Chapter 1

Georgie walked into her house, she put her bag down on the couch and went up stairs. “Maxie I’m home.” Maxie came out of her room and said “So how was it?” “Boring as usual.” “Georgie you usually liked the old movies.” “Yeah that was with Dillon.” She said under her breath. “What?” asked Maxie “Oh I know I was out of it today.” “Hey it happens but I am going to go out tonight you think you could cover for me?” “Yeah sure I have nothing to do anyways.” “You know my offer still stands if you want to go.” “No Maxie I don’t want to be the little sister that tags along.” “Ok then see ya later.” “Bye have fun and don’t do anything I wouldn’t.” she said laughing a little.
Georgie had been studying listening to music, when she heard the phone ring. “Hello?” she waited for an answer. “Hello is anyone there.” Then the line went dead. Georgie just hung up the phone and decided to go to Kelly’s to get something to eat. Dillon was sitting at a table typing a paper for school, when he heard her voice. “Ok Mac, have fun.” She said laughing. “Ok love you too, see ya tomorrow night.” She hung up her phone and looked at Dillon and he looked away afraid she noticed him starring at her. “Hey Penny,” she said walking up to the bar “What can I get you Georgie?” “Um I would like a bowl of chicken soup and a BLT to go please.” “What do you want to drink?” “Uh a Dr. Pepper would be fine.” She sat down and waited for her food, mean while Dillon was contemplating on going to talk to her, finally he decided to talk to her. He closed his laptop and said “Hey Georgie.” “Hey Dillon” “Hey listen I was wondering if you could help me study for the History test tomorrow?” “I think I could fit that into my schedule.” She said smiling he smiled back. “Here ya go Georgie.” “Thanks Penny.” Dillon was putting his laptop in his bag and Georgie walked over to him. “Ok all ready.” “Yeah lets go.” He said grabbing his jacket.
They walked in to the house and Georgie put her food down and said “I will go get my notes.” Georgie walked up stairs and walked into her room and smiled thinking what am I doing? She walked down to the living room and Dillon had turned on some music. “Ok what do we need to study?” “Well,” she said “Mostly about World War II.” Dillon opened his text book, and watched as she opened the brown paper bag and pulled out the soup and sandwich. “Hey Dillon?” “Yes?” “Do you want half of this BLT because I won’t eat it all?” “Ok I haven’t ate, thanks.” “Your welcome.”
After about an hour of studying Georgie looked at Dillon “Hey Dillon?” “Yes?” he said looking up from his textbook. “You wouldn’t happen to have a…” he interrupted her and said “an old movie.” “Yes.” She said laughing. Dillon pulled out the movie and put it into the VCR and Georgie went to make some popcorn and get some drinks. She walked back into the living room and gave Dillon his drink and sat down and out the popcorn between them. “So what are we watching?” “A classic musical, Singing in the Rain.” “Cool I like musicals.” Then the movie started.
“That was a great movie.” Said Georgie getting up. “Yeah, it is.” “You know Dillon I think we should do this more often.” She said smiling. “Yeah so I can do this.” Dillon said throwing some popcorn at her “Ouartermaine you did not just do that.” “I think I did Jones.” Georgie grabbed a handful of popcorn and said “Well now you have to pay.” Georgie ran after him and Dillon turned off the lights “Hey Dillon I can’t see.” “That’s the whole point.” “I can still get you I know this house like the back of my hand.” Georgie felt Dillon run into her and knock her down. Then someone turned the lights on and Georgie opened her eyes to Dillon who’s face was inches away from hers.

Chapter 2

“Georgie?” said Maxie “Yeah down here.” “What are you doing down there in the dark?” she said looking over the couch. “Me and Dillon were picking up popcorn.” “Cool, wait Dillon?” “Hey Maxie,” he said looking over at her and Smiling “Yeah picking up popcorn, um I am going to go to bed you two have fun.” “Ok.” They both said. “Hey Dillon we can finish this tomorrow we have to go to bed so we can go to school.” “Ok.” “You can sleep in my room on the floor.” “Ok, do you still have my clothes over here?” “Yeah.” “I am going to go get changed, you can get the extra blankets out from under my bed.” “Ok.”
Dillon was laying on his pallet on Georgie’s floor when she walked in “She got in bed and said “Goodnight Q.” “Goodnight J.” she turned out the lights and just laid there and thought of what might of happened if Maxie wouldn’t have walked in. Her alarm went off at 6:15 and she turned it off. She looked over at Dillon who was still sound asleep and smiled then she got up grabbed some clothes for school and went to take a shower. Dillon woke up and heard the shower going and just laid there and smiled. He got up and found his clothes and got dressed.
Georgie got out of the shower and dried off and got dressed, she walked into her room and found Dillon sitting on her bed reading his text book. “I didn’t know you studied.” She said laughing. “Well I really want to pass this test for some reason.” Georgie fixed her hair and makeup and said “Lets go.” As she grabbed her book bag and purse and walked down to the living room.
At school Georgie was by her locker getting books for third period when she heard her sister around the corner. “Kyle I don’t know,” she said talking to him on her cell phone. “Mac would kill me if he found out, and plus I got Dillon in trouble last time.” “Ok well I will try my best to get the drugs I will see you tonight.” Georgie shut her locker and just thought “why does she do this.” “Hey Jones,” she heard as she turned around “Are you ready for this test?” “Yeah Dillon come on lets go.” Dillon finished his test before Georgie and he could tell that she was nervous and Georgie was never nervous about a little test. Georgie took a deep breath and got out of her seat and went to turn in her test. She sat back down and turned on her laptop. She signed on to her aim and she got a message from Dillon “Ok what is wrong,” “Nothing I was just nervous” “No I know you never get that nervous about a little test what is wrong?” “I will tell you at lunch ok the bell is going to ring.” Georgie put her laptop in her backpack. The bell rang and Georgie walked out and waited for Dillon, “Ok Jones whats up?” “Maxie, she….she is stealing drugs for Kyle again.” “What?” “Yeah and I think that he is having another party tonight and she is going to go.” “Hey, Georgie its going to be ok, we will think of something.”
Dillon and Georgie found Maxie and Dillon said “Hey Jones number two.” “Maxie, I just got a call from dad and he said that tonight we have to go home and stay there.” “Why?” “He said that he needed to talk to us.” “Oh ok I will be there.”
Maxie walked into the house and put her stuff down, then the phone rang “Hello?” “Hey its Mac.” “Oh,” “Look you girls need to take care of yourselves tonight ok.” “Why?” “I have to stay on this case all night.” “But I thought you told Georgie you needed to talk to us?” “No, I never told her that.” “Ok, bye dad.” She said in a mad voice. “Bye Sweetie.” Maxie hung up the phone and waited for Georgie to come home.
Georgie walked into the house and saw Maxie sitting there “Hey Maxie,” she got cut off “Don’t hey Maxie me, why did you lie to me.” “Lie, about what?” “About dad he told me that he never called you.” “Ok Maxie I lied because I heard you talking to Kyle on the phone and I don’t want you to get hurt again.” “Georgie you don’t need to worry about me ok worry about yourself.” Maxie said as she grabbed her jacket and left. Georgie sat down on the couch and her cell rang “Hello?” “Hey its Dillon, how did it go?” “She left Mac called and told her that he wasn’t going to be home tonight and she asked him if was going to talk to us and he said no.” “Its ok GJ, she hopefully won’t be as stupid as she was last time.” “Ok Dillon,” “Georgie do you want to do something tonight to take your mind off of Max?” “Yeah sure Dillon.” “Ok meet me at Kelly’s in about 20 minutes ok.” “Ok by D.” “Bye G.” Georgie went upstairs and fixed her makeup and grabbed her purse and went to Kelly’s. She walked into Kelly’s and sat down a table and have a little faith in me was playing Georgie put her head in her hands and imagined the first time she saw Dillon, making her laugh. Then she looked up and she saw him standing at the door smiling at her. She walked up to him and hugged him, “What was that for?” “I just want to thank you for all that you went through with me.” “I will always be there for you.” Georgie just starred at him and smiled and they began dancing “Why are you looking at me like that?” Georgie didn’t say anything. “Georgie?” Then she put her lips on his and kissed him almost like she did the first time but sweeter. She pulled back and Dillon smiled down at her and wrapped his arms around her waist and picked her up. He put her down and kissed her again “God that feels good.” Georgie smiled and said “I have been wanting to do it for a long time now.” They both laughed and he put his forehead on hers and said “hey lets go see a movie.” “Is that all you want to do?” “We can do something else.” “No Dillon I wouldn’t want to do anything else but go see a movie with you.” She grabbed her stuff and they went to the movie theater.
Dillon dropped Georgie at home and Georgie walked into the house with a smile on her face she shut the door and leaned back against it and got the biggest smile on her face. She went into her room and laid on her bed then she heard Maxie come home but it was only 8:30. Maxie knocked on Georgie’s door. “Come in.” “Hey Georgie I just want to apologize to you about earlier.” “It ok Max, so how was the party?” “I didn’t go, I went to volunteer.” “That’s good Maxie.” “Yeah so what happened to you, your glowing.” “Well I think me and Dillon are back on.” Maxie smiled and gave her a hug. “Is this for seriouos?” “Well we met at Kelly’s and we danced and I kissed him and then we went to see a movie.” “Georgie that is so great.” Georgie smiled “Ok well I am going to go to bed.” “Ok Georgie she ya in the morning.” “Goodnight.” Georgie looked at the picture on her night stand and smiled and turned off the light and went to bed.

