..." Georgie said as she curled up closer to him, her head resting on his chest. "Hmm?" Dillon said, as he softly stroked her hair. "That was amazing," Georgie said, referring to everything they had just shared. "Yeah, tell me about it," Dillon said. Georgie turned and looked up at him, smiling. "What's that smile for?" Dillon asked, seeing the look on her face. "Oh, nothing," Georgie said, turning on her stomach so that she was partially on top of him. "Just, I love you." Dillon pulled her down to him. “I love you,” he whispered, kissing her. *End flashback*
Georgie opened her eyes as Dillon gently slipped his arm out from around her shoulders. “I’ll be right back,” he said quietly. Georgie nodded, putting her head in her hands. In a moment, Dillon came back, a paper cup of ginger ale in his hand. He leaned down, kissing her cheek softly several times. “You want to take this to go?” He asked. “Maybe some fresh air will make you feel better.” “Okay,” Georgie replied. He held her carefully, helping her out of her chair. Georgie smiled. “Do I really look that weak?” she asked him, chuckling slightly. Dillon stroked her cheek softly. “Can’t I just take care of you?” He responded. Georgie smiled slightly, letting her body lean forward so that her head rested against his chest. “Yes, please,” she whispered. Dillon kissed the top of Georgie’s head and escorted her out the door, keeping an arm securely around her shoulders. Dillon walked Georgie all the way back to her house. "You have the key?" Dillon asked as they approached the door. "Yeah," Georgie said, reaching into her pocket. She pulled out the key and handed it to Dillon, her head never leaving his shoulder. Dillon opened the door, leading Georgie inside, then shut the door behind him. "Let's go over to the couch," Dillon said setting the keys on the table by the door as they made their way to the couch. "Here ya go," he said as he sat her down gently. “Thanks,” said Georgie, gratefully. “You feeling any better?” Dillon asked. Georgie nodded. “Yeah, somewhat,” she replied. “I think the walk outside helped.” Dillon smiled. “Good.” He brushed a stray lock of hair behind her ear. “I could stay here with you - you know - if you wanted me to? We could watch a movie?” Georgie took his hand. “That sounds perfect,” she told him. “Thank you.” “Sure,” Dillon said. “I have a couple of DVDs in my backpack. There’s-” “Wait, Dillon,” she interrupted. Dillon looked at her. “Yeah?” Georgie flushed slightly. “Um, don’t laugh, but could we watch something else?” “Like what?” Georgie stood up and walked to the cabinet by the TV, removing a DVD, which she handed to Dillon. “Do you mind?” He looked at the case and laughed gently. “Mary Poppins?” “Hey!” Georgie pouted. “It was my favorite movie as a kid. I always watched it when I was sad, or sick, and it just made me feel better.” Dillon kissed her forehead, helping her back on to the couch. “Anything you want,” he said comfortingly. Dillon went to put the movie in, then moved back to the couch, gathering Georgie into his arms. Shifting her slightly, Dillon placed a pillow on his legs. Georgie lay down, her head in his lap. Dillon rubbed her back in soothing circles as the opening credits began. Georgie laid in her bed, tossing and turning. Shejust couldn't seem to get to sleep. Theheadaches and queasiness she had been feeling had not gone away. She threw back the covers and reached for her phone, dialing an all-too familiar number. "Hello?" a groggy voice said on the other end. "Dillon?" Georgie said "Georgie?" Dillon said, as he looked at his clock. "It's 3:30 in the morning. Are you ok?" "Actually I can't seem to shake these headaches and the queasiness isn't any better. I don't know what’s wrong. I don't usually feel this sick for this long.” “Oohhh,” Dillon murmured sympathetically. “I wish I could make you feel better.” Georgie smiled slightly. “You did, a little, before.” On his end of the phone, Dillon smiled too. “Well,” he said softly, “I’d offer to come over and sit with you, but I’m afraid Mac would kill me.” Georgie cringed slightly. She knew she should let him sleep, but she felt so terrible and she wanted him nearby. “Mac is out on a stakeout all night,” she said hopefully. “He won’t be home until tomorrow afternoon.” She paused. “I’m sorry, Dillon, I shouldn’t be asking this, I know it’s late-” “I’ll be there in twenty minutes,” Dillon interrupted. “Someone might hear if I take a car, so I’ll have to walk.” “Dillon, are you sure?” Georgie asked him, praying he wouldn’t change his mind. “I’m positive,” Dillon replied softly. “I want to be with you. I’ll see you soon.” “Dillon?” Georgie said. “Yeah?” “I love you,” she whispered. Dillon smiled. “I love you,” he