Title: Not Of My Blood, Nor Of My Bone Chapter: Prologue Disclaimer: I do not own General Hospital or have any affiliation to ABC the GH characters or story lines. Pairing: For now mainly Jason/Elizabeth but may add more as the story progresses. Author's notes: This takes place after the panic room incident but a few changes have been made. Elizabeth managed to release Carly from the panic room before passing out and the two have managed to start a friendship. Courtney and Carly have been on the outs since Courtney lost the baby. Jason ended things after the miscarriage and since then Courtney has begun to lose all sense of rationalization and is now your basic bitch which of course causes a lot of problems between everyone. Any other changes will be explained as the story progresses.
Sonny looks around the house that Ric and Elizabeth had shared and making their way through the living room he tries to avoid the taped up boxes that have been labeled in permanent marker. Finally making his way over to the couch carrying a open box that Elizabeth had managed to put together for him containing many of the files that Ric had in his office he took a seat and started to flip through the files scanning the documents they contained. Most were letters from his father Trevor Lansing and Sonny stopped to read a few of them realizing that most of them portrayed him as a troubled selfish child who seemed to loathe his mother and Sonny shook his head. He never loathed his mother, he loved his mother Adella. He had even named his first…
“Oh, Sonny, I’m sorry I didn’t realize that you were here.” Elizabeth said breaking into his thoughts and he stood quickly a little startled and in the process knocked over one of the boxes that had yet to be taped sending its contents crashing to the floor.
“I’m sorry Elizabeth I hope I didn’t break anything.” Sonny frowned starting to pick some of the objects up and place them back into the box.
“It’s okay I didn’t mean to scare you I actually just came by to get this box, it’s the last one of mine.” She laughs helping him gather everything back in the box.
Sonny’s eyes widen as they land on a picture in a wooden frame that has fallen out of the box. A much younger Elizabeth is standing next to a very pregnant young woman with mocha brown skin and long black hair with her hand on the woman’s belly as she stared in wonder and awe at the woman.
“Sonny, are you okay?” Elizabeth asks with concern before looking at the picture he’s concentrating on and smiling a little. “That’s my aunt Chandra. She was my mom’s adopted younger sister. She’s eight months pregnant with my cousin in this picture.” She explains the picture to him.
“Chandra? How old was she?” Sonny asks looking up at her.
“She was eighteen when that picture was taken. She had just moved in to live with my family. I really didn’t know her well before though she and my mom got along about as well as Sarah and I do.” Elizabeth says with a small laugh as she takes the picture and puts it in the box.
“You and she must have been close.” Sonny comments picking up the box for her as he stood.
“Not really, I just have that picture because that was the first time I felt my cousin respond to me, and me and my cousin are really close.” She explains standing also and taking the box as he hands it to her.
“Your cousin, I didn’t know that you had a cousin.”
“Yeah, she’s who I visit when I disappear from town so often. She’s also the reason I was so unhappy when I moved here to Port Charles.” She comments and Sonny looks over at her with confusion.
“What does your cousin have to do with you being unhappy?” He asks.
“Well when she was born her mom went right back to work and so I was taking care of her all the time. I practically raised her, but then when my mom decided to send me here I had to leave, and that was really hard on the both of us, I mean with the way that our parents were we kind of depended on each other and we were our own family…” She says her voice filled with longing.
“But you still see her a lot.” Sonny says trying to bring up her mood.
“Yes. I’m actually going to visit her tomorrow.” Elizabeth smiles, “Well I should go I just needed to get this box.” She walks over to the door. “Just don’t forget to lock up.” She calls out before turning and leaving.
Once she’s gone Sonny pulls out his cell phone and calls Benny who picks up almost immediately.
“Benny, I need you to find all the information you can get on a Chandra Summers, she’s Elizabeth Webber’s aunt. She has a daughter also, get all the information you can on her too.” Sonny says before ending the call.
“What was that about?” A voice asks from the doorway and Sonny turns to face the questioning blue eyes of his partner Jason Morgan.
“I’m having Benny get some information on someone for me.” Sonny says simply.
“Elizabeth’s aunt,” Jason says knowingly. “I heard, but why?” he asks.
“I think I know her aunt. She looks exactly like one of the girls that used to work on the club on Courtland Street, the same club that I used to own and before that I worked there.”
”You think that Elizabeth’s aunt was a stripper.”
“Maybe…” Sonny says staring blankly at the wall.
“There’s more to this Sonny, what is it?” Jason asks with a frustrated sigh.
“Look for now, I just need to find out if she’s the same woman I’m thinking of then if she is we can talk to her and find out more.” Sonny says not wanting to explain everything at this point.
“It might be hard questioning her aunt considering she died three months ago.” Jason says before turning and walking out leaving Sonny standing there with a shocked expression on his face.

Title: Not Of My Blood, Nor Of My Bone Chapter: Chapter One Disclaimer: I do not own General Hospital or have any affiliation to ABC the GH characters or story lines. Pairing: For now mainly Jason/Elizabeth but may add more as the story progresses. Author's notes: Thank you for all the feedback this chapter establishes more of the story between Sonny and Elizabeth’s aunt. The next chapter will have more Jason in it I promise but it will be a couple more before Liason interaction.
Elizabeth walked through the halls of the New York apartment where her aunt and cousin had lived with her aunt’s husband and she raised her fist knocking on the heavy wooden door and waiting impatiently as she heard a male voice grumbling on the other side. Once the door was swung open she looked in disgust at Jared Madison, her aunt’s former husband standing there with beer in his hand dressed in a t-shirt and sweatpants and it was obvious that even though it was well into the afternoon he had just woken up.
“Where’s Marty?” Elizabeth asks irritably pushing past him to get inside and looks at the living room in disgust when she sees that the floors are covered with empty liquor bottles and the place is in absolute ruins.
“Hello Elizabeth, make yourself at home…” Jared says sarcastically taking a long drink of his beer.
Elizabeth ignores him and walks to the small room that she knows is her cousin’s and raises her hand knocking gently on the door. “Marty? It’s Elizabeth are you in there?”
“Good luck finding her in there.” Jared waves his beer and then finishes it and tosses it on the floor with the rest of the empty bottles.
Elizabeth continues to ignore him and opens the door to Marty’s room looking her eyes widening when they land on the open window there and she quickly scans the room noticing that not only is she not there but some of her clothes are missing and the picture frame that had once held a picture of the two of them is broken and the picture is no longer there. Rushing back out of the room Elizabeth glares at Jared grabbing the beer from his hand despite his protests.