Chapter 3

In the morning Georgie woke up and got ready to go volunteer at the hospital, she heard her cell phone go off and she picked it up and saw that she received a text message, so she opened it and it said “meet me at Kelly’s before you go volunteering love Dillon” she smiled picked up her purse and left to go to Kelly’s. She looked through the window and saw Dillon sitting at the bar on his laptop, she walked in a Dillon turned around and Georgie walked up to him and hugged him, she put her bag on the bar and Dillon took her coat off and put it on the back of the chair.
“So when do you have to go to volunteering?” “Well I was going to try and get there early but I don’t have to be there until 11:00 which is two hours from now.” “Well what did you want?” “What I can’t ask to see my girlfriend?” “Girlfriend, so we are back on?” “That is the correct answer.” She laughed. They leaned forward and were just about to kiss when Dillon heard his mom walk in and say “Can I talk to my son?” “Dillon go I’ll stay here.” “Ok I’ll be right back.” He said kissing her and walking outside with his mom.
“What now mom?” “Why are you still hanging out with her?” “I’m hanging out with Georgie mom be…” “Never mind that, I need a favor from you.” “No mom I am not spying on anyone for you.” “No I don’t mean that I need you to ask Lorenzo Alcazar a question…” “No mom I will not do that he has gotten me into enough trouble as it is.” Dillon stormed off into Kelly’s and Georgie said “What’s wrong.” “Nothing my mom is just asking me to do something that I would never do in a million years.” “Oh I’m sorry.” “Don’t be, well would you like me to walk you to the hospital?” “Sure that would be great.” Georgie put on her coat and grabbed her purse and they walked out of Kelly’s.
“Hey Maxie,” Georgie said as she pushed the books over to where Maxie was sitting. “Hey Georgie.” “What’s up?” “Nothing just thinking.” “What I was doing this weekend.” “Oh, what have you thought of doing?” “Well since Kyle is mad at me I thought maybe we could go to the mall tonight?” “Hey hanging out with my big sister I couldn’t think of anything else.” “Ok,” said Maxie getting up “well we better get back to work.”
That night Georgie called to tell Dillon what her and Maxie were doing not knowing that it was all to get her out of the house. Maxie and Georgie went to the mall around 6:30 they bought some shoes, purses, and clothes, and Georgie bought Dillon a movie. “Hey Georgie,” said Maxie driving home “I am just going to drop you off at the house then I am going to spend the night at Alicia’s.” “Ok that sounds fine.” Maxie dropped off Georgie and Georgie grabbed her bags and walked up to the door. She walked into the living room which was lit by candles she put her purse down on the table and saw a movie ticket and she picked it up, she saw rose petals and movie tickets leading up the stairs. She followed the path and opened her bedroom door and saw Dillon standing there, she smiled and he said “May I see your ticket?” She handed him the ticket and she said “What is this all about.” She said pointing to the TV and the stack of candy and movies. “Well miss Jones, I thought you would like just to spend a night watching movies with me.” He said grinning. “That would be lovely.” She sat down on the bed and watched as Dillon put on the movie and grabbed some popcorn. Dillon sat with his back against the headboard and Georgie sat between his legs leaning against him. They watched movies until they both fell asleep.
In the morning Georgie woke up with her head on Dillon’s chest and thought I need to go clean up before anyone gets home. She walked downstairs and saw that everything was nice and neat. Then she was surprised by hands wrapping around her waist. She turned around and said “Did you clean this up last night?” “Yeah I didn’t want Mac to come home a freak out.” He said smiling. “That is so nice of you.” Said Georgie “Anything for my girl.” He said kissing Georgie.