replied. He hung up the phone, and climbed out of bed, grabbing a pair of jeans and sliding them on. "Georgie?" Dillon said as he approached Georgie's window and looked inside. "Dillon?" Georgie climbed off the bed and walked over to the window as Dillon climbed inside. "Hey," Dillon said. "Hey." Georgie wrapped her arms around his neck, hugging him. "Thank you for coming over. I know it's late, but I just..." “I know,” he answered, smiling. He helped her over to the bed. “Are you tired?” Georgie nodded. “Yeah,” she said, “but I can’t sleep.” “Okay,” Dillon answered. “Is Maxie home?” Georgie shook her head. “She stayed out with Kyle.” “All right,” Dillon said, “I’ll go get you a glass of water.” Georgie smiled. “Thanks.” In a minute, Dillon was back. Georgie took the glass gratefully, “Thanks,” she said. “You’re welcome.” Dillon smiled. He reached into his backpack and pulled out a CD, showing it to her. “How about some music? Maybe it will help relax you?” Georgie looked at the disc and giggled. “James Taylor? I never figured you for a James Taylor fan.” “Trust me,” Dillon told her, “it’s good.” He walked over to her stereo, putting the CD in and pressing play, then sitting on the bed. As the opening chords of the music began, Dillon gathered Georgie into his arms, arranging her carefully so that her head lay on the sweet, soft spot where his shoulder met his chest. He sang quietly along with the music. “Even the old folks never knew, why they called them like they do. I’ve been wondering since the age of two, down on Copperline.” The subtle vibrations in his chest and the soothing timbre of his voice comforted Georgie. Her head and stomach eased a little; she started to feel more relaxed. Lying in Dillon’s arms was like a panacea. “First kiss ever I took, like a page from a romance book. The sky moved and the earth shook...” Dillon’s breath tickled her ear as he sang the significant words to her. Georgie felt a warm shiver. She needed to kiss him. Georgie looked up at him, lying with his eyes closed as he continued to sing. She watched his lips as they moved along with the music. She just had to feel them on hers. She leaned forward and brushed her lips across his, causing him to stop singing. He opened his eyes and looked at her. Before Dillon had a chance to question her actions, Georgie’s lips made their way back to his. She kissed him again. Soft and tender at first, until she moved herself further upward, causing the kiss to get deeper and more passionate. “Georgie,” DIllon whispered against her lips. “Are you sure you’re okay?” Georgie wrapped her arms around his neck. “Yes,” she replied, almost whining. She didn’t know why, maybe it was the way he was singing to her, or the fact that they were alone and lying in her bed together, but for some reason, she felt almost desperate to make out with him. “Kiss me,” she implored. “Please...” Dillon couldn’t resist her soft tones and moved his mouth over hers, kissing her with gentle passion. In the background, the music played on. “There’s something in the way she moves. Or looks my way or calls my name, that seems to leave this troubled world behind...” The only other sound was that of the kisses exchanged by the two young lovers as they lay in each others’ arms. Dillon continued to kiss her with all the passion that was inside him. He wrapped his arms around her tiny waist before he rolled her onto her back and moved his kisses to her neck. Dillon's lips on her neck made Georgie moan out his name, "Dillon..." Dillon continued to kiss up and down her neck before moving his kisses over to her throat and then up her jawline, leading back to her lips. He hovered above them for a couple seconds. "Georgie..." Dillon said breathlessly. “I need you...” she whispered. Her voice was filled with longing and the sound of it nearly made Dillon groan. He swiftly captured her lips, kissing her with vigor. She responded eagerly, swirling her tongue around in his mouth, running her fingernails under his sweater and up his back. “Georgie...” Dillon moaned desperately. He struggled gain a modicum of control. “If we don’t stop soon, I may not be able to.” “Don’t stop,” she demanded, pulling him back and kissing him even more deeply than before. “I want you too.” Dillon sucked gently at her neck. “I didn’t bring anything,” he said huskily, “but - but you’re still on the pill, right?” “Yeah,” she moaned, letting her head roll to the side as he kissed her neck. “I’m still on the -” Suddenly, something began to click in her head. The headaches...the nausea...waves crashing on the shore...“Pill.” Her eyes snapped open. Georgie shot up, knocking Dillon out of the way. “OH HOLY MOTHER OF GOD!” She screamed at the top of her lungs.

