Chapter 23
Jason traveled to the gym on the ship, and worked out for about 3 hours. Deciding he better stop and go in and check on his wife, he dried himself off with on of the towels, and headed to their room. When he reached his room, he Elizabeth sound asleep on the massage table. The room was empty, so the attendant must have left hours ago. Squeezing some lotion on to his hands, he placed his hands on her back, and moved them up and down her spinal cord.
“Oh, that feels good. When did you get back from the gym?” She asked.
“How did you know it was me?” He asked.
“Jason Morgan, you think you can fool me, you’re dead wrong, plus I know how you smell after you work out, and the attendant smelled like tropical breeze, and you smell like a sweaty man.”
“Thanks, Hon. I really appreciate it. No more massage men for you, it sounds like you are more interested in him then you are in your own husband. I’m headed for a shower, maybe you want to join me, or get ready for dinner, since this is are last night here, we are going to eat it in the dinning hall with everyone else.”
“Ok, I think I will pass on joining you, but I will get ready for dinner. Can I use your phone to call my sister? I want to let her know everything is ok.” She said, twirling a piece of her hair around her finger.
“Yeah, go ahead it’s on the night stand, but just turn it off after your done.” He said grabbing a nice shirt, and nice pants, and heading into the bathroom.
She walked over to the nightstand and dialed her sister’s number.
“Hello, Webber residents,” Eli said.
“Eli, is that you, what are you doing there?” Elizabeth said.
“Well, it’s my day off, and I volunteered to watch Anastasia this afternoon, while your sister is working. Do you need anything?” Eli asked.
“Oh, she’s at work, I really wanted to talk to her, but I guess I can call back later. But since your there how is everything going between you too?” She asked.
“Were fine, I toke both of the girls out to a movie last night, and Megan fell asleep in the middle of it. I toke her home, and but both of them into bed, and I stayed the night on the couch.”
“Why did you join her upstairs last night? I don’t think she would have minded?”
“No, she was ok, but I scared the crap out of her, when she woke up, she didn’t realize that I was sleeping down stairs, and screamed when she saw me, she thought that I was an intruder.” Eli said.
“I bet she really loved that.”
“Yeah, I got a lecture about, coming upstairs, and not sleeping on the couch, and acting like an intruder. But then she made me breakfast, and off to work, she went. So how are the newly weds?”
“Were fine, anything new going on there?” She asked.
“No, do you want to talk to your niece?” He said, calling Anastasia in from the kitchen.
“Yeah sure,” there was a pause on the phone, for a second, and then Anastasia came on. “Hey honey, how are you?”
“Hi, Auntie Liz-Beth, where’s Uncle Jayson?”
“Honey Uncle Jason is with me, were on a big boat.” She tried to explain.
“When you get back?” Anastasia asked.
“We’ll be home tomorrow. And we’ll come and see you.” Elizabeth said.
“Yeah, is Uncle Jayson there, me want to talk to him.”
“Honey, Uncle Jayson is in the bathroom.” Elizabeth said, as Jason opened the door, and he pointed to the phone, and she handed it to him.
“Hi, Anna. What are you doing? Is mommy taking care of you?” He asked the 3 year old; while Elizabeth stood at the door way, listening to her husband interact with her niece.
“Hi, Uncle Jayson. Yeah, mommy taking care of me, Eli’s here now, mommy at work. When you coming home?” Anastasia asked.
“Tomorrow, we’ll stop by, and take you out for ice cream, and then you can spend the night at our house. If that is alright with your mom, and then you can play with Michael.” Jason said.
“Oh, come home now, I want to spend the night.”
“We’ll be home soon enough.” Jason said. “Ok, I have to go, so be a good girl, I’m going to put your aunt back on the phone.”
“I luve you, Uncle Jayson.” Anastasia said.
“I love you too, Anabell.” Jason said, and then handed Elizabeth the phone.