Chapter 4

Georgie stopped him before he could kiss her “What wrong Georgie?” “Well Dillon, we are together, but I don’t if I could trust you as much as I use to.” “Georgie…..” “No Dillon just here me out.” “Ok.” “I think that after the whole thing with your mom and sage I just don’t trust that many people anymore.” “Georgie I swear to you that I will never do a thing like that again.” “I know Dillon and I don’t expect you to trust me that much after the Tom thing.” “Actually Georgie, I understand what you did and why you did it, I would have done anything to get the person I loved back.” “Are you serious?” “Yes Georgie with Sage being around and the Tom thing I actually thought I lost you to another guy, but now I don’t even want to think about that I want to think about right here right now and our happy future together.” “How happy?” “Well I could see us getting a little house of our own and our kids running around the front yard.” Georgie laughed “What’s so funny?” “I just hope our kids are nothing like you,” “What,” “No I want them to be as loving as you but not into stealing motorcycles and kissing girls or boys they don’t even know.” She said laughing again. Dillon kissed her again and said “You know they wouldn’t because they would have a mother like you to keep them in line.” Dillon smiled. “So Georgie do we have the trust issue straightened out?” “Yeah but I am still trusting you to promise me.” “I promise my whole life.”
They walked into Kelly’s. Maxie saw them and Georgie walked over to her while Dillon got their drinks. “So tell me how was last night?” “How did you know about last night?” “Well that is why we went to the mall.” “So you knew?” “Yeah.” Maxie said laughing, just then Dillon walked up “I hate when you two do surprises for me!” They both laughed. Dillon and Georgie went walking in the park and just talked about everything that has happened since they were apart.
Dillon dropped off Georgie at her house and gave her a small kiss and left to go home. The next morning Georgie woke up and got ready to go to school. She took a different route to school this morning and she walked by the park and she heard Alcazars voice and stood behind a tree. “That’s so great Sage so you are coming back down here for school?” “Great I look forward to seeing you, bye.” “Love you too.” Georgie walked to Kelly’s to meet Dillon for breakfast, trying to figure out what she was going to do since school was only two weeks away, and from what she heard Sage would be here in about two weeks. Georgie was so tense that whole week and she knew that Dillon knew something was wrong but every time she asked him she denied it. “What is wrong Georgie?” “Dillon I told you nothing I am just stressing about the college preparation you know the letters and getting accepted.” “Ok Georgie.”
Georgie told Dillon that she wanted to spend some alone time with him, the first week before school started and Dillon agreed since they wouldn’t be bombarded by cops because Mac was going out of town the whole week, so they left that Monday, and went to a little country house that the Quartermaine’s rented out to people. “So why are you all about being with me this week?” “I just want to be with you Dillon.” She said kissing him, that night they did the usual and watched movies but then they went and got in the hot tub and Georgie sat on Dillon’s lap and said “Dillon I love you, you know that?” “Yeah Georgie and I love you more and more every day, nothing could change that.” Georgie kissed him and they went inside. “Georgie,” she heard a voice and opened her eyes “Good morning beautiful.” Dillon said kissing her nose. She yawned and sat up and she had on Dillon’s t-shirt. “Dillon I am going to take a shower.” “Ok I am going to go get some breakfast ok.” “Ok, see ya in a bit.” She gave him a kiss and he left and she sat for a while she took a deep breath and said “Georgie you are going to have to tell him sometime.” She got out of the shower and got dressed and went out into the living room to see Dillon sitting on the couch watching the news. She sat by him and he handed her a glass of milk and a pig-in-the-blanket. “So what are we going to do today?” “Well I had something planned and we need to get going if it is going to happen.” Dillon and Georgie got up and went to the Pen theater which was an open music amp theater. “Wow this place is beautiful, who are we seeing?” “Norah Jones, I don’t know if you like her but I just love her voice.” “Norah Jones I love her to death I wish I had a singing voice like hers.” Dillon laughed they sat on the blanket that Dillon laid out. Georgie sat in between his legs and they listened to Norah Jones and Dillon smiled when he saw Georgie mouthing the words. Dillon got up and went to get some drinks and this old man said “Hey boy is she yours?” “Yes sir she is.” “That’s mine over there,” Dillon looked over to where he was pointing and saw a old woman smiling at the man “Keep a hold of her, once you find a good one they are hard to find again.” “Yes sir I never plan on letting her go.” Dillon grabbed the drinks and paid and left to go sit with Georgie. “What took you so long?” “Oh nothing I was getting a little insight from a wise man.” Georgie looked at him and kissed him. “But I had already known that what this man said was true because I have found my one true love and plan on never losing her again.” Georgie smiled and they sat back and watched the rest of the show.

Chapter 5

Dillon woke up to the light streaming in his eyes. He looked at his surroundings and realized that yet again; he and Georgie fell asleep on the couch. In fact they only ever slept in the bedroom once. When he tried to get off the couch, he was pinned down because Georgie had fallen asleep on top of him. Last night Dillon had finally caved in and let Georgie pick the movie. She decided on “A Walk to Remember.” It was based on a book and they were watching a movie where she knew more about it then Dillon did. She also thought that Shane West was hot. Dillon thought that she liked him only because Shane reminded him of a certain person involved in her life. Just then Dillon had wiggled out from under Georgie. The sound of the water running was what actually woke her up.
Georgie had just got up from the couch when he walked out of the shower.

“What are you doing up so early” Georgie asked still half asleep.

“I have something special planned for us, so get dressed of we are going to be late”

Georgie begrudgingly obliged and got dressed. She decided to wear a denim miniskirt and a button down top because she wasn’t sure where they were going and she did not want to be too casual. An hour later, she was finally ready and Dillon was pleased with the results.

“You are breath taking, you know that” Dillon whispered as she came over to him

“Well, why thank you sir” Georgie said as if she was a southern belle

“My Lady, your Chariot awaits” Dillon said in his best English voice as he opened the door to reveal a chauffeured limousine waiting outside the house.

“Oh my gosh Dillon, how did you do all of this. You can’t possibly afford this on your salary at the Cellar” Dillon worked at the Cellar as an entertainer because his family did not want him to get too spoiled. Dillon received a lot of money from his grandparents this spring when he made the deciding vote in the battle for ELQ. He voted for his grandfather to retain control of ELQ over his mother.

Before Georgie could finish her sentence, Dillon kissed her passionately. It caught her completely off guard. Georgie don’t worry.

“I will explain everything on our way to our first stop.”

“Alright, but where are we going?”