Chapter 15
“What the…” Dillon said. Georgie didn’t say anything as she jumped off the bed and ran over to her bookbag, which laid on the floor. “Georgie, what’s wrong?” Dillon asked very concerned getting off the bed and going over to her Georgie pulled out her day planner and flipped through the pages until she got to the one she had been searching for. The color practically drained from her face. “Georgie?” Dillon asked again. “Huh?” Georgie said like she was lost in another world. “What’s wrong?” Dillon said putting a hand on the side of her face “What’s wron…” Georgie started but stopped when she thought of all the repercussions that could come of what she thought might be true. “Nothing. Nothing’s wrong” She said with a fake smile on her face. “Georgie…” Dillon said, “Come on, tell me.” “Nothing’s wrong” Georgie said trying to sound more positive, but failing miserably. She knew that Dillon could tell when she was lying, and she knew very well he could tell now. “I’ll be right back.”
Before Dillon could respond, Georgie disappeared into the hallway and into the bathroom shutting the door behind her. Dillon stood there completely confused. He had no idea what had just happened. One minute they were kissing, the next, she’s freaking out, and then pretending that nothing was wrong. Dillon knew Georgie, and he knew that something was wrong. And for some reason, Georgie was hesitant to tell him for whatever reason, and that worried him even more.
Georgie locked the bathroom door and sat down on the toilet staring at the calendar in front of her. “This can’t be right.” Georgie said to herself, “1…2…3…4…” she counted to herself. “Oh, my God.” Georgie said the day planner dropping to the floor and her head going into her hands. There was a knock on the door, causing Georgie’s head to pop up. “Georgie, are you ok in there?” Dillon said from the other side of the door. “Um...yeah.” Georgie said trying to regain her composure. “I’ll be right out.” “Ok” Dillon said before quietly walking back into Georgie’s room. Georgie stood up and walked over to the mirror and looked at her tear-stained face in the mirror. “How can I tell him this?” Georgie said to herself. “Oh, God, please help me.” She said fresh tears flowing from her face, “I love him so much. I can’t lose him.” Georgie took a few deep breaths to try to calm herself down, before turning on the water and splashing some cold water on her face.
About 10 minutes later, Georgie walked back into her room to find Dillon sitting on her bed patiently waiting for her to return. The minute she stepped into the room, he stood up. “Georgie, tell me what is going on.” Dillon said Georgie went to speak only to be cut off by Dillon “And don’t tell me nothing, because clearly it’s something.” Georgie stood at the door and took a few deep breaths before walking over towards Dillon. “Um…I’m…” Georgie started avoiding eye contact with Dillon. “What?” Dillon asked getting even more worried. Georgie looked up at Dillon and saw the concern and worry in his face and it tore her up inside, causing her to break into tears. “Hey, hey…” Dillon said pulling Georgie into his arms and hugging her close. Georgie clinged onto Dillon like he was her only lifeline she had left. “Oh my God, you’re shaking” Dillon said noticing that the sobs were overtaking her body, causing her to shake. “Come here.” He said before bending down and scooping her up into his arms. He carried her to the bed and sat down, setting Georgie on his lap, her arms still wrapped tightly around his neck. His shirt was getting wet from the hot tears still pouring out of her eyes. “Georgie, baby, tell me what’s wrong” Dillon said running his hand up and down her back. “N…No. I can’t.” Georgie said through her sobs. “Why not?” “Because I can’t lose you” Dillon managed to pull back and look at Georgie whose face was very red and wet with tears. “Where am I going?” Dillon asked in a soft voice, “I’m right here. I’m not going anywhere.” “But…” “But what? Georgie, I’m here because I love you and I wanna be. Now please tell me what’s got you so upset.” “Ok, but first…” Georgie said finally looking at him, “Kiss me.” Dillon smiled as he slowly leaned forward and kissed her softly. Georgie instantly deepened the kiss, fearing it may be the last. Minutes later, they pulled apart. “Better?” Dillon asked placing his hand on the side of her face. “A little” Georgie said “Good.” Dillon said, “Now what’s wrong?” “Um, I’m…” Georgie said trailing off more afraid than ever to say what she knew she must. “Ok, Georgie, you’re officially scaring me” Dillon said more afraid of what Georgie wasn’t telling him. “You’re what?” “I’m late.”