“Hi, Hun. I’ll call back later tonight, and talk to your mom, about tomorrow night. I love you and be a good girl for Eli.” Elizabeth said.
“I luve you too, Aunt Liz-Beth.” Anastasia said.
Elizabeth hung up the phone, and turned it off, and placed it back on the night stand.
“You know you didn’t have to do that?” She said.
“I love your niece, and I guess know she is my niece. It doesn’t take much to invite her to ice cream, and spend the night. It gives your sister some time, and it gives us some time to practice with Michael.” He said.
“I don’t think you need any practice with children. You’re great with both of them. When is Sonny and Carly leaving for the island?” She asked.
“There leaving for the island the day after tomorrow. But don’t worry about that right know, just get changed for dinner, and then well go enjoy are last night on board.” He said.
She dismissed herself into the bathroom to take a shower, while Jason got changed into nice pants, and a button down shirt. 15 minutes later she walked out of the bathroom, with nothing but her towel on, and grabbed her nice tight black dress, and when back into the bathroom. Minutes later she emerged ready for him to sipper her dress up in the back.
He had problems holding back when she came over to him, to have him sipper her up in the back. He wanted to take her right there, but resisted just incase that she wasn’t ready for that, and they keep reminding himself that he would have all his life with her, just not push her yet.
After Elizabeth was done with her hair and make-up both of them left for what would be one of there best nights on the ship.
Chapter 24 NC-17
They joined at couple at the table, in the dinning room. During dinner, they enjoyed small talk, with the couple sitting across from them. After Jason and Elizabeth had finished there dinner, he swept her off her feet, and onto the dance floor. He held her as tight as he could with out killing her. The moved along the dance floor, in a smooth sway, as they dance to When a Man Loves Woman.
Elizabeth looked up into the gorgeous blue eyes of her husband, not imaging how it would be to be their bed right now, but she didn’t want to sound too anxious. Seeing the longing in her eyes, Jason knew what she had in mind, but tried to contain himself, hoping that she would still be like this when they get home.
After the song ended, Jason grabbed her hand, waving to the other couple as they passed, and headed up to their room. She was silent on the way up to their room, and walked slowly besides her husband, as he guided her up stairs to their room. Jason opened the door, and guided her inside.
He dropped her hand, as Jason grabbed his pajamas and headed into the bathroom, leaving Elizabeth standing there. Walking out of the bathroom moments later, with only his pale blue boxers on, he headed over to the bed, while Elizabeth grabbed her teddy that she found in her suit case, as walked into the bathroom with a sly look on her face. Tonight she was going to make the most of what she had.
When she walked out of the bathroom, in only that black teddy, she noticed that the lights were out, and Jason was lying on his side, facing the other way. She pulled back the covers, and placed a hand on Jason’s back. Jason didn’t even stir.
He was trying not to notice, that her breath was heavy, and that she was rubbing his back in little circles. She was driving him nuts. He wanted her, but he felt that it was his duty to have some control in this relationship.
Elizabeth was getting tired of Jason not even responding to her little notions, to be with her. So she decided there has to be another way. She got up from her spot next to him, and walked around the bed, and starred down at him. She noticed that his eyes were closed, but she knew better, he wasn’t asleep.
“Jason, stop, I know that you’re not asleep. Why are you trying to avoid me? What did I do wrong?” Elizabeth asked, as Jason opened his eyes.
“Elizabeth, it’s not like I don’t want you, but I’m afraid that your going to regret it. I would love to be with you, but….”
“Jason, stop, I want you more than anything. I’m not going to regret this, believe me.”
“Are you sure?” He asked.
“Yes, I’m sure.” With that said, Jason slowly pushed back the covers, and taking her in his hands. He studied her; amazed that she was actually wearing that teddy. She looked amazing.
He went to reach into the door, besides their bed, but she stopped him.
“Elizabeth, I have to get a condom.”
“No you don’t, it’s safe. Don’t worry about it, I’m on the pill.”
