This is GH in my mind. Since I haven't watch in a year and some months I have no clue what's going on. It still bugs me that they aren't together so that's why I write so much. Anyway, this came to me the other day hope you all like it.
There are several changes. Elizabeth Summer Webber lives on the streets in Manhattan with her best friend Jackie Soulman. Abandoned by their parents at 14 both girls knew of the other but after one stupid and crazy night when they were 16 they became best friends. They both work scams and pick pocket to eat and to pay for a hotel room if they are lucky, to spend the night. This is the life they know and are comfortable with. They are both survivors and very sweet but they are little rough around the edges.
Elizabeth and Jackie don't look towards the future they just live each day as if it was their last.
Since living on the streets is extremely dangerous for females they tend not to trust other people nor anyone in authority, such as the police.

Prologue
Place: The docks in Sumter, South Carolina
Time: 10:00pm, Friday night
Three cars pull up. A a bunch of teenagers jump out of their prespective cars. Ricky, 16 and his girlfriend Drew slowly get out of Drew's Camero.
Aidan, Wendy and Christian, all 17 jumped out the back of Shane's jeep. Shane, 18 smiles sheepily.
"Is she here yet?" Shane asked looking around.
"Nope, she's probably scared." Drew states.
"Man, I got to take a piss." Adian exclaimed.
"Ah, please you'll do anything to pull that thing out." Christian laughed. All of a sudden a red car pulls up and Aidan waves it out of his way as he holds his penis in his left hand. The car goes around him and parks. Out jumps Summer and Joey, who are both 16. Summer smirks as she approaches her friends.
Drew and Ricky and leaning up against Ricky's Camero making out. Summer lets out a small laugh and walks towards them.
"Ok- anyone got any beer?" Summer smirks taps her small hand down on the front of Joey's car.
Joey laughs and walks over to Christian.
"We finished them all back at school; besides you've had enough." Drew says smiling at Summer. Summer shrugs and laughs slightly.
"I've got a cold one if you want it." Shane states as his ex-girlfriend approaches him. She looked beautiful. Wearing black ultra low-rise jeans that looked painted on. And her red tank top that exposed all of her washboard stomach to anyone who was interested in seeing it shimmered in the moonlight.
Her jeans were topped off by the small belly button piercing that she had done two weeks ago.As Summer approached him her black motorcycle boots crunched the gravel beneath her feet as she flipped her curly long hair out of her eyes. Her red pouty lips and smoldering eyes made him hard. Shane swallowed the lump in his throat. Why did they break up in the first place? He shook his head he couldn't remember.
Joey jumps on top of Shane's jeep and laughs. "Yeah, all you gotta do is roll over and shake that sweet ass booty." Joey laughs. Summer rolls her sapphire eyes.
"Thanks alot, asshole." Shane replies rolling his eyes.
"Anytime...Shane!" Joey laughs.
"This is gonna be sweet." Christian laughs.
"I'm glad I thought of it." Ricky laughs with his arms around Drew.
"You guys are animals." Drew states rolling her dark brown eyes.
"Hey, you been talkin' shit this whole time here; why don't you just shut your trap?" Ricky steps back angry glaring at his girlfriend.
Summer immediately steps up in front of Drew and gives Ricky a hard look. "Hey, hey, hey don't talk to my girl that way so take the stick outta your ass. And besides you know how it is. Nobody is forcing her to show up."
"Well, if she doesn't, how about you and me, Summer going back to the dance?" Shane smiles as he wiggles his eyebrows suggestively. He was hoping for more than just dancing.
Before Summer could reply. Ricky speaks up. "I gotta idea why don't you go back now?"
"Shut the fuck up Ricky I wasn't talking to you!" Shane clenched his fist. Summer was leaning up against Shane's jeep and shook her head.
"You know I don't dance." Summer turned and walked towards Ricky's car and jumped on top of the hood to sit down.
"That's true-Summer and dancing just don't mix." Aidan stated looking over at his friend.
Just as the words left Aidan's mouth a small car that looks more like a postal truck approaches the group. They all turned and start laughing.
"Did you order something from the post office?" Drew laughs walking over to Summer and them bump head gently as they both laugh.
"Oh, shit she works for the fuckin' post office?" Ricky laughs.
"Shh, shh, here she comes. Check out the ride!" Christian laughs.
The group watches as their newest classmate gets out of run down jeep. She lets out a breath unsure of what she's walking into. Jackie slowly gets out and looks around.