Chapter 16
“What?” Dillon asked “I’m late.” Georgie repeated. “You’re la…” Dillon said trailing off when he realized what she was talking about. “Oh…” Georgie noticed the change in Dillon’s facial expression and tone of voice and her heart sank. This was it. This was the moment she’d been dreading for the past 20 minutes. He was going to pull away. “’Oh’? That’s all you have to say?” Georgie said as she got off his lap. “Um…” Dillon started “I tell you that I’m late and you can’t think of anything better to say?” “Georgie, I…” “No! Forget it!” Georgie said tears building up in her eyes. “I’ll handle it myself!” She said taking off toward the door “Georgie, wait! Wait!” Dillon said getting up and grabbing her arm before she could open the door. “No! Let go!” Georgie said snapping her arm out of his grasp. “I don’t want you to have to worry about anything. I’ll take care of it.” “Georgie, will you calm down please?” Dillon said “Why? Why should I calm down when my whole life is about ready to fall apart?” Georgie said tears falling as she moved away from Dillon and the door and back toward her bed. “Georgie, are you sure that…” “Sure of what?” Georgie challenged, “That I’m late? Yes, I’m sure.” There was an awkward pause as Georgie turned her back to Dillon as the tears continued to fall from her eyes. “That I might be pregnant?” She said her voice low, but Dillon still heard it. “Pregnant?” Dillon asked. “I thought you said you were on the pill?” “I am but it’s not 100% effective.” “Oh wow.” Dillon said running his hands through his hair realizing how scared Georgie must be right now. “Georgie, I know you must be really scared right now but maybe we should just make sure that…” “Scared?” Georgie said a little louder, “No, I’m not scared.” Georgie said turning to face Dillon with her face all red with tears still pouring down her face. “I’m terrified.” It tore Dillon’s heart in a million pieces to see what this was doing to Georgie. He wanted so much to take away all the pain that this was causing her, but he didn’t know how. “Georgie…” “Not only am I scared that I might be pregnant, but I’m also scared that…that you might leave me?” She said as she turned back around and had her back to him. Dillon’s mouth literally dropped open. Did he just hear her right? Was she afraid that he’d abandon her at a time like this? “Leave you?” Dillon said walking over to Georgie, who still had her back to him. “Dillon, please. I don’t expect you to stay with me and help me. I know this can’t be what you want for your life. To have to stay with a girl that you accidentally got pregnant because she was too stupid to stop and wait until they had protection. No, she assumed that the pill would prevent her from getting pregnant. It’s my problem to deal with.” “Ok...” Dillon said turning Georgie around to face him, “First of all, I’m not going anywhere. I’m staying with you because it’s where I want to be. Second, you are not just some girl, you are the love of my life and I’m not going to desert you when you need me the most. Thirdly, you’re not stupid, you’re amazing. And finally, it’s not just your problem, it’s mine too, and I’m NOT going anywhere. Ok?” He said touching the side of her face with his hand. Georgie looked into his eyes with tears continuing to pour out of hers. “But Dillon…” “But nothing” Dillon said, “I’m staying right here with you and that’s final, ok?” He said looking into her eyes Georgie just nodded her head and wrapped her arms around his neck and started to cry in his arms. “It’s going to be all right.” Dillon said running his hand up and down her back. “I promise.”