“Since when did you go on the pill?” He asked.
“Since I was dating Lucky.” She said.
“Ok, if you’re sure.” With the nod of her head, he began to kiss her from her neck to her toes. He started to strip, her teddy. He removed her shoulder’s straps one at a time. Kissing her when he removed them. Slowly he started lowering her teddy, till it was on the floor.
While he was removing her teddy, she was trying to push down his boxers. Finally succeeding in getting them both of them naked, Jason placed her on the bed.
His thumb teased at the tender side of her breast, stroking it, taking in more and more of it, until she ached to have his hand over more of it. She wanted his completely inside of her. His face was buried in the side of her neck. She let a groan slip from her mouth.
She opened her legs and let her legs fall open even more. He positioned himself on top of her that he could just slip in. He slowly moved inside her inch by inch. Boy did this feel good. He wasn’t inside her all the way before she was urging him to go faster. As he pushed inside her hard, her nails sank into his back.
The nails in his back, made him go longer, and harder into her. She reached her climax moments later, and she layed on top of Jason. He slowly went to remove himself from her, but she put up a protest. So he stayed inside of her, as both of them fell asleep.
In the morning, he slowly slid out of her, and made his way to the bathroom. Elizabeth felt him leave her, but just layed where she was. Jason emerged from the bathroom minutes later dressed in blue jeans and a green polo shirt. He sat beside her on the bed, and traced his finger over her face line, making her smile.
“Hey, time to get up.” Jason said, before placing a kiss on her lips.
They boarded a small boat to take them to the dock, were they first departed from. He held her hand, all the way to the car, and opened the door for her.
“Jas, can I borrow your cell phone, I want to let my sister know that I’m home.” She said, as he handed the phone to her.
She turned it on, but before she could dial her sister’s number, the phone rang. Picking it up, she answered it “Morgan.”
“Elizabeth? Is Jason there? It’s Sonny, I need to speak to him.”
She handed him the phone, with the look on her face like, it’s starting all ready. He knew that she was disappointed in the phone call, but said nothing, just grabbed the phone from her.
“Yeah” he answered, in that pissed off tone of his. “What do you want?”
“Why has your cell been turned off? I’ve been trying to get a hold of you for at least 2 days. We have a problem.” Sonny said.
“Yes, I’ve bet we have a problem. I’ve been unreachable, why can’t you get Johnny or Francis to do it? I would like to spend the night with my wife.” Jason said, looking over to his wife. Elizabeth was facing the window, very aware that Jason was looking at her. She heard every part of his side of the conversation, but why did she think that things were going to be the same way when they left the cruise.
“Jason, you need to check out Ric, I have a bad feeling.” Sonny said.
“Fine, just give me an hour and I’ll be there.” Jason said.
“You have to go to work?” Elizabeth said, now facing him.
Jason took his hand that was once occupied by his cell phone, and placed it on her cheek. “Yeah, I need to got do an errand for Sonny, but I won’t be gone long. Elizabeth I’m so sorry that I have to run out like this, but I will make it up to you. I promise.” Jason said, as Elizabeth’s eyes turned into a teary ball, but she didn’t let any on them fall.
Jason pulled into the garage, where Johnny and Francis greeted them. “Hey boss, Sonny’s looking for you.”
“Tell I’ll be there in an hour, I have something to do.” Jason grabbed his bag and Elizabeth’s bag too. And took his free hand and grabbed hers, and escorted her to the elevator. He dropped the bags, and hit the pent house floor button, and then looked over at Elizabeth. She had not spoken since the phone call.
When they reached the pent house door, Jason whipped out his key, and inserted it into the door, and dropped the bags at the door. He pent down and grabbed behind Elizabeth’s legs, and picked her up.
“Jason, what are you doing?” She asked.
“What, isn’t it tradition that the husband carry his new bride over the thresh hold.” He asked, as her face lit up.