“Ahh, that is for me to know and you to find out when we get there.”

After a four hour drive, the limo finally arrived in the middle of Central Park where a hoarse and carriage were waiting.

“Oh Dillon, this is wonderful; I’ve always wanted to take a carriage ride through Central Park. I love you so much”

When Georgie told Dillon that she loved him, his heart skipped a beat. That was the first time Georgie had uttered those words and it felt like the first time she said it all over again. He didn’t realize that he could love her anymore, but at that moment, his love grew for her.

He whispered,” I love you too” into her ear right before he kissed her in the carriage.

Georgie and Dillon spent the rest of the trip in each other’s arms as they took in the sights. After a little while the carriage stopped in front of the docks where a beautiful yacht was sitting.

“See that boat over there? Well that’s where we are eating”

“I can’t believe this Dillon, this is too much, and I love it”

When Dillon and Georgie stepped on the 70ft yacht, they were greeted by 7 staff members waiting to take care of them.

They were treated to a five course meal with salad and pasta and appetizers one better then the other. Even though they hardly spoke a word during dinner, they never broke eye contact. Their stare was so intense and just by looking at the two of them during dinner, you could tell the amount of love they shared for one another. Right before the dessert was supposed to come out, Dillon finally broke the intense silence.

“Did you like dinner?”

“Yes, it was incredible, and so are you for doing all of this for me. This night has been amazing.”

“The night isn’t over yet. I have one more surprise for you. Now come here and follow me” Dillon blindfolded Georgie before they left the table.

“Dillon, what’s going on?”

“You’ll see when we are there”

Dillon walked Georgie down to the master bedroom where he had lit candles all around and pink rose petals strewn all over the bed and floor. He had the staff set this up for them while they were eating and then almost all of the staff left for the night except the captain who was steering the boat.

“You can take the blindfold off now”

Georgie gasped as a tear streamed down her face when she was looking at her surroundings.

Before Georgie could express her feelings for what Dillon did for her, he kissed her. At first the kisses were slow but then they deepened and became more intense. They made their way over to the bed and Dillon tripped and fell on top of Georgie. They both broke out into laughter.

“Dillon, I love so much. I want you right now. I want us to be together tonight”

“I love you too Georgie, but are you sure about this?”

“More then anything else in my life” Georgie whispered right before she kissed Dillon.

As Georgie and Dillon were together for the first time that night, nothing else mattered to Dillon. Not the fights or Sage or Tom or anything else that tried to break them apart. For the first time in his life, he was truly happy and content. Georgie, on the other hand, loved Dillon more then anything but she knew she had to do whatever she needed to hold on to Dillon now, before Sage came back. She couldn’t deal with losing him a second time, especially her. So that night Georgie loved Dillon with everything that she had so she wouldn’t lose him again.


The next morning at Kelly’s

Dillon and Georgie walked over to a table outside and sat down.

“I want to thank you for everything you have done for me. Not just last night but everything that has happened. You were there for me when Mac was sick and you are still there for me now. You always know what I need and after last week, and especially last night; I don’t know if I could ever lose you again. I love you so much.”

“You don’t have to worry about losing me Georgie. I love you and I won’t ever do anything to make us break-up again.” Dillon reached over the table and kissed Georgie to reassure her that he was there to stay.

“Since you surprised me with that trip to New York City, I’m gonna buy us breakfast this morning. Bye baby, I love you”

Georgie left the table and felt a little relieved. Her and Dillon’s relationship was stronger then ever and Sage would never be able to break them up again.

Dillon had his back to the door and was daydreaming about the week that he and Georgie spent together. He was abruptly taken out of his dream when he felt someone hug him tightly and kiss him on the cheek.

“Hey beaut…” Dillon said as he turned around expecting to see Georgie. Who he saw was the last person he ever thought he’d see in he would see in his life again. Sage

Chapter 6

“What the hell are you doing here?” asked Dillon with a surprised look on his face. “What you didn’t get my message?” asked Sage. “No Sage I haven’t been home all week.” Georgie grabbed the food and started to walk out to where Dillon was but stopped at the door to listen. “So I was thinking we could start back where we were.” “Sage I don’t know what you were thinking about us getting back together but I am back with Georgie and your not going to mess that up ever again.” Sage rolled her eyes and Georgie walked out to them, “Hey Dillon I got the food lets go.” Dillon grabbed his coat and put his arms around Georgie, Sage glared at them as they started to walk away.
“God I cannot believe she is back,” Dillon said walking Georgie into the Quartermaine mansion. “She is going to try so hard to manipulate us.” Georgie sat down on the couch, “Dillon she won’t our love is stronger than ever and we know what kind of crap she likes to pull.” Dillon looked at Georgie and smiled he put a hand on her cheek and said “I know, I just wish I would have known she was coming back, I mean nobody knew….” “Dillon that’s not exactly true.” She said getting off of the couch. “Georgie what are you talking about who knew?” “Dillon I knew that Sage was coming, and that’s why I asked you to go last week with me.” “What, wait you just wanted me to go to the country house because you were afraid I would be with Sage?” Georgie didn’t say anything. “Georgie….” “Dillon I asked you to come with me because I wanted to prove that I could be everything Sage is……” “But Georgie your not everything she is…” “I know….” “Georgie you are more.” Georgie looked at Dillon and hugged him, “And you didn’t have to ask me just because Sage is coming back I would have gone even if I was sick as hell.” His last words made Georgie laugh. “So don’t worry because Sage will do anything but I will never like her after what she did, before she left.” With that Dillon kissed her to let her know he wasn’t lying.
“Maxie I don’t know what I am going to do.” Georgie said talking to her sister on the phone. “Georgie don’t worry, I know Dillon and you are his life and you always will be.” Just then Dillon walked in and listened to what Georgie was saying, “I know Max and I love him with every inch of my life, I am so happy that we are back together, you know to be truthful I think that I am going to marry him someday, no I don’t think, I know I will.” “Wow, Georgie who ever thought that a little unexpected kiss would turn this thing into marriage.” Georgie laughed and said “Ok well I am going to go talk to you later tonight.” “Ok, bye.” “Bye.” Georgie hung up her phone and turned around to see Dillon standing there, “How much did you hear?” “Oh enough…” Dillon said grinning. “Well I think I am going to go home since we have school tomorrow.” “Ok do you want me to walk you?” “Sure why not.” She grabbed her things and they walked out of the side doors. “Do you want to take the short way or long.” Dillon wrapped his arm around her waist and said “The long way.”
“So we still going to meet at Kelly’s for breakfast?” Dillon asked. “Of course, I will meet you there at 7:00.” “Ok.” Dillon kissed her and Georgie stood in the door way and watched until she couldn’t see him anymore and then went inside. “God Georgie you weren’t kidding.” Maxie said when she saw Georgie who was smiling. “No I wasn’t Maxie.” Georgie sat on the couch and smiled.
“Dillon…..Dillon.” Said Sage chasing him to Kelly’s. Dillon turned around “What do you want Sage?” “Can’t I just talk to you?” “Uh no because you always lie and you tell me the most pathetic stories in the world.” Dillon walked into Kelly’s and ordered a drink, not even listening to the words that were coming out of Sage’s mouth, he was thinking about how beautiful Georgie would look in a wedding dress all white and glowing. “Dillon…..” she said hitting him on the arm “you listening to me?” “What oh sorry.” Sage rolled her eyes and stormed out of Kelly’s. Dillon ordered some food and left.
Georgie was standing by her locker when she felt arms wrap around her waist. She turned around in his arms and put her arms around his neck, “I really enjoyed breakfast this morning.” “I don’t know why because you didn’t eat anything.” “No I was having fun watching you eat.” Dillon let go of her and she turned around and got a book from her locker and the first bell rang. “Ok I will see ya after school,” Dillon kissed her and said “Ok.” They went their separate ways. Georgie walked into her English class and was followed by Sage, “What are you doing in this class?” “I decided that I should take a higher class to get into a better college.” Georgie just turned around and listened to the teacher.
Dillon went to Georgie’s locker after school, but she wasn’t there. He called her cell phone. “Hey, where are you?” “Oh I’m sorry I am at the hospital volunteering.” “Dang did you run there after school or something.” “No I had to get out of there because Sage is like in everyone of my classes.” “What she’ll never make it?” “I know but I think she is trying to be like me to get you to like her.” “That will never work because no one will ever be the same as you, especially her because she is not that type.” “I know well hey I will talk to you later, I have to go collect the books.” Dillon laughed a little bit “Ok, I love you.” “Love you too, bye.”