Chapter 17
“Dillon I can’t be pregnant” Georgie said hugging Dillon so tight. “Baby, we don’t even know if you are yet.” Dillon said soothingly. “Let’s go get one of those home pregnancy tests before we jump to any conclusions, ok?” Dillon said pulling back and looking Georgie in the eye before wiping away some tears. Georgie just nodded. “It’s going to be alright. I’m with you either way, ok? I’m not going to abandon you.” “Thank you” Georgie said hugging him again. “You’re welcome.” Dillon said returning the hug. “So…how about you get yourself ready and then we’ll head over to the drugstore and buy you one of those tests.” Dillon said leaning back and looking at her. “Ok.” Georgie said wiping away the fresh tears that had fallen from her eyes as she got off Dillon’s lap and headed towards her door. She opened the door slowly and before exiting the room she turned back around and looked at Dillon who stood beside her bed watching her. “I love you” Dillon smiled at Georgie, “I love you too” Georgie slowly closed the door and headed to the bathroom to freshen up. Dillon let out a heavy sigh that he had been holding back since Georgie told him she was late. He knew that this was a BIG thing and that it was a life-altering thing that could forever change his life. And he was truly scared. Dillon didn’t know the first thing about being a father. He never knew his and he couldn’t exactly take tips from his mother who had basically been in out of his life ever since he was little. What if he failed Georgie? He couldn’t take it. He wanted to be there for her in every way but how could he do it and remain calm about his feelings at the same time. He knew he couldn’t abandon Georgie, if she had indeed turned out to be pregnant. Dillon was snapped out of his thoughts when Georgie returned. “You ready?” Dillon asked walking over to her. “Mm-hmm” Georgie said taking Dillon’s hand in hers, “As long as you’re with me” “There’s no place I’d rather be” Dillon said smiling at her. Georgie smiled before turning and walking out of her room with Dillon following.
About a half an hour later, Dillon and Georgie walked up the path to the Jones’ house. Right before they walked up the steps to the door, Georgie stopped. “Georgie? What’s wrong?” Dillon said noticing she stopped “I can’t do this” Georgie said “Can’t do what?” Dillon asked “This.” Georgie said holding up the brown paper bag in her hand. “I can’t do this. At least not here. I mean what if Maxie’s home? Or what if Mac comes home while we’re waiting? What am I going to tell them?” “I’ll make up some excuse” Dillon said, “Don’t worry about it” “Do we really have to do this today anyway?” Georgie asked “You want to know don’t you?” Dillon asked. “Well…yeah.” Georgie said, “But what if it turns out to be positive? What am I going to do then?” “Well, first off, it’s what are WE going to do, because you’re not alone in this. And the answer to that question would have to be, we’ll cross that bridge when we come to it. But we do need to know if there is something, if anything, to worry about.” “You’re right.” Georgie said, “We can do this” “Yes we can.” Dillon said holding out a hand to Georgie. Georgie looked at Dillon’s hand and then back up into his eyes, before placing her hand in his as he made his way to the door. Georgie opened the door with her key and they both breathed a sigh of relief when they realized nobody was home. They turned and headed up the stairs and into Georgie’s room. Georgie closed the door behind her and walked over to her desk and set her purse down on the chair. She reached into the bag and pulled out a home pregnancy test. “Well here goes nothing…” Georgie said “It’ll be fine.” Dillon said tucking a hair behind her ear and kissing her forehead. Georgie smiled before leaving the room and walking into the bathroom. “Ok this is it” Georgie said to herself before she opened the box.
Georgie walked back into the room about 10 minutes after completing the test. Dillon stood up as soon as he saw her walk in, trying to decipher from the look on her face if it was good news or bad news. “Well?” Dillon asked “What? Oh, no. The test takes like 20 minutes.” Georgie said “Oh.” Dillon said. There was an awkward silence. “Dillon, will you please do something to keep my mind off the fact that possibly in the next 10 minutes my life could change permanently?” Dillon knew what she meant and tried to figure out what he could do. He noticed her radio a couple feet from her. He walked over to it and turned it on, searching for a song. He found the perfect song and then turned and faced Georgie. “May I?” Dillon asked extending his hand to her. “Yes.” Georgie said smiling before placing her hand in his. Dillon pulled her to him as they started to sway to the music.
There’s something bout the way you look tonight, There’s something bout the way that I can't take my eyes off you. There’s something bout the way your lips invite, Maybe it’s the way that I get nervous when you’re around. And I want you to be mine And if u need a reason why,
It’s in the way that you move me, and the way that you tease me The way that I want you tonight, It’s in the way that you hold me, and the way that you know me, when I can't find the right words to say, You feel it in the way, You feel it in the way.