“When was the last time that you saw her?” She demands.
“A couple of nights ago she was playing that damn guitar of hers and it was distracting, I was trying to watch the game so I went in there and yelled at her.” Jared shrugs.
Elizabeth goes back into the room and frowns seeing the smashed guitar and her eyes widen when she notices traces of blood on it and she carries the guitar back out angrily.
“Yelled or beat her up until she got the message?” Elizabeth says accusingly glaring at him.
“I wouldn’t go throwing around accusations like that when you’ve got absolutely no proof, I wouldn’t worry too much, I have someone I know out there looking for her right now and I’m sure that they’ll find her and bring her back.” Jared says rising with a smug smile.
“If when she gets back she tells me that you’ve put one hand on her I swear that I will have you sent to jail for a very long time.” Elizabeth warns before storming out.
Once she’s gone Jared walks over to the phone and picks it up dialing a number and waiting until the person on the other line picks up. “Hey it’s me…did you find her? Good, rough her up if you have to just make sure that when she gets back here she doesn’t go crying to her cousin about me knocking her around...yeah you do this and you don’t owe me any money from last weeks poker game...Bye.” Jared hangs up and then takes another long drink of his beer.
.~.~.~.~.~.
Benny entered Sonny’s penthouse watching as Sonny stand his eyes filled with anticipation as he looked at Benny and filled two crystal tumblers with scotch, taking one and offering the other to Benny who accepted it and looked with caution into his boss’ expectant eyes.
“Well, did you find anything?” Sonny asked.
Benny hesitated and let out a sigh, “I found out as much as I could but before I tell you what I’ve got just answer one question for me Sonny,” he took a long drink feeling the liquid burn as it slid down his throat. “Why now? It happened almost nineteen years ago why this sudden interest to open all those old wounds?” Benny questioned.
“Eighteen years, it happened almost eighteen years ago not nineteen and I need to get more information about what happened. I need to know if there is a possibility that they could have lived through that fire.” Sonny says ignoring the look of disbelief that he is getting from Benny.
“What? You can’t be serious, Sonny. Jolene was important to you I understand that I mean no one ever really gets over their first love but she died eighteen years ago don’t you think that if she would have survived the fire that she would have shown up by now?” Benny argues.
Sonny looks at him with a sigh of frustration. “What if she didn’t want to show up?” He challenges and Benny shakes his head in confusion.
“You mean if she faked her death? You two were in love and about to have a baby together why would she even want to do that?”
“I don’t know, I’m not sure but it’s still possible.”
”But not likely,” Benny says.
“What about Brenda, Carly, or even Lily for that matter all of them were women that I cared about and all of them let believe that they were dead at one point.”
Benny sighs growing more and more irritated. “Lily is dead the woman who pretended to be her was a hired imposter as for Carly and Brenda I can’t explain them but Sonny most people who die stay dead.”
“Did you even look at the pictures of the woman that I asked you to get information on along with the information about Jolene?”
“No.” Benny says in confusion and takes out the thick file. “I didn’t go over any of the pictures or documents I just talked to the sources.”
“Well look at the picture.” Sonny says walking over to the desk with Benny as he looks through the file and finally takes out a picture of a young woman and his eyes widen.
“This is…that’s impossible.” Benny says staring at the headshot of a woman smiling at him her dark brown eyes hauntingly familiar along with her facial features, silky black hair, mocha skin and full lips. “This woman…she looks…I mean she’s almost identical to…”
“Jolene.” Sonny finishes for him. “That’s why I called you.”
“I didn’t realize that one had to do with the other, I thought that you just wanted information on this woman and her daughter because they were related to Ms. Webber.”
Benny explains. “I didn’t know that you’re interest in her and Jolene’s death had anything to do with one another.” He says apologetically.
Sonny simply nods waving his hand dismissively. “It’s fine.” He says finishing his scotch and setting the glass back down before turning toward Benny. “Now here’s my question to you, is it possible that Jolene could have been lying about her name?”
“It’s very possible, we didn’t exactly do background checks at the club Sonny you know that, lots of those girls were probably lying about who they were.” Benny said as he thought back to the night that Jolene had entered the club he was going over business matters that night and the only reason that he even noticed the girl was because of how out of place she had looked. Sonny at that time had been the right hand man to his boss and everyone knew that Sonny would someday become very powerful in the business himself included.
Benny also watched as the younger man instantly seemed to be intrigued by the woman who had walked into the club that night and after a couple of months had been one of the best girls that the club had. Over the next year Sonny and the woman that they had come to know as Jolene Jamison fell in love and got married, then six months later she was pregnant and Sonny was also starting to take over more and more at the club and in the business. Not long before the baby was supposed to be born there had been a fire at the home where Sonny and Jolene lived and both she and the baby had died. After that incident Sonny through himself into the business so that he didn’t have to face the pain of losing his wife and child, and they hadn’t even spoken about it until now.
Sonny turned his back now facing Benny and he let out a long sigh. “She wanted me to promise her that I would leave the club, and the business she was scared she thought that I would be putting our child’s life in danger…that night before the fire we had a huge fight about it and that’s why I left I needed to get away for awhile and then when I came back the whole building was destroyed…” He said his voice full of emotion.
“You think that she did all of this just so that she could leave with the baby and not have to worry about you looking for her?” Benny asks not wanting to push the matter but also needing to know more about what happened so that he could help Sonny find out more.
“I never did before. Hell I never even questioned the fact that she was dead, I just thought that it was my fault that I should have been there that night. I never believed that she wasn’t dead.” Sonny says turning back around and walking over to refill his glass.
“Did she ever mention any family to you at all, anything that we could use to get more information?” Benny asks handing his glass to Sonny also that it can be refilled.
“She told me that her parents had died in a car crash and she ran away because she didn’t want to have to go live with her uncle but that was all she said she didn’t like to talk about her past or her family at all and I never pushed about it, I know what it’s like to not want to talk about your past.” Sonny shrugs handing Benny back his glass.
“What do you know about the woman that you think is her?” Benny questions.
“She’s Elizabeth’s aunt Chandra Summers, and she disappeared for a couple years then showed up again pregnant about eighteen years ago when Elizabeth was about six years old, and Jason said that Emily mentioned to him about three months ago that Elizabeth went to Manhattan for the funeral.” Sonny says walking over to where Benny is flipping through the documents that he has managed to find and he looks at Benny with amusement. “You didn’t go over these things before coming to see me?” he grins.
