Chapter 19

“Jason.” Susan called skipping into the penthouse.

“Johnny said you were all over here.” Emily smiled following her inside.

“Hey Emily.” Sonny smiled. “Were just about to sit down for dinner, your welcome to stay.”

“Thanks but I gotta run.” Emily replied.

“Did you have fun with Emily?” Jason asked.

“Yup.” Susan said with a smile that made him very uneasy.

“Call me later Liz.” Emily grinned.

“Emily Bowen Quartermain what did you do?” Elizabeth demanded knowing that look.

“What’s going on?” Carly asked walking down the stairs with Michael.

“That’s what we’d all like to know.” Sony shrugged.

“Nothing’s going on.” Emily feigned innocence. “I really have to go though, Family dinner. Can’t be late. See ya!” She added running out the door.

“So what did you and Emily do today?” Carly asked as they sat around the dinning room table.

“We played candyland with Jason’s stair mom.” Susan informed them pausing to take a bite of the chicken Jason cut up on her plate. “Then she hads to go to work. Then Zander came over and we played tag. He’s a real good chaser. Then we had a tea party with Grandma Lila. She let me have four cookies.” she grinned. “But I gave one to Mr Edward cause the cook wont lets him have none. Then we went to Grandma Lila’s garden and looked at all the pretty flowers. She gave me one see.” She said pointing to the rose Emily had pinned in her hair.”

“It’s very pretty.” Carly smiled.

“Sounds like you had a very busy day.” Liz added.

“Oh yeah, I almost forgot.” Susan began turning to her brother. “Zander said I should ask you to have a baby with Elizabeth.” She said causing Sonny to choke on his water. “Emily, Grandma Lila and I all think it’s a good idea too.” She offered.

“Why...why would Zander say that?” Elizabeth asked blushing fiercely.

“I’ll kill him.” Jason said annoyed.

“No You can’t!” Susan declared dramatically. “He’s a real good chaser and I like him.”

“Noone’s going to kill Zander.” Sonny assured her.

“So are you going to have the baby or not?” Susan asked impatiently.

“Yeah uncle Jason if you and Lizabeth have a baby that would be real cool.” Michael agreed.

“We’re not having a baby.” Jason replied shaking his head in annoyance.

“You never do anything we want to do.” Susan pouted. “Emily and I both want Elizabeth to be or sister so why wont you just marry her.” she demanded. “You’re the meanest brother ever.”

“You and Emily aren’t exactly a picnic.” Jason muttered annoyed.

“Come on Michael.” Susan said hooping out of her seat furiously.

“Where are we going?” Michael asked confused as he also climbed out of his chair.

“Your room.” Susan declared storming over to the stairs.

“Maybe Michael wants to stay for desert.” Jason said ignoring his glaring sister.

“We’re not talking to you!” Susan replied folding her arms over her chest.

“Sorry Uncle Jason but we’re mad at you.” Michael replied walking over to join his friend.

“Why are you mad at me?” Jason asked confused.

“Cause she says so.” Michael shrugged apologetically following her up the stairs.

“How the hell did she turn Michael against me?” Jason asked stunned.

“Go easy on the kid he’s not the first boy to be led around by a pretty girl.” Sonny laughed.

“Their five.” Jason said confused.

“It’s just a harmless crush.” Sonny grinned. “We’ll wait till their teenagers till we start worrying about it.”

“It’s kinda cute.” Carly laughed.

“Yeah real adorable.” Jason groaned banging his head on the table.

“What’s wrong?” Elizabeth asked.

“I just pictured Susan as a teenager.” He replied terrified.