Chapter 7

The next day,Georgie sat down in homeroom trying to finish the book she was reading in English. She hadn't seen Dillon since yesterday and even though she wasn't mad at him, she just needed a little space. “Ok everyone here are the nominees for the homecoming queens,” said the girl over the speaker, “First we have Sage Alcazar,” Georgie rolled her eyes and began reading again. “Stephanie Derocca and last but not least Georgie Jones.” Everyone in Georgie’s homeroom turned and looked at her. Georgie looked up from her book slowly with a look of shock on her face and thought ‘Me nominated?’ Then the girl announced the nominees for homecoming king, “The nominees for homecomming king are Bobby Johnson, Jay Rodriquez, and last but not least Dillon Quartermaine.” Dillon’s homeroom began cheering and a guy came up to him and said “Way to go dude.” Dillon just gave him a weird look and said “Thanks, I guess.” Homeroom let out and Georgie and Dillon both headed to the lunch room. Dillon saw Georgie sitting down and he sat his stuff down on the table. Georgie looked up and said"Congratulations Mr. Homecomming King." “Hey look who’s talking, my girl is going to be the hottest Homecoming queen yet.” He said sitting next to her and kissing her. After the broke from their kiss Sage walked up and said, “I just wanted to wish the both of you luck, on the homecoming court.” “Yeah, you to.” Georgie mumbled. Sage gave them both an evil smile and walked away, “Ok that smile tells me that she had something to do with it.”,Georgie said turning to Dillon. “Don’t worry about her, let’s eat some lunch.”

Georgie walked into the hospital and saw Maxie looking over some paperwork, “Hey Max you will never believe what happened to me at school today.” “What?” “Well I was nominated for Homecoming queen,” Maxie squealed and hugged her. "OMG that's incredible my sister is going to be prom queen!" “Oh theres more' Dillon got nominated for homecoming king but Sage is also nominated for Homecoming Queen.” Maxie rolled her eyes. “So you are going to let me help you right?” “Of course I am I need all the help I can get!” Georgie said laughing a bit. Georgie walked back into the waiting area rolling the rack of books. Dillon walked up behind her and kissed her neck, “How is my Homecoming Queen doing.” Georgie smiled,“I am not the homecoming Queen yet.” “Yeah but you will be.” Georgie turned and kissed him. “Well I should be asking how is the future homecoming king doing.” “I am fine, but not so sure that I will win, that Bobby Johnson is one hot guy.” Georgie looked up and sighed “Yeah he is.” Dillon mouthed dropped. “But not as hot as another nominee.” Georgie said laughing.Dillon said sarcastically "I didn't realize Jay Rodriquez was your type." "No dumbass, I was talking about you." Georgie laughed and kissed him again, “Could you guys get a room.” Said Maxie walking up to them"Well we are in a room", Georgie said sarcastically. “Are we ready to go ladies?” asked Dillon putting an arm around both Georgie and Maxie to separate them. “Yes lets go get something to eat.” Said Georgie.

Georgie and Maxie sat down at a table in Kelly’s not even noticing Sage sitting at a table behind them, “So Georgie what were you planning on wearing?” “Well I saw this dress a couple of days ago at the mall and it was the best dress I have saw yet.” “Ok we will have to go this weekend.” Georgie nodded and they began to talk again as Dillon came and pulled up a chair and kissed Georgie. Sage thought to herself, ‘I will be the last one laughing at homecoming’ she smiled to herself and grabbed her bag and left before they could see her.

The next day at school the announcements came on and they announced the two finalist for the homecoming queen and homecoming king, “We will be voting for homecomming ding and queen in homeroom this morning.Fill out the papers and hand them back to your homeroom teacher before the end of the period.” Sage smiled to herself and checked number one and six which were her picks for queen and king, which of course were Dillon and herself. Georgie checked he and Dillon's name and handed it to her teacher. Sage watched as the votes were locked in the faculty room and all the teachers left for first period. Sage walked over to the door made sure that no one was looking and picked the lock. She walked in and turned the light on. Sage grabbed the votes and saw they had been tallied.Georgie had won homecoming queen and Dillon had won for king. She found a pencil and changed the results so that she was queen and she walked out of the room and smiled. That day after school Dillon was waiting in the front of the school with Georgie for Maxie, when she got there,Dillon kissed Georgie and left to go home as Georgie got in the car with Maxie.