“Jason it’s not like we follow every other tradition.”
“Well were going to start right know.” After carrying her to the couch, there was a knock at the door. Jason wanted to ignore it, but it suddenly burst open, and Sonny charged into the room.

Chapter 25
“Don’t you think about knocking?” He asked Sonny very pissed off.
He had just gotten Elizabeth to smile, since the phone call. Sonny had a wife of his own, and Jason soon would be taking over the business, in about two days when he left with Carly for 6 months. Why couldn’t he understand that?
Elizabeth stood there watching the two men, stare at each other, besides the hello look on Sonny face when he came in, they had been staring at each other for at least a minute.
“I think, I’m just going to call my sister, and let her know that I’m back. Is it all right to use the phone up in your bedroom?” She asked Jason, wanting to escape the conversation that was about to take place.
Jason broke eyes with Sonny, and turned toward Elizabeth, “Yes, Honey you can use the phone up in OUR room. I’ll be up in a minute.” He said walking over to her, and placing a kiss on her forehead, and walking her to the stairs holding her hand. As the two men watched as she ascended the stairs.
“What do you want? I’m trying to let Elizabeth know that she should come first. But as soon as she turned on my cell phone you were there trying to get a hold of me. What’s so important that it needed to be handled the day that we got back?” Jason said.
“Ric’s up to something, and I don’t know what it is? I need you to go spy on him. Tell me what’s going on.” Sonny said.
“Why can’t you get some one else to do it? Like Johnny, or Francis. I have a wife of my own, and in about 48 hours I will have a kid too. Can’t I have a life too?” Jason asked.
“I know that it’s not the best time, but I swear when we leave town that you can run it how ever you want to, but until then, I need for you to go spy on him.” Sonny said.
“Fine, but give me an hour, I have to settle everything down with Elizabeth, and then I’ll go do the dirty work.” Jason said, making his way up the stairs.

Elizabeth dialed that old number that use to be her home. On the third ring, Megan picked up the phone out of breath.
“Webber residents.” She said.
“Hey Hun, how’s life treating you?” Elizabeth asked her sister.
“Bad, I have to see if Eli will either take Anastasia, for me, until my trials done, or move in here. I’m really panicking because I don’t want to do this trial.” Megan said.
“Why what’s wrong, why don’t you want to do this trial?” She asked.
“I have to testify, because supposedly this is the guy that raped me, and I don’t know how Eli is going to take the news. I mean he’s a great boyfriend, and he’s even asked about our future, but does he really love me enough to stand by me through this trial?” Megan said.
“So, any way enough about me, how was your honeymoon? Did you too, consummate your marriage? Not that it is any of my business.” Megan said.
“Yes, your correct it’s not any of you business, but it was a great honeymoon, until we got back. Sonny was already on the phone, before we departed from the cruise. Now they are down stairs, trying to talk about business, and I don’t know what to do. I see that you guys were over to drop off the gifts. Thanks.” Elizabeth said.
“One your welcome, and two I know that Jason really care about you, and he’s not going to let Sonny boss him around. Hold on a sec, Anastasia wants to talk to you.” Megan said, as she handed the phone to her two year old.
“Auntie Liz-Beth, what you doing? How was you trip?” The two year old asked.
Elizabeth heart broke, “Honey, it was great, guess what I brought you back?”
“What!!!” The two year old asked jumping up and down on the other end of the phone conversation.
“I brought you back a tea-shirt, and a house book.” Elizabeth told her niece.
“Where Uncle Jayson? I want to talk to him.” Anastasia asked.
“He’s down stairs having a meeting, you can’t talk to him know, how about later.” She tried to tell her, but she was asking where he was.
“Why can’t she talk to me now?” Jason asked. Knowing what was going on, he probley should have not been listening at the door, but he had no other way of finding out why she would not talk to him.
“I thought you were in a meeting.” She said, handing the phone to her brand new husband.
“Hey, Anna, how are you?” Jason asked, his now niece.