Dillon brought Georgie’s hand that he was holding around his neck and wrapped his arms around her waist pulling her closer to him. Georgie tightened her grip around Dillon’s neck as she rested her head on his shoulder. Dillon rested his chin on Georgie’s shoulder enjoying the feeling of her in his arms
There’s something bout how you stay on my mind, There’s something bout the way that I whisper your name when I'm asleep Oh girl Maybe it’s the look you get in your eyes. Oh baby it’s the way that makes me feel to see you smile. And the reasons they may change but what I'm feeling stays the same.
Dillon turned his head into Georgie’s neck and placed tiny kisses on her neck.
It’s in the way that you move me, and the way that you tease me The way that I want you tonight, It’s in the way that you hold me, and the way that you know me, when I can't find the right words to say, You feel it in the way, You feel it in the way.
I can't put my fingers on just what it is that makes me love you, you baby. So don't ask me to describe, I get all choked up inside, just thinking bout the way.
It’s in the way that you move me, and the way that you tease me The way that I want you tonight, It’s in the way that you hold me, and the way that you know me, when I can't find the right words to say, You feel it in the way, You feel it in the way.
The song came to an end and Georgie and Dillon remained in each other’s arms. Neither one of them wanting that moment to end. Just then a bell was heard coming from a distance, causing them to pull apart. “What’s that?” Dillon asked “It’s time.” Georgie said, “I had a timer set in the bathroom when the 10 minutes was up.” Dillon looked at a very scared Georgie and deep inside he was just as scared as her, only he hid it for her sake. “You want me to go in there with you?” Dillon asked “No, I can do this.” Georgie said trying to remain calm. “Ok” Dillon said Georgie left her room for what seemed like an eternity for Dillon. Shortly after Georgie left, she came back with the pregnancy test strip in her hand and her face expressionless as she looked down at the strip in her hand” “Georgie?” Dillon asked getting nervous that she wasn’t saying anything Georgie just looked up and no words had to be spoken, her face said it all.

Chapter 18
“Oh my God.” Dillon said seeing the look on her face. “I’m...” Georgie said looking back down at the stick still in her hands. “It’s positive?” Dillon asked to confirm his assumption in his mind. Georgie looked up at Dillon. “It’s positive.” “Oh…wow” Dillon said running his hand through his hair. “I’m pregnant” Georgie said as if she were in a trance, not moving from where she stood. Dillon, lost in thought, looked at Georgie who looked like she had just seen a ghost. Slowly Georgie looked up at Dillon tears building up in her eyes, threatening to pour out at any minute. Just then Georgie snapped, the stick fell out of her hand and to the ground has her hands went to her face, letting the fresh tears flow from her eyes. Sobs overtook her body and she started to fall to the floor. Dillon caught her in his arms and held her close to his body. “Shh, shh...” Dillon said trying to calm her down. “I can’t be…” Georgie started but was cut off by uncontrollable sobs that seemed to pour out of her. “Shh…” Dillon said as she started rocking side to side. “It’s going to be ok. Let’s just calm down and think this through, ok?” He said maneuvering himself so that Georgie was sitting on his lap. Georgie just sat on Dillon’s lap, her arms wrapped around his neck, clinging to him so tight. “Hey, hey” Dillon said pulling back slightly, making Georgie lean back and look at him. “Look at me” Georgie looked up at Dillon with bloodshot eyes. “I’m not going anywhere, ok?” Georgie nodded. “I’m going to be with you through this. Let’s not jump to conclusions until we find out for sure that you are indeed pregnant.” “But Dillon, the test said pos…” “I know. I know the drug store test said positive…but it could be wrong. Let’s go see a real doctor and if says that you are really pregnant, then we’ll deal with it then, ok?” Georgie nodded tears falling. “It’s going to be ok.” Dillon said bringing a hand to her face. Georgie nodded again before leaning forward and wrapping her arms around his neck hugging him again.
“Georgie?” Dillon said knocking at the door. “Come in.” Georgie said her voice still a little shaky. Dillon walked in and saw Georgie sitting on the edge of her bed looking down at her hands, which were shaking. “Are you ready? The appointment’s in 30 minutes” Dillon said slowly walking toward her. “The appointment that will decide my future.” Georgie said looking up at Dillon as she grew closer. “Yes it will” Dillon said. “But it’s my future too, because I’m not leaving your side for a second.” “You say that now, but what about when…” “What if what? What if you are indeed pregnant?” Dillon asked. Georgie nodded. “Well if you are pregnant, then not only is your life going to change, but mine is as well. This is not just your baby…it’s OUR baby.” ”Baby.” Georgie said. “Wow, I never thought I’d be saying that word at 16.” “Yeah me either.” Dillon said. “But these things happen. We’ll make it through this. I promise.” Georgie nodded. “Ok, lets go” Dillon said extending his hand to Georgie. “Ok” Georgie said putting her hand in his and following him out of her room.