They stopped in front of a store window at the mall, “So that is the dress you wanted?” “Yeah.” She said as the looked at an off-white, strapless dress, that was flowing at the bottom with gold trim with a silk layer of fabric then a lace layer over that. They walked into the store and Georgie tried it on.The lwomen that was helping them said,“The dress fits you perfectly, you look like an angel.” Georgie smiled and they bought the dress and went home.After Dillon fiished all of his homework for the night, he picked up his cell phone and dialed Georgie’s number, Georgie picked up her cell phone and said “Hello.” “Hey baby.” “Hey Dillon what’s up?” “Well I was wondering if I could get a little presentation of what your homecoming dress looked like before anyone else sees it on you.” “Well Mr.Quartermaine, I can't show you, you will just have to wait until you pick me up tomorrow night.” Dillon groaned and said, “Ok fine, I am going to go to bed now, see you tomorrow beautiful.” “Ok love you.” “Love you too.” Georgie hung up her phone and went to sleep hoping that tomorrow would be the best day of her life.

Georgie and Maxie were sitting in the living room, “This day is going by so slow.” Georgie said moving, “Well if you don’t sit still you are going to get burned.” Georgie sat still and let her sister do her hair, Maxie fixed it where it was curled on top and straight on bottom. She was finishing Georgie’s makeup when the door bell rang, “ Oh,God he is early,” Georgie said walking over to her dress. “Don’t worry, just finish getting dressed but don't put the dress on until I get back up here.” “Ok.” She said putting some finishing touches on her makeup. Maxie opened the door and Dillon had on an all black suit but with a white tie making him stand out, “Wow you look really good Dillon.” “Thanks Max.” Dillon walked in and Maxie said “She’ll be down in a minute.” “Ok.” Maxie ran back up the stairs while Dillon sat on the couch playing with the corsage. A few minutes later, Maxie walked down the stairs and announced, “Introducing the future homecomming queen Georgie Jones.” Dillon stood up as Georgie walked down the stairs holding her dress, Dillon stood there in awe. Georgie shouted “Earth to Dillon.” to bring him out of his transe. Dillon shook his head and said, “Oh I’m sorry, you look absolutly amazing.” Dillon walked over to Georgie as she laughed. Dillon put her corsage on her hand and then kissed it, “Ok strike a pose.” “Oh Maxie do we have to?” “Oh come on Georgie.” Mac's working tonight and he wanted me to take pictures of how beautiful you look. Georgie and Dillon took funny pictures and then one where they were kissing and then one where Dillon was holding Georgie like they had just gotten married, Dillon put her down softly. “You ready to go dance the night away and win homecomming queen?” “Lets go.” Georgie and Dillon walked out of the door and Georgie saw a limo, “Oh Dillon you didn’t have to.” “Yes I did, only the best for you on our special night.” She smiled. Dillon always knew what to say to make her feel amazing. The driver opened the door and they both helped Georgie in and then Dillon got inside. Georgie knew that this night would be unforgettable but she didn't know how.

Georgie linked her arm around Dillon’s and they walked into the hotel, “This place is beautiful.” Georgie said as they walked inside, “Yeah but I know something more beautiful.” He said smiling and then kissing her softly on the lips.During the formal, they danced for a little bit,took pictures and then at the end of the night the homecomming court got ready for the announcements of the king and queen.They all processed onto the stage by couples. Stephanie and Bobby, Sage and Jay and finally Dillon and Georgie “The winner of the homecoming king is....... Dillon Quartermaine.” Dillon looked at Georgie and she kissed him quickly as he went up to the front of the stage and got the crown. “And the winner of the homecoming queen is,” Georgie closed her eyes and took a deep breath. “Sage Alcazar.” Georgie did all she could to hold back the tears, and she managed to clap her hands, Dillon smile turned into a frown and he sighed as Sage walked up to him and kissed him on the cheek. “Now the king and queen will share a dance together.” The rest of the homecomming court walked off the stage as Sage grabbed his hand and walked down the steps with him to the dance floor.The song started playing and Dillon was trying to look at Georgie but Sage grabbed his face and kissed him long and hard. Dillon opened his eyes and saw Georgie run out and he pushed Sage causing her to fall down. Everyone gasped, Dillon ran after Georgie but when he got outside he could not find her anywhere, then he saw that their limo was gone. Sage went outside and dialed a number on her cell phone, “Hello, its back on be at the docks in an hour.” “But how do you know?" “She just will, she was just hurt and she is going to go there to try and calm down somewhere she can be by herself.” “I thought you were not going to do this.” “I know but now I am.” Sage hung up her cell phone and walked to the docks.
Georgie got out of the limo and thanked the driver before he left. She sat down on the bench, watching the water,after a few minutes she heard Dillon yelling her name. Dillon walked around the corner and saw her sitting on the bench. “Georgie I was worried about you.” Georgie looked up at him and her mascara was running down her face, “Georgie I didn’t kiss Sage she kissed me.” “I know but it just all got to me, not winning and then seeing her smile at me like that and kiss you, I don’t know Dillon. When I saw her kiss you, I thought I was going to lose you and I don't know if I can go through that again.” “Georgie its ok, come here sweetie. You are never going to lose me again. I love you so much and no one is going to ruin it for us, especially that little tramp. Come here" Georgie came over to Dillon and he took her in his arms and gave her a short kiss on the lips to reassure her." Georgie, do you want to get out of here and salvage the rest of prom night?" Sure, I would love that. Lets go" As they started walking, Dillon saw someone out of the corner of his eye and did a double take. It was to late the gunman pulled the trigger and sent the bullet hurdling towards Georgie and Dillon.

Chapter 8

Georgie woke up after a few minutes and did not remember what had happened until she tried to sit up. She a horrible pain on her side and when she reached to touch it, her side stung and her hand was full of blood. When she finally sat up, she realized that there was blood all over her dress but not all of it could have been hers. There was blood spattered all over her beautiful crème dress.

“Dillon, Dillon where are you?” Georgie screamed fighting back pain. Her head started to throb and the pain on her side began to intensify. When she turned around, she saw him lying face down on the pavement a few feet away from her. She then crawled over to him and turned him over to see a big hole below his right shoulder oozing with blood.

“Baby wake up! Wake up Dillon!” Georgie started screaming at him. When she didn’t get a response from him, she crawled over to her pocketbook to get her cell phone and called 911.

“Hello, 911 emergency response, how may I assist you?”

Through sobs, Georgie started talking to the phone operator. “Hi, um my boyfriend and I have been shot … he is pretty bad, he is not awake or responding and I just woke up. We’re on the Port Charles Docks. We need help … please help me.” With that Georgie lost consciousness and collapsed on the docks right on top of Dillon.

Within 5 minutes, the paramedics arrived and started tending to Georgie and Dillon’s injuries and quickly loaded them into the ambulances on their way to General Hospital.