“Uncle Jayson!!! Auntie Liz-Beth told me you at meeting.” The little one said.
“I was at a meeting, but it’s all done with.” He could feel her eyes watching him, as she moved around the room.
“Do you want to come and spend the night, in your new room, next week?” He asked the little girl.
“Yeah! Me going to come over and spend da night.” Anastasia said.
“Ok, we’ll do that next week, I have to go, and I’ll call you tomorrow.” He said.
Jason hung up with the girl, and turned to see his wife searching the drawers for her clothing.
“I had them put them in the left side of the drawers, and in the closet. And also your personal items are in the bathroom.” Jason said, as Elizabeth turned to look at him.
She reached in the bottom drawer, and pulled out a Pokka-dotted pajama top and bottom, and headed to the bathroom. Jason grabbed her arm, before she got to the bathroom.
“Elizabeth, look I have to go do something, but I will be back. I promise, but until then, Johnny will be outside the door, if you need anything. And don’t let anyone in, unless you talk to one of the guards.” Jason said.
“I know you have to go, and I’ll be fine, you don’t have to worry about me, I’m just going to take a bath, and then go to bed. Ok, I’ll be fine.” Elizabeth said, as she walked into the bathroom, and closed the door.
Jason changed into clothing that was all black, and left his clothes, beside the washer downstairs, and before he headed out the door he grabbed his leather jacket, and his keys.
Chapter 26
Elizabeth heard the penthouse door close, and she knew that she was all alone. She curled up into a ball, in the big gigantic bed, and cried herself to sleep.
Jason watched Ric, do nothing, only take a shower, and then go to bed, and to tell the truth, he didn’t want to be here right know, he rather be at the penthouse cuddled with his wife, but no he was here watching Ric sleep. He dialed Francis to come and take over his place, he had to go to the store, and by some food for the house. There was nothing in the refrigerator, but some pickles, beer, and ketchup.
When Francis got there, Jason took off in his SUV, and headed to the store, to buy food. Not that he knew anything about food. He hardly ate.
Parking the SUV, at the store, he headed inside. Jason grabbed a cart, when he entered. He headed up the first isle only to see vegetables, every where. He didn’t know what she ate. So he got a head of lettuce, carrots, celery, cucumbers, peppers, and tomatoes. Incase she wanted a salad, or to make something. Next was the pasta isle. He grabbed 4 boxes of pasta, and a few jars of spaghetti sauce.
He wondered down the third isle, to what was known as the snack isle. He grabbed a couple bags of cookies, and special treats, because he knows one she had a sweet tooth, and Michael liked cookies. Heading up the soap isle, he grabbed fabric softener, tide, and a bunch of other clothing things.
The next isle he headed up the tea isle, looking for her hot chocolate. Knowing her specialty was 1 ½ packets of chocolate he grabbed three boxes, just incase she went on a chocolate crave, during the day. Stopping at the breads, he grabbed a couple loves, and then headed to the frozen foods and picked up a few frozen dinners, just incase she didn’t feel like making any thing.
Grabbing what he hoped would last them through the week; he headed to the check out counter. The bill was over $200.
It was a little after 3 in the morning, and the clerk looked at Jason, like he was nuts. Jason only shook his head, and pushed the shopping cart out the door, and to the black SUV. He had to talk to Elizabeth about getting her a car. Taking the bus was not going to work, when she was taking care of Michael. Oh, and since she was going to have the little boy, he just put his foot down, when she thought that she should help pay her way in marriage. What did it look like that he was broke? He enjoyed paying for things that she wanted. Just like he was going to talk to Max, about getting a kitchen table.
There was many things on his list that he wanted to do for her, so she would realize that he really did love her. He had a feeling that leaving her tonight had just set him back, instead of forward. But once Sonny was gone, he would sent Francis, or Max to run the errands. He now had a family to think of. A family of his own.