"Hi" She states shly.
"Hey, nice jeans did you get them from the Goodwill?" Wendy laughs. The group cracks up including Summer..
Jackie shrugs trying her best not to let their comments get to her. She wanted friends and if they would just accept her she would accept them. No matter what.
Jackie walks over to where Drew and Summer are. "You're late. Um-I thought I say be here at 10pm. Drew says looking down at her watch before leaning over and showing her watch to Summer. Summer nods before turning her back slightly and chuckles.
"When I say be here at 10pm, be here. Can you remember that next time?" Jackie nods.
Drew laughs and mumurs to Summer. "Like there be a next time." They both jump down from the hood of Joey's car and begin walking towards the docks.
Jackie sees that Summer is walking next to her. "Is she always like that?"
Summer smirks. "Always, so-" Summer wraps one arm around Jackie's shoulders. "Are you ready to fly?" She holds her arms out like a bird and begins to run to catch up with Drew.
Music by Mary J. Blige is blaring out of the speakers of Joey and Shane's car.
As the group walks along the docks Drew jumps on Ricky's back and she let's out a loud yell.
"YEAH!!" The group begins laughing again and shaking their head. As they approach the water tower Drew suddenly jumps off of Ricky's back.
"So, here's the deal. Your gonna jump from up there." Drew points up at the tower. Which stood up next to a five story building. "Into here, that's it you're one of us." She smirks looking at Jackie.
"You in?" She smiles a fake grin.
"Yeah." Jackie nods and smiles. "Good."
Jackie looks over at Summer and watches as the other female begins to remove her boots and jeans.
"Their just kidding, hell I'm jumping with you." Summer points up at the tower. Jackie swallows hard.
"Um, how deep is it?" Jackie asked wondering if she let this whole thing go to far.
Summer shrugs. "Don't really know-let's find out." She smiles. Sucker. Summer walks off towards the tower having taken off her boots and jeans she is only clad in a pair of black string bikini panties and her red tank top. The night air hardens her nipples and she glancing back at Drew holding in her laughter. Drew winks.
Shane swallows hard as Summer walks past him. He feels himself aroused as he tries to take his eyes off his ex's body and her hard nipples just begging to be sucked. He wanted to feel his tongue between her....why did they break up again? Damn if he could remember. Shane licks his lips and lets out a breath. He looks around at the group around him and adjusted himself quickly before any of them noticed the bulge in the front of his jeans.
Jackie begins to remove her jeans and sneakers and quickly hurried up to catch up to Summer. She wondered why Elizabeth went by her middle name and not her first. Jackie thought the name Elizabeth was just as pretty as the name Summer. Now the name Jackie was something else entirely, not cute or pretty just dull.
Jackie caught up to the pretty petite brunette and followed her up the ladder towards the tower. As they climbed higher Jackie felt her stomach do flip flops. Summer, Jackie noticed seemed calm as a cucumber. Wow. I wish I could be more like her. As they both approached the edge of the walkway next to the tower Jackie looked down then over to Summer who was standing besides her.
"Have you done this?" She asked wearily.
Summer put on small hand on Jackie's left shoulder. "Yeah, we've all done this." As Jackie looked down at the dark water below she heard Summer's sweet voice.
"Okay, on three, okay?" Summer smiled placing her hand back on Jackie's shoulder.
"One, two, now THREE!" Summer pretended to jump but held back. But it was too late for Jackie. She was headed towards the cold dark water below as the group cheered.
When she hit the water with a loud THUD. She couldn't hear a sound and if she did she would have heard Summer and the group laughing and clapping their hands.
After a minute the group on the ground noticed something was wrong and began to yell.
"OH shit, Summer somethin' wrong! She isn't moving!"
"Do something, Christian!" Wendy yelled. Before the group could react Summer slid down the side of the trouble and jumped into the cold water.
As Summer swam towards Jackie. She grabbed the unresponsive girl with her left arm. And began to pull her towards the docks.
"One of you muther fuckers help me!" Summer yelled Shane jumped in and helped Summer bring Jackie onto the docks.
Suddenly a voice yelled out of nowhere. "What ya'll doin' down there!" It was the tower's security guard. His flashlight flooded the darkness.
As he began to run towards the group he clicked on his radio for backup. "We got some trespassers down here at Old Creek Tower. I need backup, get a squard car out here, NOW!"