Meanwhile at GH…


Maxie was working the late shift tonight at the hospital so she could get out of the house and give her sister her privacy. She still helped out at the hospital two nights a week while going to PCU and working a part-time job near campus. When she helped at GH, it made her feel like she was doing something good to make up for all the things she had done wrong in her life. She was suddenly snapped out of her thoughts by Bobbie rushing over to her.

“Hey Bobbie, what’s wrong?”

“Could you page Dr. Quartermaine for me? We have two teens coming in with gunshot wounds and from what the paramedics said the boy is definitely going to need surgery. They said it looked like the bullet went through the boy and into the girl. I have to go down to the E.R and help because they are a little short-handed down there. Bye Maxie, and please have them paged immediately.”

Maxie didn’t hear the last part because the elevator doors had closed on Bobbie before she could finish her sentence.

“Dillon, I love you so much. You make me the happiest I have ever been and I never want to spend a day without you ever again.” “Georgie, before I met you; I never knew what love was. That day at Kelly’s changed my life forever and I could never thank you enough for it. We have gotten through so many obstacles to be together and I think that every road block in our relationship made us stronger in the end. Come here, you have something on your lips that needs to come off” He spoke those words before crashing his lips upon mine. We broke apart after a few minutes to get air. “I love you Dillon Quartermaine” “I love you too Georgie Jo..” His eyes went wide and his body jerked towards mine when his sentence was interrupted. “Dillon, baby; what’s wrong? Are you okay? He said nothing as his body went limp and slid to the ground. His face started going pail and that’s when I noticed a huge forming on his shirt. I ripped it open and saw that Dillon had been shot in the back and had just broken the skin on his chest. The hole was right over his heart. “Baby, wake up. You have to stay with me. I love you so much, don’t leave me” I was hysterical at this point that I was losing the person that mattered the most to me. “Georgie, I love you so much; goodbye my sweet angel” With that Dillon took his last breath and closed his eyes, slipping into a never-ending coma.

“Huhha” Georgie gasped as she jumped out of her medicinally induced sleep. For a few moments, Georgie looked straight ahead wondering why she was asleep in a hospital room. Then all of her memories came rushing back to her from the events of that night.

“O my God, Dillon; Dillon where are you?” Tears came to her eyes as she frantically searched for him in the dark room. She turned her around to the right and saw him asleep in the bed next to her. When she sat up and tried to get out of bed, a jarring pain went up her side. Georgie didn’t care what type of pain that she was in, she just had to get to Dillon. When Georgie reached his bed, she climbed in carefully not to mess up any of the tubes attached to him. “Baby, I love you so much. Never leave me, not even for a minute.” With that she laid down next to him and fell asleep.


“Dillon and Georgie are both very lucky, especially Dillon. The bullet entered Dillon shoulders, barely missing his lungs and major arteries and exited the right side of his chest. The bullet just grazed Georgie on her right side near her abdomen, but we will need to keep her overnight for observation; plus the fact that she needs to sleep off the sedatives we gave her, because she wanted to get to Dillon and not let us treat her. Dillon will have to stay a few days after he wakes up. Right now he is still unconscious and we do not expect him to wake up until at least tomorrow. It is four in the morning, I think that you should all go home now and get some sleep because it will be a long day for everyone tomorrow and the children will not be awake until tomorrow.” Bobbie finished her briefing to the Quartermaine’s and Scorpio’s.

The entire Quartermaine family was at the hospital, including Tracy; worried that Dillon was not going to make it. Mac and Maxie were sitting there listening very intently to what was going on. Maxie was sitting there quietly sobbing. This was supposed to be the best night of Georgie’s life and in fact it turned out that she almost died. She had not always been the closest with her sister but she couldn’t bear the thought of losing Georgie. She didn’t want anything bad to happen to Dillon to die either. If Georgie woke up but not Dillon, Georgie would be dead inside and she didn’t want that either. As she sat in her chair, while the adults spoke about something; she prayed to herself that both teens would make it through with flying colors and in a while , this entire experience will be nothing but a dream. As everyone reluctantly headed home, all of their hopes, hearts and monds were inside the room that held a sleeping Dillon and Georgie.

Chapter 9

An hour later Bobbie walked in and saw Dillon and Georgie asleep in the same bed with Georgie clutching Dillon’s arm. Bobbie walked over to the sleeping teenagers. She put her hand gently on Georgie’s arm and she quickly jumped out of her sleep.

“Georgie we need you to get back into your own bed.”

“No I want to stay with him, Dillon needs me” Georgie said still drowsy from the sedatives.

“Dillon had surgery Georgie and we need both of you to rest. He will be asleep for a while but I promise we will wake you up if anything changes sweetie”

. “Ok.” Georgie sat up from the bed moving slowly because of the pain, Bobbie helped her to her bed.

“We will make sure Dillon is alright, I promise” Georgie gave into the seditives and laid down on the bed and fell asleep.

The next day Georgie woke up to the sun shine shining on her face, a nurse walked in with a tray of food in her hands. “Bobbie wants you to eat something.” Georgie slowly sat up and the nurse moved the tray over to her.

“Thank you, do you know if my sister, Maxie is volunteering now?”

“Yes she is would you like me to send her in here?”

“Yes, please. I want to talk to her”

About ten minutes later Maxie walked in and said, “Sorry it took so long I had to do the regular book check.” She said trying to lighten the fact that her sister and Dillon were both still hurt and were in the hospital.

“Its ok Maxie, I understand.”

Maxie pulled up a chair to her bed, “So what happened?”

“Well Dillon and I were on the pier talking and then the next thing I know I’m on the ground with huge shooting pain in my side and then I saw Dillon face down on the pavement. I crawled over to my bag and got my cell phone out and called 911. Being on the phone with the operator, that’s the last thing I remembered before waking up here, that’s about it.”

“Georgie I was so scared when the two of you were brought in here last night. When I saw you lying on the gurney, I thought I was going to lose you.” Maxie said with her eyes tearing up.

“Maxie I’m fine,we need to pray for Dillon to wake up soon”

“I know, I have been praying for the both of you.”

“Do you know any news on him.” She asked hoping for good news on here boyfriend.

“Well Bobbie said that the surgery went really well and that he would be asleep for a couple of days but he will be fine.”

Georgie smiled and said, “I thought I lost him when I saw him lying face down on the ground not moving.”

“Well Georgie I think it was you who kept him alive. You’re his reason for living ” Georgie smiled at the thought of being Dillon’s reason for living.