“No, you said that you wanted me here right away so I got the documents, talked to some sources then came straight here.” Benny explains then continues, “She died while working the late shift at a diner that she owned and there was a hold up and she was shot. She lived about three blocks away with her husband and daughter.”
“Daughter,” Sonny said his voice filled with hope at the possibility of being the father that he was never given a chance to be.
“Yes, Martha Summers but when I talked to her old principal she referred to her as Marty, anyway she’s seventeen years old but is already graduated from high school. She graduated two years early with a 4.0 grade point average. She was given the opportunity to go to college on scholarship but instead went to work at the diner that her mother owned, when I asked the principal about this he said that both she and her mother seemed to think that college was a good idea but her step father was totally against it and the mother didn’t seem to fight with him about it.”
“What about a birth certificate did you get one of those?”
“Yes…it’s in here somewhere…” Benny says looking through the papers and finally pulling out the birth certificate and looking over it his eyes wide.
Sonny grabs it from him and reads it aloud. ‘Name: Martha Adella Summers…Mother: Chandra Summers, Father: Michael C.” He says his voice trailing off as he looks over at Benny. “I’m the father.”
Benny nods smiling at his stunned boss and looks through the file finally pulling out a school picture. “Here...” He says and Sonny takes the picture his eyes watering as his finger runs over the facial features staring back at him. Her dark brown eyes lit up as she smiled and her black wavy hair was about shoulder length and had mocha brown skin that was a little darker than his own, but lighter than her mothers.
“She’s beautiful…” Sonny trails off as Benny’s phone rings.
Benny nods and then answers his cell talking in a hushed voice and after hanging up looks over at Sonny his eyes filled with worry and Sonny waits for him to say something.
“Sonny that was my friend at the NYPD he’s the one who was helping me get information and well about ten minutes ago Elizabeth Webber came into the station and filed a missing persons report for Marty.
Sonny nods and walks over to the desk writing a note for Carly and he looks up at Benny.
“Tell your friend to keep Elizabeth there, and then make the arrangement for a car you and I are going down there.”
“Sonny do you really think that this is the best idea you haven’t talked to Carly about having a daughter and Elizabeth has no clue that you’re her cousins’ father maybe we should take some time and think about things.” Benny tries to reason.
“No! Benny I’ve wasted almost eighteen years I’m not wasting any more time, no one will stop me from getting to know my daughter. So are you going to help me or do I have to find someone else?” Sonny asks his eyes filled with determination.
“I’ll have a car here for us in about ten minutes.” Benny says giving into Sonny’s orders.

Title: Not Of My Blood, Nor Of My Bone Chapter: Chapter Two Disclaimer: I do not own General Hospital or have any affiliation to ABC the GH characters or story lines. I do however own the characters Marty Summers, Chandra Summers/Jolene Jamison and also Jared Madison Pairing: For now there aren’t any but it will be Jason/Elizabeth Author's Notes: The Emily cancer story line isn't really a part of this story, she's just returned to town and her and Zander are happy together. The Cassadines aren't broke and Stefan has returned to town with the hopes of manipulating Nikolas who seems to be more defiant and stubborn than ever before.
Taking in the view at Vista Point, Jason finally had a chance to relax. He needed time to himself which is something that Courtney just refused to understand. She was always there, always trying too hard to make him talk about things that he didn't want to talk about. He knew that agreeing to give things with her another chance had been a mistake, but he thought that by doing that she would no longer bother him constantly; asking him when he was going to forgive her and give her another chance, but getting back together hadn't been enough for her and now only two weeks after giving their relationship another chance she was talking about how they should start planning their wedding, a subject which managed to cause Jason a painful migraine.
Vista Point was his sanctuary, a place where he could collect his thoughts; he was able to feel and not have to justify those feelings to anyone else. It was a very important place because it also held the memories of his time with Elizabeth. She had always been the one woman in his life that never told him what to feel, she simply let him be. Closing his eyes he let those memories flood his senses and immediately felt at ease.
So consumed by his thoughts he didn't hear the struggle in the distance until someone screamed. At that moment he immediately became alert and knew that the scream had come from the area near the statue, he ran there quickly his stomach lurching at the sight before him.
A older man with his pants halfway down was pinning a struggling teenage girl down. He had a sickening smirk spread across his face as he used his free hand to rip off her panties. Knowing the horrible fate that would befall upon this girl if he didn't do something, he threw the man off of her and looked in concern at the girl who was cowering away.
Once her attacker got over his initial shock he pulled went to reach for what Jason knew had to be a gun and he quickly reached for his own gun first sending a bullet straight through the man's heart.
Looking back he saw the girl huddled in the corner hugging her knees which were drawn up to cover her bare chest and he removed his leather jacket slowly kneeling down a couple feet away from her and he started to inch towards her but she cowered back in fear her black hair creating a curtain around her face.
"It's okay I'm not going to hurt you I promise," Jason says gently setting his jacket down. "You can put that on…" He offers looking away and swallowing hard as he feels his chest constrict in pain for the scared teenager.
Slowly inching towards the jacket she takes it and slides into it before going back hugging her knees to her chest.
After a few minutes he finally hears the zipper of the jacket and a couple minutes later he looks back up at the teen girl who is still cowering in fear and this time moves a little closer.
"Easy there…," He says gently when she quickly moves back in fear. He slowly extends his hand. "I just want to help…"
After a few moments she finally reaches up her hand shaking uncontrollably and Jason takes it gently in his own moving closer. "You can trust me…" He says looking at her his blue eyes filled with concern and she nods a little.
"Is he…Is he…dead?" She asks in a small voice looking past him to the body of her attacker, and he nods in response and for the first time notices that her right eye is black and blue, there is a bruise on her cheek and she also has a split lip.
"We should get you to a hospital and I need to call the police," he says taking his cell phone out.
The young girl shakes her head emphatically. "Please…no…no hospitals…No police…I can't go to the police!" She says starting to become hysterical and she rises, wincing in pain as she starts to limp away and he is surprised to see her eyes filled with more fear then they were before.
"Okay, we won't go to the hospital," he reassures wondering why she seems so terrified of the hospital. "Calm down…" He says blocking her path.
Her dark brown eyes fill with tears and she nods. "I just can't go to the hospital or the police." She exclaims and Jason nods.
"Okay…I'm going to help you… but you have to trust me okay..."
"Marty…" she says softly and he looks up confused at first before she adds. "My name it's Marty…" she explains and he smiles kindly.
"Okay Marty, I'm Jason…and I really need you to trust that I'm not going to let anything else bad happen okay?"
Looking up and seeing the determination and honesty in his blue eyes she nods. "Okay…" she says quietly.