"Oh, shit! Let's get outta here!" Wendy yelled. "Forget about HER!" She yelled at Summer and Shane. Shane pulled Jackie fully onto the docks as Summer pulled herself up and out of the water. She settled on the docks for a minute as her friends began to scatter.
"GO! Get out of here!" She yelled at Shane.
"But, Summer-" He began. "NO! get outta here!" Shane turned and began to run. He didn't want to leave her. But he also didn't want to go to jail either.
"I told you not to do this!" Wendy yelled at Drew and Ricky as they all ran for their cars.
"You'll be okay. I'm sorry we didn't mean for this to happen. Open your eyes, okay?"
Summer stayed next to Jackie until she opened her eyes and once the girl did Summer took off running towards Joey's car. That's when she noticed that Joey wasn't in his car. He must have gotten freaked out so badly that he just left his car where he parked it. As Summer gathered her things she ran towards the car hoping Joey didn't take the keys with him. She let out a breath when the car door opened. The keys were in the ignition. Big problem though Summer didn't know how to drive. But she started the car anyway and began to speed out away from the docks. The cops arrived and she cut them off. They suddenly turned their squad car around and they were hot on her tail. The previous rain earlier in the day made driving on the grass surrounding the area difficult. The ground was slick.
"SHIT!" She murmured as the squad car caught. Driving right besides her the cop glared with anger seething from his eyes. All of a sudden the squad car sped up and cut Summer off which sent her head on into a huge barrel of sand. BLAM! The barrel exploded sent the contents straight into the air to ran down on both cars.
Summer sat behind the wheel coughing as the police officer walked up towards her shining his flashlight in her face. She made a face. Her forehead began to ache. She had hit it against the steering wheel when she ran into in the barrel.
"Hands on the wheel." The officer demanded watching the petite brunette closely. She didn't look like she was old enough to drive let alone be out this late at night. Summer let out a breath and sighed.
Next morning.
Jeff and Heather Webber were sleeping in the hotel room bed that they had rented for the week. Jeff had robbed a woman in other town earlier that week; which made it possible for them to rent the room. Since Jeff and Heather were both addicted to coke they were always on the move. Going from place to place never settling down to properly raise their only daughter, Elizabeth Summer. So, Elizabeth actually raised herself. She hid the fact that her parents were addicts telling school officals that her parents were doctors that traveled alot and that's why they never attended such things as parent/teacher night. Until now she hadn't done anything really that bad except skip school, drink beer and smoke. Nothing that would alert an official to call in her parents. Until now.
They held her down at the police station until she told them how to locate her parents. And when she heard her dad's loud voice she lowered her head in shame when they appeared. Jeff and Heather showed up both high as a kite.
"What the FUCK did you to little girl? Why can't you just be normal, huh? Jeff asked with disgust dripping off each word.
Heather sat quietly staring down at her shoes then she began to giggle. Elizabeth looked over at her mother and shook her head.
"ANSWER me little girl, what the fuck did you do?" Jeff demanded. "I oughta slap the living shit outta you!" He raised his hand.
Elizabeth remained silent and braced herself for the hit. But it never came. She looked up and saw a police officer had grab her father's arm.
"Don't you dare hit her!" The officer growled. Jeff snatched his arm back. "You need to mind your own business, that's my kid and I'll do as I please with her!"
"Not in here you won't! Or I will put YOUR ass in jail!" The word jail made Elizabeth's ears perk up. If they put Jeff in jail-no she couldn't let that happen. No matter how he treated her. He was still her father. Her only father.
"Don't-please don't put Jeff in jail. This is all my fault, he's just tired of all the shi..I mean crap I put him and Heather through." Elizabeth pleaded with her eyes for the officer not to anger Jeff further.
The police officer glanced over at the blond and he could tell she was in her own little world. Giggling as she stared at her hands and feet.
The police officer looked at the petite brunette and his heart broke. "Is there something you would like to tell me? I can help you, Elizabeth. All you need to do is tell me." Tell me that your parents are junkies and I will have you removed from them tonight.
Elizabeth swallowed hard. She knew what the cop wanted. He wanted to get her away from Jeff and Heather. Elizabeth shook her head, if that happened she would'nt have anyone.
Before Elizabeth could reply. Jeff spoke up. "Listen, is my kid under arrest or what? If not you gotta let her go NOW!"
The officer let out a breath and closely watched Elizabeth. "No, she's not since she under age. But..."
"But nothing, you can't hold her so she's coming home with us. Get your shit, little girl!" Jeff growled as he pulled a giggling Heather to her feet.