Georgie and Dillon walked hand in hand into the private clinic a few miles from Port Charles. The waiting room was filled with the sounds of little kids playing with the toys. Georgie stopped and stared, realizing that this could be her life very soon. Dillon noticed Georgie lost in her thoughts and could pretty much read what she was thinking, because he was thinking the same thing. “Come on.” Dillon said as he started heading to the counter. Georgie followed. “Hello.” The lady behind the counter said, “How can I help you?” “Um…yes.” Dillon said glancing back at Georgie, who was still staring at the little kids. “My girlfriend has an appointment” The lady opened the book in front of her searching for the correct page. “Her name?” “Georgie Jones” Dillon said The lady searched the pages until she came upon Georgie’s name. “Yes, Georgie Jones, 5:00.” “That’s correct.” Dillon said “All right. I’ll let the doctor know she’s here. Just have a seat. It may be a few minutes.” “Thank you.” Dillon said “You’re welcome.” The lady said with a smile before walking away. Dillon turned and gave Georgie’s hand a little tug. She turned and looked at him. “It’s going to be fine.” Dillon said reading her mind. “Yeah.” Georgie said nodding. “Come on. Let’s sit” Dillon said walking toward two empty seats against the wall. They both sat down, not saying a word, knowing exactly what the other was thinking. After what seemed like a lifetime, the time had come. “Georgie Jones?” A doctor said standing in a nearby doorway. Georgie and Dillon both looked in the direction of the doctor and then back at each other. “You want me to come?” Dillon asked “No. It’s all right. I’ll be fine” Georgie said standing up “You sure?” Dillon asked standing up. “Yeah, I’m sure” Georgie said. “Ok. I love you” Dillon said smiling at her “I love you, too” Georgie said Dillon leaned down and gave her a soft kiss. Georgie gave him one last smile before heading toward the awaiting doctor. Dillon watched her as she disappeared through the doorway.
Georgie and Dillon slowly walked through the front door to the Scorpio’s house, both not saying a word. Georgie dropped her purse on a chair by the door before heading over to the couch to be followed by Dillon. They sat there struggling to ponder what they had just been told. “I’m pregnant.” Georgie said still trying to convince herself that it was true. “Yeah” Dillon said still trying to process the news as well. “We need to do something, Dillon” Georgie said turning to face him for the first time since they left the hospital. “What are we going to do?” Dillon said. “I don’t know, but shouldn’t we do something?” “Do something about what?” A voice said coming out of nowhere. Both Georgie and Dillon turned quickly and their mouths dropped. There stood the last person they wanted to see.

Chapter 19
“Mac.” Georgie said scared but trying to hide it “Do something about what?” Mac repeated “Uh…do something about…my math grade” Dillon said. “I’m falling behind again, and Georgie was just saying that I need to do something to bring it up” “You really expect me to believe that?” Mac said glaring at Dillon. “Did you get my daughter into some kind of trouble again, Quartermaine? Because if you did, I can guarantee that you will never see her again” Dillon glanced over at Georgie, who had a terrified look on her face. “No Sir. I haven’t gotten into any trouble.” Dillon said calmly. Mac glanced over at Georgie who tried to disguise her fear when she saw him look over. She forced a smile on her face. “You ok?” Mac asked “Oh…me?” Georgie asked her voice a little shaky. “Ahem. Yeah I’m fine.” Mac was reluctant to believe her, because he could sense something was up and it didn’t have anything to do with homework. But he just let it go. He just nodded and gave Dillon the evil eye, “I’m watching you Quartermaine.” Dillon nodded. “Yes, sir” Mac took a step toward Georgie and kissed her on the forehead. “I have to go down to the station to work on a case. I’ll probably be home late. Get some rest, you look tired.” Georgie just nodded. “Dillon, out by 10.” Mac said Dillon just nodded. Both Dillon and Georgie watched as Mac walked out. Once he was gone they both let out a sigh of relief. “That was close.” Dillon said “Yeah a little too close” Georgie