"I'm going to call someone who can pick us up, I would drive you back to town but I have my motorcycle and with your injuries it wouldn't be a good idea to try and get you back on that." He explains taking out his cell phone and dialing Emily's number.
"Hello?" Emily answers after two rings.
"Emily it's Jason I need a favor."
"Why? What's wrong? Are you okay?" She asks immediately concerned about the well being of her older brother.
"Yeah…I'm fine, look Emily this is kind of complicated do you think it would be possible for you to meet me up at Vista Point right away…"
"Sure I'll find a way up there and get there as soon as I can."
"Thanks, I really appreciate it," he sighs in relief and hangs up the phone walking over to where Marty is seated near the statue. "I called my sister she's going to come get us. I promise that she won't ask too many questions."
She nods sniffling a little and wiping a few tears away. "Thanks…for everything, it's really nice…" she looks up.
"Don't worry about it," Jason shrugs looking at her in concern as she winces. "Did that guy do all this to you?"
Marty is silent for a couple of minutes and then looks at him and shakes her head. "No…not him…it was someone else…that's why I can't go home…"
"Someone in your family did this too you?" he asks disgusted that someone would ever want to hurt their own flesh and blood so badly.
"My…my step father…"
Jason is reminded of when Sonny used to tell him about all the times that Deke had beaten him up and he looks at Marty, his whole body filling with anger. She was so petite and fragile, he didn't understand how someone would want to beat up a teenage girl.
"Is this the first time that he's hurt you?"
"No, he my mom died a couple months ago and since I'm only seventeen I have to live with him... when he gets mad he usually shoves me or smacks me but it was never this bad before…" She says wiping away a few tears.
"So you ran?" Jason looks over at her in question and she nods.
.~.~.~.~.~.
Sonny stood outside of the hotel room door anxiously waiting for Elizabeth to open the door, he and Benny had gone to New York and with a few calls Benny easily found out where she was staying. Now the two of them were outside her hall side by side waiting for her to open the door, each of them becoming more anxious as they heard her approaching on the other side.
Elizabeth opened the door her eyes widening in disbelief when she saw both Sonny and Benny standing on the other side. “Sonny, Benny…but ho—I mean why…what are you doing here?” She asks confusion written all over her face.
“Hello Elizabeth. It’s actually very complicated, do you mind if we come in?” Sonny asks trying to remain calm as he spoke. Moving aside Elizabeth allows both Sonny and Benny inside still extremely confused about what they are doing there.
“Thank you, Ms. Webber. I’m sorry if we startled you…” He says trying to put Elizabeth more at ease.
“Elizabeth, Benny and I are here because I have him looking into a part of my past that I haven’t faced in a very long time.” Sonny tries to explain but Elizabeth still looks at him confused and he continues his explanation. “Eighteen years ago I was married to my first love and she was pregnant with my child, well at that time I was just starting to get more into the business and had a position much like Jason’s. Well my wife just didn’t understand my job and we fought about it all the time, one night I stormed out after a fight and when I got back our home was in flames.”
Elizabeth still confused but feeling sorry for Sonny’s loss places her hand over his trying to comfort him a little. “I’m sorry Sonny,” she says sympathetically before her eyes narrow in confusion. “I still don’t think I understand why you’re here.”
“Elizabeth we think that Sonny’s wife may have faked her death in that fire to keep herself and the baby safe from his life.” Benny adds.
She looked up at them both and frowned. “I still don’t understand what this has to do with you two being here.”
Sonny looks at Benny expectantly and Benny takes out a photo of Sonny and ‘Jolene’ the night that they were married he hands it to Elizabeth who looks at the picture her eyes widening in recognition and shock.
“That’s… oh my god…that’s my aunt.” She says her mind still trying to grasp everything that was being thrown at it.
Sonny nods. “You’re aunt showed up in your life a week after my wife and child were said to have died in that fire…Elizabeth I think your aunt is the same woman that I was married too.”
Elizabeth paces the length of the room running a hand through her hair. “But then that would mean that you’re my… you’re my uncle!” She exclaims in disbelief throwing her hands up. “I mean if Chandra was your wife, and she was my aunt and Marty is my…” She stops her eyes wide as she covers her mouth with her hand realization of what Sonny was trying to tell her finally sinking in. “You’re Marty’s father…”
Sonny watches her collapse on a nearby chair in shock and waits for her to say something and finally she looks up at him in question.
“I don’t have a DNA test or anything but her birth certificate has my first name and last initial on it, also when we found out that we were having a girl we decided to name her after my mother, well your cousin’s middle name is Adella. That was my mother’s name.” Sonny explains.
“So you came here to find her?”
“We came here to help you find her actually.” Benny says with a small smile happy that so far everything seemed to be going well and neither Elizabeth nor Sonny had started a yelling match with one another.
Elizabeth nods. “Fine, but only on the condition that when we find her we both decide when to tell her and we tell her together.”
Sonny nods. “Agreed, do we know what might have happened to her?”
“I think she ran when she got scared.”
“Scared of what?” Sonny asks in confusion. “Her step father, I think for the past couple of months since her mom died he’s been hitting her or pushing her around, I tried to get a judge or lawyer to agree to let her live with me but they said that I have to have proof of abuse.” She shakes her head.
“You don’t have proof?”
“No, Marty is too scared to talk to me about it, the only proof I have I just got and that was a smashed up guitar. It had blood on it and I think he may have hit her with part of it before breaking it. I know that he’s got somebody out looking for her and he didn’t want the police involved.” She explains in tears burying her head in her hands.
Sonny’s eyes fill with anger as thoughts of Deke fill his head and he looks at Benny. “We need to find her and we have to find her before this guy can…get Jason on the phone I want him down here to help he’s good at getting information on people.”
Benny nods going to the phone to follow through with Sonny’s orders and Sonny walks over kneeling in front of Elizabeth. “We’ll find her I promise.” Sonny says brushing the hair out of his niece’s face as he tries to reassure and he wraps his arms around her, both silently praying for Marty’s safe return.

Title: Not Of My Blood, Nor Of My Bone Chapter: Chapter Three Disclaimer: I do not own General Hospital or have any affiliation to ABC the GH characters or story lines. Pairing: For now mainly Jason/Elizabeth but may add more as the story progresses. Author's notes: I'm really counting on great feedback to help give me more ideas for where to take this story so feel free to comment about relationships/friendships that you like, hate or maybe pairings that you want to see because other than Liason this story could go anywhere with the other characters.