A nurse walked in and said, “I don’t mean to interrupt but I need to change miss. Jones’s bandages. Miss Jones, if you rest today; you could be discharged tomorrow”

“Maxie got up and said, “I will be back after my shift is over ok. Mom had some errends to do and she will be in this afternoon and Mac will stop by after work to check on you”

“Ok, I’ll see you later Max”

Maxie gave her a hug lightly and walked out of the room. The nurse asked Georgie to turn on her side and then the nurse put on a new bandage. Georgie made sure no one was around and got in the wheel chair that was by her bed, she rolled herself over to Dillon and held his hand and started to cry.Georgie wanted Dillon to wake up so badly and she didn’t understand why someone would purposely shoot Dillon.

Maxie was outside looking in through the glass and Bobbie came up and said, “So how is she doing?”

“She is typical Georgie, she is so strong on the outside, but all of this is killing her inside. She will be a lot better once Dillon wakes up”

“Well I am going to go see if she needs anything.”

“Ok but hey Bobbie please don’t keep her away from Dillon she needs to be close to him.”

“Maxie she needs to rest, Maxie. Crying at Dillon’s bedside is not going to help her get better”

“Hey I know a way that you can keep her in bed and let her be close to Dillon.” Bobbie crossed her arms,waiting for anything Maxie was going to throw at her.

“You could move her bed to be next to him, that way she could stay close to him and stay in bed at the same time”

“Maxie that is a good idea I will get some nurses and we will move the bed later, but I have to get your mother’s approval first.”

Sage was sitting at a table at Kelly’s when her cell phone rang, “Hello?”
“Its Tracy,”
“Well Ms. Quartermaine were you satisfied with the out come of the plan?”
“Hello Sage, no I am not happy, I want to know why? My son was almost killed last night and Georgie Jones is still breathing,”

Sage almost dropped her phone. “What happened?”

“I don’t know but the guy you sent to get the job done shot my son and not Georgie.”

“Is Dillon ok?” she asked franticly, She was sitting there in shock from what she just heard. She hired her uncle’s best assailant to get the job done. How coud he have missed and hit Dillon. She thought to herself.



“Well he had to have surgery, but I don’t want you any where near him,”

“What, you can’t do that…”

“Hey calm down I don’t want you near him right now, there are too many people around him right now. People might get suspicious if you are around him a lot, and if anyone finds out we will both be dead.” Tracy hung up and Sage did the same, Sage left to find the gun man.

Later that night Georgie was laying in her bed, which now was right next to Dillon’s, she was holding his hand and drifted off to sleep. Tracy walked in and went to the other side of Dillon’s bed and started talking;

“Dillon why did this have to happen to you,”

Maxie stood at the door and listened to what Tracy was saying,

“Why, why couldn’t it have happened to her, you didn’t deserve this, this is all my fault, I should have never brought you here, I knew when we got here that something would have happen, I don’t know where I taught you wrong, I was always a good mother,”

Maxie was fuming from what Tracy said and walked to the waiting room to calm down . Maxie saw Tracy leave Dillon and Georgie’s room and she walked up to her, “Where do you get off saying that my sister should have been the one shot?”

“She should have, my son doesn’t deserve this.”

“Well neither one of them do. I know that you don’t approve of Georgie bu she is a good person and she and Dillon are in love. I can tell you right now that you don’t deserve to have a son like Dillon, he probably got shot because he was protecting the love of his life, and you were never a good mother to him, a good mom would never treated her child like you did and then just leave him with your sadistic, twisted family and in a town where he doesn’t know anyone. A good mother would never have done that. You don’t even deserve the title of ‘mom’ for the way you have treated Dillon all of these years”

“Oh and you’re the one to talk your mother left you,”

Maxie cut her off, “No my mom went to take care of her very sick grandmother, but she always called us and checked on us and now she is back and she has been back since the fire over a year ago, you come back to town when it is necessary and then leave again.” Maxie stormed past her and went to Georgie’s room.

Maxie sat down by Georgie and she started to cry, Georgie was woken up by this and she looked at Maxie and said, “Hey, hey Maxie its ok, come here.” Maxie got up and Georgie hugged her and said, “I am fine now.”

“I know Georgie but I am just afraid for Dillon,”

“But you said he was fine.”

“I know Georgie, but I kind of bent the truth.”

“Maxie what is wrong with him.” Georgie sat up and became very worried.

“Georgie, I over heard some nurses talking outside of your room and they said that Dillon is in a coma because he had some internal bleeding and he lost a lot of blood.”

Georgie started to tear up and when she closed her eyes, tears fell down her cheeks, “I thought Bobbie said he was going to be fine?”

“I know I asked her and she said that she did tell the family’s but she didn’t tell me or you because she doesn’t want you to worry, and she doesn’t want me to worry either.”

“So what is going to happen now?”

“Well they are going to keep him here and watch him, but Bobbie said that he is improving quickly and that he should wake up in a couple of days, but they don’t know for sure.”

“Maxie what is he never wakes up?” Georgie said screaming, Maxie held Georgie, sobbing uncontrollably and was shaking.

“He will, he will get better believe me, just stay here with him because he needs you. You’re his reason to wake up. Just talk to him and tell him that everything will be alright”

After a while Georgie calmed down and said “Thanks for telling me Max, I am going to go back to sleep.” “Ok Georgie, I love you and Dillon both.”

“I love you to, and so does Dillon. Georgie, Bobbie said that they are going to release you tomorrow, but they said that you could come back any time and visit Dillon. So get some sleep”

“I will bye Maxie”

“I love you baby, and I will be right here with you” Georgie reached over and gave Dillon a kiss on the cheek and held his hand and fell asleep.

When Georgie woke up the next morning, her bed was on the other side of the room again and Mac, Maxie and Felicia were getting her things together and signing her discharge papers. A nurse came in and helped Georgie get dressed and helped her into a wheelchair. The nurse was going to wheel her out of the room, but she made her stop so she could say goodbye to Dillon. Even though she was happy that she was going home, she did not want to leave him.

“ Hey baby, I have to go home today but I’ll be back soon. I love you so much. You have to wake up for me so you could go home too. Once we are both better, maybe we could take a trip to Manhattan or anywhere you want to go, but you have to wake up. I love you so much and I will be back soon.” With that Georgie kissed his cheek and Mac walked into her room.

“Sweetheart, we have to go”

As Mac wheeled he out of GH, she silently started to cry. She didn’t want to leave Dillon to fight his battle alone. She never took her eyes off of him as she was weeled away. Georgie couldn’t let go and she left her heart in that room to help Dillon fight his own battle to get back to her.