When he reached the garage of the hotel, he had Max, and the new guard Josh, help bring up the endless bags of groceries. Carrying the bags into the kitchen, and setting them on the make shift table, he pulled Max aside, while Josh, brought up the bags.
“Max, I want you to go with us, when I take Elizabeth for a table for this room, and for a brand new car. Because if your there, then she can’t protest about me spending the money, or about how much it cost. So when she gets up, and gets ready I want you to go with us, just for my safety.”
“Sure, boss. I know that you love her. She just has to figure that out for her self. Do you want help putting the groceries away?” Max asked.
“No, I can handle it. You can go and get some rest, because tomorrow it’s not going to be easy, to convince her.” Jason said, as Max, and Josh left the penthouse.
It took Jason a little less then 45 minutes to put all the groceries away. He turned off the lights as he went up the stairs. Heading to there bedroom, Jason stripped off so that he was only in his boxers when he scooted beside Elizabeth in their bed. He noticed that she didn’t stir. He heard he breathing, and he knew that she had been crying, Jason wrapped his hands around her body, and pulled her near him.
During the night, Elizabeth turned to him, and buried her head in his chest, and snuggled close to him. Jason woke to this action, and his lose grip around her, tightened. He placed a kiss on the top of her forehead, and he drifted off to sleep again.
She was the first to wake. When she opened her eyes, she realized that her body was lying on Jason’s. She slipped under his arms, as not to wake him, and hurried to the bathroom. Boy the realization that she was just laying in Jason’s arm had made her nauseas.
Jason had woken when Elizabeth had slipped out of his arms, and he swore that he heard her in the bathroom, throwing up. Hoping out of bed, he rushed into the bathroom. He held her hair, and rubbed her back, as she fought the tears that ran down her face.
Boy she needed to learn to close the door and lock it.
“Feeling better?” He asked.
“Yeah, must be something that I ate last night.”
“Elizabeth, I know it wasn’t something that you ate, because there was nothing in the house. I know that your stomach probably just acting out, because I now that you cried yourself to sleep.” He said, still rubbing her back, and using his thumb drying her tears.
“How did you know?” She asked.
“One, when I got home my side of the pillow was wet, and two; your breathing was labored. Don’t you think that I can’t tell when you’re upset?” He asked.
“How was work last night? Did you get your self into trouble?” She asked.
“First of all, don’t try changing the subject, and no I didn’t get in trouble. Do you feel better now that you have that out of your system? Because I have some things planned for us to do today, if you think your feeling fine.” Jason said.
“I’m better, where are we going?” She asked, whipping her mouth, and grabbing her tooth brush. Jason excited the room, and changed into a pair of jeans, and a red polo shirt. Jason hurried down the stairs, and into the kitchen to start the coffee maker.
Elizabeth heard that Jason went down stairs, and changed into a pair of jeans, and a hot pink sleeveless top. She took the stairs one at a time, and smelled coffee. Jason greeted her went she reached the end of the stairs, with a tie-dye coffee mug, that said “Elizabeth”. The mug had hot chocolate, while he carried a black mug filled with his coffee.
“Where did you get this mug?” she asked.
“I found it in on the cruise ship, it was suppose to be a surprise, and I see that it was.” He handed her cup, and escorted her to the couch.
“What do you want for breakfast, eggs, pancakes, waffles, or some fruit? If you’re still up to it? I want you to eat, before we go on our little shopping spree.” Jason said.
“Shopping spree. No, Jason we're not going on a shopping spree. We have everything we need right here.” Elizabeth said.
“No, there is no arguing, were going shopping, so don’t think about pretending your sick. As soon as we eat, were out of here.”
Jason made blueberry pancakes for her, and she ate with out complaining. Jason watched her eat every bite, and then placed her dish in the sink, and he grabbed her arm, and her purse, and out the door they went, for what would be eventful day.