A black SUV pulled up a few feet away from where Jason was seated with Marty and he looked up to see not only his sister but also Nikolas Cassadine and Lucky Spencer get out of the car. He let out a sigh of aggravation and ran his hands through his hair, looking over to see Marty’s dark brown eyes widen with fear and before she could retreat back any further away from him he pulls her into his arms trying to reassure her.
“Remember when I told you to trust me, well right now I really need you to do that,” he says and she nods burying her against him still weary of the people that are approaching.
Emily, Lucky and Nikolas scan the scene their eyes widening in shock when they see the dead body lying there covered in blood. Emily covers her mouth feeling as though she might gag and she turns to Lucky who wraps his arms around her rubbing her back soothingly. After a few moments she pulls away and Lucky looks at her in concern.
“Are you sure that you’re okay?” He asks worried and Emily nods.
Nikolas sighs running a hand through his short dark hair as he grips the bottle of water that he is holding tighter in his hand and his chocolate brown eyes land on Jason in the corner holding a girl in his arms. His eyes rest on the girl for a moment and he notices that she was wearing Jason’s leather jacket. He studies her petite form for a moment and decides that she can’t be older than twenty. Emily and Lucky move next to him finally noticing Jason and the young girl, Emily gasps softly as her eyes land on her face and she looks to both Nikolas and Lucky horrified, Nikolas looks at her for a moment then back at the girl and he feels his stomach tighten. There was a large bruise on her cheek, her lip was split and one of her eyes was swollen shut and black and blue.
As the three slowly approach them Jason looks up so does the girl with him her brown eyes wide as Jason looks at her in reassurance before turning back to a shocked Emily.
“Jason, what the hell happened?” She asks looking at the two of them with concern.
“There was a problem,” he starts then clears his throat and looks at Emily. “I thought you were coming alone…”
“I didn’t know that I was supposed to, I was worried so I brought Lucky and Nikolas…” She says and Marty looks up at the three people in front of her.
The girl was average height and slender with straight brown hair she was very pretty and Marty couldn’t help but think that she and man beside her with the brownish blonde hair looked familiar but that thought was immediately pushed aside. She looked over at the other man standing with them holding a bottle of water he had dark hair and his intense dark brown eyes studied her and Jason closely along with the other two pairs of eyes and she couldn’t help but tense up under their scrutiny.
Lucky looked at Jason with a sigh, “I have to call this in.” he says taking out his cell phone and hitting speed dial on his phone. “Hello this is Officer Spencer and I nee…“ He starts but is cut off when Jason snatches the phone out of his hand with a glare and Lucky is about to argue but Jason is already kneeling in front of the girl trying to calm her when it seemed as though she was having a problem breathing.
“Shh…you need to take deep breaths okay?” He instructs her. “Lucky is a cop but he’s not going to take you to the station I promise.”
“What! Morgan are you cra…”
“Lucky, shut up.” Nikolas warns kneeling near Jason and handing him the bottle of water. “Here this should help.” He offers.
Jason looks at him nodding a silent thank you and opens the bottle offering it to Marty and helping her take a drink so that she might calm down more.
Jason looks at Lucky noticing that he is silently fuming and sighs before turning back to Marty. “Marty, I have to talk to my sister and her friend Lucky…” he starts than looks over at Nikolas. “This is Nikolas, he’s going to stay over here with you and he won’t hurt you.” Jason adds and Marty looks at Nikolas who smiles warmly at her.
“Trust me, I’m harmless...” Nikolas adds and Marty nods after a few moments.
Jason walks to the side with both Emily and Lucky leaving Nikolas with Marty and once they are out of earshot he turns to Lucky with a glare.
“What were you thinking? She’s scared to death and you want to call the cops!” Jason accuses.
“She’s hurt and my guess is that from the looks of the situation she was either attacked or almost attacked, she needs to get checked out and file a report.” Lucky argues back not backing down.
“How the hell would you know what she needs? You don’t even know her!”
“And you do?” Lucky shoots back at Jason and Emily steps between the two of them.
“Okay you two, I think you should both calm down,” she says wanting to stop any type of fight that may break out.
”Jason what’s going on exactly, why can’t we call the police or go to the hospital, I mean it’s obvious that she’s hurt.”
“She wasn’t raped. I got here before the guy had a chance…” He trails off trying to will away the images of the man smirking as he pinned Marty to the ground. He shakes his head and looks back up at Lucky and Emily, “We can’t call the cops because the guy that beat her up was her step father and if we call the cops or go to the hospital they’ll just contact him.”
“So she ran away?” Emily asks and Jason nods in reply.
Lucky sighs and gives in to Jason’s request not to call the police. “Fine, but we need to find somewhere for her to stay until she’s healed…” He starts but is cut off by the ringing of Jason’s cell phone.
Jason takes out his cell phone with a frustrated sigh and answers it, “Hello?”
“Jason, its Benny, look Sonny and I are in New York right now.”
“New York,” He frowns, “What are you two doing in New York.”
“Jason did Sonny tell you about Elizabeth’s aunt…” Benny asks not sure how much Jason already knows about the situation.
“Yeah, he thinks that he might have known her when he worked at the club.”
“Turns out that he was right, her aunt was Sonny’s first wife…”
“Benny his first wife died in a fire while she was pregnant.” Jason argued.
“She wanted everyone to think that she did. She faked her death. Both her and the baby survived.”
“You’re saying that Sonny has a child and his child is Elizabeth’s cousin.” He says in disbelief.
“Yeah, that’s why we need you in New York both Sonny and Elizabeth can’t find her and they need your help finding out where she might be.”
“How soon do they need me there?” He asks looking over his shoulder to where Nikolas is holding Marty as she cries in his arms.
“We need you to leave right away.”
Jason is silent then finally answers. “Fine, I’ll be there by tomorrow morning.” He says before ending the call and Emily and Lucky both look at him expectantly.
Jason nods in agreement. “I have to go out of town for Sonny and even if I didn’t she couldn’t stay with me because of Courtney.” He says rubbing his hands over his face in frustration. “She’s not good at hiding things and it would be too much of a risk.”
“The Quartermaine Mansion is definitely out…” Emily sighs and looks up, “I would suggest Elizabeth’s studio but she’s out of town visiting her cousin.”
“She can stay with me, but I’m kind of bouncing around between staying at my mom and dad’s house with Leslie Lu and staying at Windemere.” Lucky offered.
“Windemere,” Jason repeated. “That would be perfect you three could keep an eye on her there and there is no way that her step father would find her. It’s huge so there’s got to be extra room...”