said standing up. “Dillon, Mac is going to flip out when he finds out I’m pregnant. He can’t ever find out.” “Georgie, he’s going to get suspicious when you start showing.” Dillon pointed out as she sat back down on the couch. “So I’ll wear baggy clothes. I’m not going to tell him and then have my worst nightmare come true.” “Worst nightmare?” Dillon asked Georgie looked over at him and nodded. “Yeah. I tell Mac the truth…and we end.” ”Georgie, no…” “Yes, Dillon. You know very well that if Mac ever found out I was pregnant that he would go straight to Edward, who would call your mom, who would be back here in a heartbeat to take you off to Europe, or someplace just a far to get you away from me.” “Georgie, that’s not going to happen” Dillon said scooting closer to her on the couch. “Yes, it very well could happen, Dillon. So nobody can find out that I’m pregnant. Nobody.” “We’ll think of something” “I’m serious, Dillon. No one. I’m not losing you.” “Hey, hey come here” Dillon said pulling her into his arms and hugging her tight. Georgie rested her head on Dillon’s chest, her arm wrapped around his waist as she hugged him tight. “You’re not going to lose me. Not ever, ok. If by chance Mac happens to find out, so what. He can’t do anything that is going to make me leave your side. If worse comes to worse, we’ll run away if our parents won’t let us be together.” “Dillon, we can’t afford a baby on the run” Georgie pointed out. “We’d manage” Dillon said, ‘I’d get a job. Hell, I’d get two jobs if I had to. We’ll make this work. We have to. We have a baby to think about now.” Georgie looked up at Dillon and stared into his eyes before a smile crept on her face. “I love you.” “I love you, too” Dillon said putting a hand on her cheek and leaning down and brushing his lips against hers, kissing her softly.
Three months had passed, and Georgie was starting to show. They still hadn’t told anyone that Georgie was pregnant. And now that she was beginning to show, she began to wear baggy clothing to hide it. Georgie and Dillon approached Kelly’s and Dillon reached for the door, opening it, and ushering Georgie inside. They walked to a table and Dillon pulled out a chair for Georgie. ”After you” Dillon said “Thank you” Georgie said sitting down. Dillon made his way to the other side of the table and sat down across from her. He reached across the table and took her hand. “How are you feeling?” Dillon asked “Just fine, daddy” Georgie said in a low voice. Dillon smiled at that comment. ”Daddy.” He said softly. “I like that.” “Me too.” Georgie said smiling at him as he squeezed her hand. “Can I help you?” Penny said walking up to the table. “Oh” Dillon said pulling back, releasing Georgie’s hand and picking up a menu. “I’ll have a cheeseburger and fries with a coke.” Dillon said “And for you?” Penny asked Georgie “Oh just an herbal tea please.” “You’re not going to eat anything?” Dillon asked “Nah. I’m not really hungry.” She told Dillon. “Just a tea please” She said to Penny. “I’ll be right back with that.” Penny said walking away “Georgie, you have to eat.” Dillon said his voice a little low. “You’re eating for two now. “Dillon, I had food this morning. I had eggs, toast and some orange juice. I’m fine.” “All right” Dillon said in a tone sensing he wasn’t convinced. “Hey guys!” Maxie said in a cheerful voice as she approached the table hand in hand with Kyle. “Oh hey Maxie” Georgie said pulling back and letting go of Dillon’s hand “What’s up?” Maxie asked “Nothing.” Georgie said, “Just having lunch with Dillon” “Oh well I was wondering if you guys wanted to double date with us tonight. We’re going to the movies.” “Oh…” Georgie started “Actually…tonight’s bad.” Dillon intercepted. Georgie looked at Dillon confused. “We have things to talk about.” Dillon said giving her a look. “Oh, ok” Georgie said getting the hint and then glancing over at Maxie and Kyle. “All right then” Maxie said. “I guess we’ll see you later.” “All right.” Georgie said. “Bye.” Both Kyle and Maxie headed out of the diner. When they were gone, Georgie turned back to Dillon. “What is it?” Georgie asked “Georgie, I’m sorry…I know you wanted to…” “No it’s fine. Just tell me what’s going on.” Georgie said concerned. “Georgie, I think Kyle knows something.” Dillon said.