Chapter 27
Max was waiting outside the door, and greeted the couple with a smile. Jason nodded to him, and the three of them entered the elevator. The elevator ride to the lobby was quite.
They exited the elevator, and went to the black SUV, that the new bodyguard brought around. Jason escorted Elizabeth into the front seat, and went around to the other side of the vehicle, and hopped into it. Max sat in the back seat, watching the looks that Jason was giving her, as she sat there, listening to the radio. Jason pulled the SUV up the parking lot of a car dealer ship.
“Jason what are we doing here? Aren’t you keeping the SUV?” She asked, as Jason closed his door, and came over to her side and opened the door.
Elizabeth sat there, waiting for an answer, which he had not given to her. She sat still buckled when Jason reached her side.
“Elizabeth, were here to get you a car, for when you have Anastasia, and Michael.” Jason said after opening the car door.
“Jason, we don’t need a car, if we need anything Johnny, or Max can pick up it, or you can. I don’t want one, and we don’t need one.” She said, refusing to leave her seat in the car.
“Elizabeth, don’t give me a hard time, just come on, it’s safer if you have your own car. What do you plan on taking the kids on the bus, or walking? Either way it’s not safe for you or the kids, and I refuse to accept that your only excuse is that you don’t want me to buy you one. So please get out of the car, and help me choose the one that you want. We still have other places to go today.” Jason said, reaching for her buckle.
“What’s wrong with the bus? I take it everyday. And since you the only place that I have to go is to work, then I think I’m capable of walking. Thank you anyway.” She said, trying to re-buckle her seat belt. Jason was faster than her, and caught the buckle before she got it into place.
Turning her around so that she was facing him, he placed his free hand on her cheek, and looked deeply into her eyes.
“Elizabeth, as much as you want to fight me, I don’t think you want to do it in front of our dealer, and Max, so just agree with me, because I do care for you, and I don’t want anything to happen to you, so please me and pick out a car.” Jason said, as he grabbed her hand, and ushered her out of the SUV.
“Mrs. Morgan what exactly are you looking for?” The dealer said.
With the shrug of her shoulders, Jason took this time to tell the dealer what he thought she might want. “Something safe for the kids, and her, and something that won’t break down, and leave her in the lurch. It probably should have enough room for two car seats, and still have room to hall things to.” Jason said, as they followed the dealer into the lot, and he ushered them around.
They stopped in front of a silver caravan, “Do you like this one, or maybe in another color?” Jason asked.
Elizabeth starred at, “I guess if you not giving me a choice about cars, then yes this one will do.” Elizabeth said.
“Do you want to take it for a test run?” The dealer asked.
“Yes, that would be great, so she can get the feel for it.” Jason said, taking the keys from him, and walking her to the driver’s side, and then walking over to the other side. Max hopped into the back seat, and Elizabeth pulled out of the parking lot.
“How do you feel, when you’re driving this? Do you feel safe? That’s the most important thing, that we want.” Jason asked.
“Yeah, it’s comfortable, and I think I can call it reliable, and if you insist that I ABSOLUTLY need a car, then this one meets my approval.” Elizabeth said, as she drove back to the dealership.
When they got back to the dealership, Jason signed all the necessary paper-work, and the dealer said that they could pick the car up in a few days. Jason walked Elizabeth to their SUV, and helped her in while Max got in the back seat.
“Where are we going next?” Elizabeth asked, while Jason started the car.
“We have to go pick out a kitchen table, and a table of the patio, and then I thought we catch a bite to eat, and then go rent a few movies, it’s up to you. But we are picking out a kitchen table, and there is no question about that.” Jason said, as they drove to the furniture store.
She was quite, until they got to the store. Jason went to the passenger side, to help her out of the car. She had not spoken the whole way, and at least she got out of the car, with out putting up a fight. Max followed the couple into the store, and watched Jason’s face turn to agony. He hated shopping, but they really needed this for the house.
Elizabeth walked over to the nice maple table, and ran her fingers on it. Jason watched as she took in all the sights, and inspected all the tables.