Lucky nods in agreement and Emily smiles looking at her brother and one of her best friends. “Wow, I never thought that I would see the day when you two would agree on something.” She smiles.
“Well I guess it just goes to show what a sucker I am for a damsel in distress.” Lucky says and Jason rolls his eyes as the three head back to where Nikolas and Marty are and Jason is surprised to see that Marty sleeping against Nikolas’ chest.
“She was telling me about what happened with her step father and she started crying, I think she wore herself out.” He explains and Jason nods.
“Do you think she could stay at Windemere?” Lucky asks and the three of them look at Nikolas expectantly.
“Of course,” He agrees picking her up carefully so he doesn’t wake her up and the three of them head to the car.
.~.~.~.~.~.
Once Marty woke up made the bed and showered the next morning she went through the clothes that Emily had brought for her and changed into a pair of light gray draw string sweats and a pink spaghetti strap tank top and pulled her hair up into a pony tail, after eating a small breakfast alone she went back to the room she was staying in not feeling comfortable about roaming around the large estate.
Once she arrived back at her room, she picked up a magazine that Emily had bought for her to read, and settled on the bed sitting back on top of the black satin comforter as she flipped through the magazine scanning through the articles. A few minutes later a light knock on the door broke into her thoughts and Marty looks up anxiously welcoming the distraction.
“Come in.” she called setting aside the magazine and looking up to see Nikolas enter.
“Good morning, did you eat breakfast?” Nikolas asks concerned.
Marty nods, Jason had gone out of town and asked that Nikolas, his brother and Emily take care of her while he was gone. Although she was happy that someone cared, all of the attention had become a bit overwhelming for her, especially after waking up in the Windemere estate, a place that she was unfamiliar with.
“Have you had a chance to explore the house or the island yet?” Nikolas asked.
“Island, I didn’t even know that we were on an Island.” Marty looks up in surprise, “Does anyone else live here.”
“No I own this Island. So Windemere is the only estate here.”
“You own an island?” Marty looks at him amused.
“Yeah, I am, well I was born a prince.” He says offhandedly.
“Like the type of prince that you read about in fairy tales?”
“Yeah that kind of prince,” Nikolas chuckles. “But I’m not nearly as formal.” He smiles.
“So this is your house or your families’ house?” She asks confused.
“My uncle lives here with me, but it’s my house I’m the heir of the Cassadine fortune so the money is mine.”
“You’ve lived here for a long time then?”
“Since I moved to Port Charles,” He nods. “I was sixteen…”
“Did you live alone?” Marty asks curiously.
“Well my uncle comes and goes and there are the servants, but yes, it’s just me most of the time.”
“Wow…that sounds…”
“Amazing…I know.” Nikolas cuts her off trying to hide the bitterness in his voice. Everyone always seemed to think that because he had money Nikolas was lucky to be a Cassadine and have the life that he led, no one seemed to understand what he really felt.
“Actually I was going to say that it sounded lonely.” Marty shrugs and Nikolas looks up at her in surprise, wondering how out of everyone he knew, she seemed to be the only one who understood that.

Title: Not Of My Blood, Nor Of My Bone Chapter: Chapter Four Disclaimer: I do not own General Hospital or have any affiliation to ABC the GH characters or story lines. I do however own the characters Chandra Summers, Jared Madison, Marty Summers, and Jerry Peller Pairing: For now mainly Jason/Elizabeth but may add more as the story progresses. Author's notes: Sorry this update took so long. Thank you for the feedback. I got some great comments on Nikolas/Marty so I added more but actually the original intent was to put her with Lucky but since it seems to be going well writing her with Nikolas I may keep that going. Stefan would not be happy with Nikolas getting involved with Sonny's daughter and that could add possibilities.
Jason glared at the three other occupants of the limo and all of them quickly looked away deciding that it would be better if they left him alone for the remainder of the ride. They would soon arrive at the small New York apartment where Sonny had asked them to meet both he and Elizabeth and if anyone could bring a smile to Jason's face it would be Elizabeth. Despite everything the two had been through it was obvious that Jason still had strong feelings for her despite the fact that he was with Courtney and when Elizabeth was present in a room his mood would increase greatly. Francis and Johnny just hoped that would be the case today when they spoke with Elizabeth's cousins step father. Both Sonny and Elizabeth were already there and Benny had stayed behind to welcome Jason and the two bodyguards and was asked to bring them to the apartment with Elizabeth's cousin had lived. That was where they were headed but Jason was distracted. It was painstakingly obvious that he was waiting for a phone call, he would glance at his cell every ten minutes his frown only growing wider each time.
Once they pulled up at the apartment building he could no longer take the fact that Emily had not called him with news about Marty and looked over at Benny telling him that he would meet them up in a few minutes after making a quick phone call. Reluctantly Benny agreed and told him what the apartment number was before heading inside with Francis and Johnny following close behind. Once they were out of sight he pulled out his cell phone and flipped it open dialing a familiar number and waiting impatiently for the person on the other end to answer.
"Hello?" Emily answered her cell phone after the third ring.
"Em, it's me, I just called to see how things are going there."
"Well I haven't had a chance to stop by Windemere. Zander and I went out to breakfast this morning but I'm sure that Marty is doing just fine up there."
Jason frowned he had expected for Emily to help him more by taking care of the scared young girl and was more than a little disappointed to discover that she had been too busy with Zander. "Oh, well if you see her tell her that I'll try not to be long and I can help her when I get back, I mean she's probably scared."
"Yeah…Nikolas said that he's trying hard to be there for her, and I'm sure that will help."
Cassadine; Jason had honestly thought that he would be one of the last people that he could trust to help him with something like this, but the man had surprised him by giving Marty a place where she could stay out of sight and a place where she would feel safe and be allowed to heal from the wounds that had been inflicted upon her.
"Jason…" Emily's voice broke in and he is jarred from his thoughts.
"Hmm." He asks.
"They found the body of the man that attacked her earlier this morning and it's been all over the news but the police think that it's gang related or a mugging…his name was Jerry Peller…he's a bartender from New York…"
Jason closes his eyes willing away the thoughts of the man trying to force himself on Marty that were flashing through his head and causing his stomach to tighten. "I've got to get going Em but thanks for the update, and tell Nikolas that I appreciate his help." He said with a sigh and hung up his phone before making his way up to apartment G23 and Johnny quickly lets him in.