"Elizabeth Summer-" The officer began but Elizabeth held up her hand. "I'll be fine, I always am." With that said he watched the petite girl walk out of the station to an uncertain future. And there wasn't a damn thing he could do about it.
Later that day
Elizabeth woke up from her spot on the floor. As she stretched she pulled back her blanket as her eyes drunk in the room around her. Elizabeth felt unnerved by the quiet and began to get up. She was used to Heather and Jeff fighting over who would do the last line of coke but they were no where to be found. Elizabeth reached into her pocket and pulled out her small pager. If had to hide it because if Jeff or Heather knew she had anything of value they would sell it for coke. The small pager blinked that she had five messages. "Must be the gang." Then her mind wander to thoughts of Jackie. She wondered if the girl was okay. The thought flew out of her head when her stomach began to growl.
"Heather?- Jeff, are you in the bathroom?" When she received no answer she walked into the bathroom and showered. Her parents were probably out trying to score. After Elizabeth dressed she decided to go down to the front desk and see if the front desk clerk would let her use the phone again. She wanted to call Drew to see if she was okay.
The weekend past without Elizabeth seeing either Jeff or Heather. It didn't bother her though. They always disappeared for days at a time even weeks. Elizabeth would pull scams in order to make money and give the money to the front desk manager saying it was from her Mother and Father. She would make up an excuse for them not giving the manager the money themselves. So at least she could at least keep a roof over her head. When Monday rounded around Elizabeth Summer went to school. She smiled as she approached her friends.
"Hey, Summer, you okay?" Shane asked with concern. "How's the head?"
Elizabeth smiled. "It's okay, good thing I have a hard head, huh?"
"Looking at Shane there's another head that's hard around here, huh Shane?" Joey laughed.
"Shut up!" Shane demanded.
Elizabeth rolled her eyes and walked over to Drew. Just then a voice bloomed over the loud speaker. "WILL ELIZABETH SUMMER WEBBER PLEASE COME TO THE PRINCIPAL'S OFFICE."
"Oh shit!" Elizabeth growled. "What the fuck does he want?"
Drew shook her head. "Sorry"
"It's okay, I'll be back." The group watched as their friend walked towards the entrance in the school and they all shook their heads.
Principal's office
Mr. Capital stared at Elizabeth and shook his head. Elizabeth sat before him with a bored look on her face until the Principal pulled out six empty bottles of beer.
"These belong to you?" He asked as he watched the brunette carefully. Elizabeth's eyes widened slightly and she shifted in her chair.
"Your lucky, your not in jail Summer but keep doing what you've been doing and you will be."
She smirked.
"Stop this behavior now Summer, because it's only going to bring you a world of trouble."
Elizabeth shrugged. "Can I go now?"
"You're smart Summer don't let those other kids bring you down. You have a chance to be more. Your art skills for example. One day you could be a famous artist, I hope you know that."
Her eyes softened for a slight second then she shrugged.
Mr. Capital looked down at the file in front of him. All of it concerned Elizabeth Summer Webber. "I wanted to let you know I signed you up to volunteer your time at the hospital were Jackie Soulman is recovering." Elizabeth's mouth dropped open.
"You gotta be kidding me?" She asked with furrowed brows.
"No, I'm not. And you will volunteer the rest of your time with Ms. Jenkins, the art teacher. She needs extra help."
Elizabeth twists her lips and taps her foot.
The principal leans over his desk. "I'm giving you a chance. Don't blow it Summer."
Later that day
Elizabeth arrives back to the hotel and walks up the flight of stairs to the rented room. Passing hookers and the johns outside Elizabeth was glad to closed the door and lock out the outside world. Just as she closed the door she noticed a note laying on top of the bed. She slowly walked over to it and picked it up. It was in Jeff's handwriting.
Summer,
We can't handle your shit any longer. It seems the older you get the more trouble you are. And we don't need or want that crap in our lives anymore. So, you're on your own kid. By, the way we never told you why we named you Elizabeth Summer, did we? Well, it's cause you were born in the late summer of 1984. But nine months before we had just scored something serious shit, but your mom refuse to use any because of you! She found out that she was knocked up.And I told her then I was gonna name you summer as a reminder to her to take her birth contol pills. You seriouly FUCKED up our entire summer. So, good luck kid.
Jeff
As Elizabeth read the note she sank to the floor and cried for the first time in her life.