.~.~.~.~.~. Nikolas walked through the long hallways of Windemere and upon passing the room Marty was staying in he noticed that the door was opened a bit and looked inside to see her sitting atop the bed her dark hair pulled up in a messy bun with a few wisps framing her face and her brown eyes focused intently on the book she is reading and he smiled. He had watched her since she had arrived and couldn't help but notice her beauty her skin was a creamy brown and looked as though it would feel like satin if you touched it and although she was petite she still managed to have an amazing body. Shaking his head he willed himself to remember that she was still seventeen.
"You can come in if you want." Marty says not looking up from the book that she is reading. She had felt Nikolas watching her and knew that he was standing there.
"I'm sorry I didn’t mean to disturb you." He says apologetically and she shakes her head and smiles at him her eyes finally meeting his as she sets her book aside.
"It's okay I read that book when I was a senior in high school."
"A senior?" Nikolas asks skeptically. "I thought you were only seventeen?"
"I graduated two years early when I was sixteen", she explains moving to sit cross legged on the bed.
"Wow…so you're in college?"
"No, my step father didn't want me going so I've just worked since I graduated but I was offered to attend college on a full scholarship."
"Did you want to go?' Nikolas asks taking a seat on the side of the bed.
"Yeah, It was actually my dream… I thought that if I worked hard that I would be able to go…" She says trailing off.
"Did you have any idea what you would have studied?" Nikolas asks and she nods enthusiastically her face lighting up and he finds himself wanting to see her looking that happy more often. "So are you gonna make me guess?" He teases when she doesn't say anything.
Smiling she shakes her head, "I wanted to double major in business and interior design…that way I would be able to open my own business."
"Most kids your age don't even know if they want to go to college," he says impressed.
She smiles feeling more at ease with him. "What about you did you go to college?"
"No, I had a lot of private tutors and they taught me a lot about business, and well... being a Cassadine I kind of learned by just owning so many of them."
She nods, "Do you like business?"
"For the most part, but I sometimes wish that I hadn't just done what was expected of me…" He explains, "I mean when we're young we have a lot of weird things that we want to do when we get older but a lot of them are just dreams."
"Yeah…I guess you're right. I mean everyone has a child hood dream," she agrees.
"What was yours?" He asks curiously.
"No, no, no," she laughs and shakes her head. "That's not something I'm telling you."
"Come on." He urges gently and she looks into his deep brown eyes.
"What was yours?" Marty challenges.
After a moment Nikolas laughs and looks up with a grin, "I wanted to be a professional horse jockey."
"Really?" she smiles. "That's cool…I used to like riding horses when I was with my cousin…so what happened to your dream?"
"My uncle never liked me racing so it didn't go that far," He shrugs and looks up. "What about you what was your child hood dream?"
Marty laughs. "I used to want to be a professional singer, I made my mom pay for singing lessons, buy me a karaoke machine and everything…my audience was my collection of stuffed animals."
"What happened?" Nikolas smiles.
"My step dad made me quit vocal lessons and he sold my drums and piano…ruined my guitar…" she says sadly but then quickly changes the subject. "What about you do you still ride horses?"
Nikolas nods deciding not to push her about changing the subject. "Yeah, I do…you want to go?" He asks with a smile and offers her his hand.
Looking up she smiles and nods placing her small hand in his.
.~.~.~.~.~.
Who do you think you are not telling me where she is!" Jared yelled throwing his beer bottle and sending it crashing against a wall.
Jason looked at the drunken man. His hair was a mess and his jeans were undone along with his shirt which revealed a wife beater and Jason couldn't help but shake his head disgustedly at the man. The apartment was appalling, the floors were covered in beer bottles and trash which was starting to cause a stench in the small space. Looking over at Sonny he could tell that the older man was absolutely furious that his daughter had lived in a place such as this.
"Look if you would just tell me where she was we wouldn't have this issue." A voice broke in and Jason's eyes immediately took in the sight of Elizabeth, she was dressed in jeans and a sweatshirt but the look on her face was full of determination and Jason couldn't help but smile. He had always loved to see Elizabeth fired up and here she was her eyes blazing as she argued with the man before her.
"Mr. Madison don't make it so that I have to do something rash to find out where she is.." Sonny said nodded in Jason's direction.
"You can't threaten me in my own home…what were you thinking bringing these men to my home…" Jared glares at Elizabeth.
Elizabeth who at the moment is focused on Jason snaps her head back in Jared's direction not believing for a second that he doesn't know where she is. "Then tell me who you have looking for her… if one of your friends touches her I swear I will make sure that someone makes you pay!" She yells and Jason is a little surprised to see her so angry.
"Like you don't know who I have looking for her! I know that you had one of those over grown suits kill him! I want to know where you're keeping her! I can find more men to look for her, I have men who owe me just like Jerry Peller and you can't kill 'em all!" Jared yells.
Jason eyes flash with recognition and a million thoughts run through his head at once.
"They found the body of the man that attacked Marty…he was a bartender from New York…his name was Jerry Peller."
"No, he my mom died a couple months ago and since I'm only seventeen I have to live with him... when he gets mad he usually shoves me or smacks me but it was never this bad before…"
“...Sonny and Elizabeth can’t find her and they need your help finding out where she might be.”
"I can find more men to look for her, I have men who owe me just like Jerry Peller and you can't kill 'em all!"
As these thoughts swarmed through Jason's head his anger grew. This man had been the one to beat up Marty the girl he had found in the park, and not only that but he had also been the one responsible for her almost being raped. The rage inside Jason could not be contained and before anyone realized what was happening Jason had the man by the throat slammed up against the wall his blue eyes slicing into the man like a steel blade.
"Jason, what the hell are you doing?" Sonny looks at Jason in confusion wondering what had caused him to snap but his friend just glares at the man he is pinning to the wall and tightens his grip around Jared's neck.
"Yesterday I was out riding and I found a girl in the park…" he starts to say his voice deadly low as he continues to stare at the man gasping for air. "…she was beaten up badly…spit lip…black eye…bruised cheek…"
"Why the hell should I care…" Jared manages to gasp and Jason slams his head back against the wall hard causing everyone in the room to wince when they see the blood now smeared along the wall.
"THIS GIRL WAS ALMOST RAPED!" He exclaims louder as if to warn the man to shut up. "She was almost raped, because she ran away from home…A home where she had been beaten up by her step father!" He yells and everyone in the room visibly stiffens their eyes wide with surprise and realization as he continues.
"I don't think I've ever seen anyone that scared in my entire life…I swore that anyone who hurt her would pay…" He finishes and Jared looks up his voice shaky as he tries to hide the fear in his voice.
"So..so..wh…what you gonna do what you did to Jerry to me?"
"What happened to him will seem like a dream come true when I'm through with you…trust me." Jason says with a small grin. "...and you'll be lucky if the police can even recognize your body when they find it."

Title: Not Of My Blood, Nor Of My Bone Chapter: Chapter Five Disclaimer: I do not own General Hospital or have any affiliation to ABC the GH characters or story lines. I do however own the characters Chandra Summers, Jared Madison, Marty Summers, and Jerry Peller Pairing: For now mainly Jason/Elizabeth but may add more as the story progresses. Author's notes: The reason this update took so long is because I find myself having a hard time getting out of writers block. I was hoping that maybe someone out there might be interested in maybe either co-writing this story with me or acting as a muse for me. If anyone is interested please contact me!
The laughter that rang throughout Windemere was a foreign concept to Stefan Cassadine. The estate was usually deadly silent and rarely were there signs of joyfulness. Frowning he stood up in his dark suit and watched as Nikolas entered with a girl at his side, and his eyes immediately landed on the girl.
"Uncle…I didn't know that you were back from your trip." Nikolas says his hand still wrapped protectively around Marty's smaller one.
"Yes…well I finished business early." Stefan replies in a low voice as he notices their joined hands and he looks at Nikolas expectantly waiting to be introduced.
"Oh um, I'm sorry I must have forgotten my manners…Uncle Stefan this is Marty Summers. Marty this is my uncle Stefan." He says and Marty extends her hand to shake Nikolas' uncle hand. "Marty is staying here…She knows Emily's brother Jason…" He adds not surprised when Stefan pulls his hand back as if it's been burned and looks at him with wide eyes.
"Nikolas, may I please speak with you?" Stefan says forcefully and Marty looks over at Nikolas surprised by the hostility in his uncles voice.
"I'm going to go back to the room, thank you for the ride Nikolas." She smiles softly and starts to leave before she feels the small tug on her hand and looks at him to see his hand still encasing hers and looking up their eyes lock and she stares back into his deep brown eyes almost entranced as he slowly pulls his hand away his eyes locked on hers the whole time.
"I'll come by soon." He promises after slowly slipping his hand out of hers and she nods before turning and quickly making her way to the room she's staying in.
Stefan watches the exchange in fury and looks at Nikolas angrily. "Are you out of your mind!" His voice booms loudly.
"No, I would appreciate you not yelling in my home." He says easily pouring himself a glass of water and drinking it quickly.
"Why would you help out a mobster like Jason Morgan and some girl that you know nothing about!" He screams.
"I told you to keep your voice down." Nikolas warns slamming his glass down.
"She's using you Nikolas and she's probably a no good criminal just like Jason Morgan!" Stefan yells ignoring him.
Turning and fixing his uncle with a stare of anger. "That's enough…" He says then looks up. "May I remind that you are a guest in my home and you will not speak of Marty like that or you will be the one leaving. Now if you'll excuse me I have something to do that is much more important than this."
.~.~.~.~.~.
"Benny, Francis... go outside and take Elizabeth back to the hotel." Sonny orders and the two lead Elizabeth out before she even gets a chance to protest.
Once the door closes Sonny looks at Jason who is holding Jared by his throat and walks over and takes out his gun putting it to the man's temple. "I could shoot you right now… but I won't." Jason looks at Sonny with disbelief but Sonny ignores him and continues. "I'm going to make you pay for all the pain that you've caused my daughter first." Sonny says slamming the back of the gun into his face causing a loud sickening crack and blood to flood out of the mans nose. Ignoring his cries of pain Sonny punches him in the ribs hearing the loud cracks and when Jared tries to knee him he shoots him in the kneecap and looks at Jason as Jared screams in pain. "You can go. I'm taking care of him personally."
Jason nods but punches Jared a twice before leaving and steps back as he spits out the blood in his mouth along with a couple teeth. "I needed to get that out first." Jason says before turning and walking out.
.~.~.~.~.~.
Once Jason arrives back at the hotel he walks up to the Elizabeth's room and looks at Francis who is standing guard.
"Is she okay?" he asks.
"She's worried…" Francis shrugs.
Jason nods in understanding. "Why don't you go get some sleep I'm going to talk to her."
Francis arches an eyebrow and nods hides a smile. "Yeah, sure. You two can…'talk'" He says with a grin once he's a safe distance away from Jason.
Shaking his head Jason knocks lightly on the door.
"It's open Francis." Elizabeth calls out not bothering to look up from where she is lying on the bed watching TV.
Jason opens the door and goes into the room his eyes widening in surprise as he sees Elizabeth there in a tank top and shorts that barely covered her smooth pale legs. He feels his mouth go dry and swallows hard finally finding his voice but his mind is still focused on her legs and how much he wants to run his hands along them.
"Jason.." She says in surprise as she quickly sits up.
"Hi…" He says managing to find his voice.
"Is everything okay? Are you okay?" She asks rising from the bed and crossing over to where he's standing.
"Yeah, I'm okay… what about you?"
"I guess I'm still reeling from everything that's happening and I'm still worried about my cousin." Elizabeth looks up and Jason feels his chest tighten when he notices the tears in her eyes. "She was almost attacked and I wasn't there to help her."
Without a word Jason pulls her into his strong embrace and wraps his arms around her running his hand along her back soothingly. "She was shaken up but I'm sure that she'll be okay, if she's like you at all then she's more than strong enough to fight through this."
Elizabeth nods and looks up not wanting to move from his embrace. "I guess all I can do is help her through this…"
"And you will. You won't need to do it alone either. Sonny will want to help and I know that Nikolas will help you, she's staying with him right now. Then there's also, there's also me Elizabeth, I'm here if you need me." Jason says looking down into her eyes as he cups her face wiping away her tears before he pulls her back into his embrace once more reluctantly moving back when his cell phone rings.
"Morgan." He answers.
"Jason, when are you coming back? Carly and I were at the Bridal boutique today and I think I found the perfect dress it's--"
"Courtney we can talk about this when I get back tomorrow, Goodbye." He says abruptly ending the phone call and looking back at Elizabeth who is now more distant then before. After a few moments of silence she walks back over to her bed and looks back over at him.
"Well, I'm going to be getting to sleep I want to leave for Port Charles first thing in the morning so…goodnight Jason." She says barely making eye contact.
Silently cursing Courtney for her bad timing Jason nods and walks over to the door.
"Goodnight Elizabeth." He smiles sadly before turning and walking out the door.
Once the door shuts Elizabeth sighs. "You're there if someone else doesn't need you first." She says sadly before turning off the light and going to sleep.