“What do you think of this one?” She asked Jason.
“I like it, if you like it. I think it will go with the cabinets. Do you want it? What about this one for the patio? I can really see you sitting out in the patio with this one. What do you think?” Jason asked her.
“I like this kitchen table, put we don’t need that patio one, even though you have good taste.” Elizabeth said.
“Your right, we don’t need one, but I want one, so I say we get this one, since you just said that you like it.” Jason said, pointing to the wooden table with chairs. Jason left her side, and walked over to the clerk, and ordered the two tables. With that done, the three of them went to Kelly’s for lunch.
“There going to bring the furniture over, tomorrow, just to let you know.” Jason said, in the middle of lunch.
“Ok, do you think we can stop over at my sister’s, because she is going through a hard time, and I want to find out if she found some one to stay with Anastasia while she’s in Chicago, for her trial.” Elizabeth told the two men.
“Yes, we can stop over, and maybe I’ll get to see that cute little niece of mine. I have an idea, why doesn’t Anastasia stay with us, since her room is all ready done, and her and Michael get along so well, they could hang out. It would be good for the two of them, and then that gives you a reason to quit your job.” Jason said.
“I don’t want to quit my job! It’s the only thing that I have left that makes sense.” She said.
“Elizabeth, you have two options, one you can quit your job, and stay with the kids, or two you can come to work for me, and watch the kids in the office. That’s the only two things that I think you should do. They work you to the bone here, and since were going to have Michael here, I think its best that you try to spend as much time with him as you can.” Jason said, in one of his most dictating voices.
Elizabeth looked right into his face and found her self shocked. She couldn’t believe that he wanted her to quit her job. “Fine, you want me quit my job, then how do you suppose me pay me NEW car payments. I want to contribute to this too.”
“Elizabeth, do you see me going around scrounging up money to make payment, I have plenty of money, and two your car is completely paid off, so there is nothing to worry about.”
Elizabeth froze, and starred at her husband, what did he mean that there was noting to worry about, and that her car was paid off.
Chapter 28
“What do you mean my car is completely paid off? How do you just walk in to a place and hand the guy $20,000 dollars, and not expect people to look at you? Why do I need to quit my job, and why all of a sudden do you feel like I should stay home?” Elizabeth asked.
“One, I didn’t just walk into the dealership and hand him $20,000 dollars, I paid for it by check, and yes, I want you to quite your job, because of the kids, and two it’s just safer, to stay home with them, because you would have to have a guard around you, and I don’t think that the customers would like that to much.” Jason said, throwing a few twenty dollar bills on the table, and grabbing her arm.
“Where are we going now?” Elizabeth asked Jason as he escorted her out the door, and to the SUV.
“Were going to see your sister, that’s what you said that you wanted to do.” Jason said, as he started the car, and drove toward what once was her old house.
When they got to her old house, there were greeted by Anastasia in a dirty shirt, covered with what looked like, mustard, chocolate, and ketchup. She had the biggest smile on her face when she saw who it was.
“Honey, who’s at the door?” Anastasia’s mother called, from the kitchen, walking out to the living room.
“Oh, my god, It’s the newly weds.” Megan said, as she hugged her sister, and then hugged her brother-in-law.
“WOW! You guys look great. So I guess married life is treating you well.” Megan said as she looked from Elizabeth to Jason. Jason was playing with Anastasia on the floor, with the horse that he bought her. Megan seeing that both Jason and Anastasia were both occupied Megan pulled her sister over to the side.
“What’s wrong, why do you look like you have a fake smile on your face? Come on hun, let’s go into the kitchen and finish the brownies, which I just started, and you can tell me what’s going on.” Megan told her, and the two of them walked into the kitchen.
After they were in the kitchen, they finally began to talk.
“Hey did you find someone to take care of Anastasia while you were in Chicago.” Elizabeth asked her sister.
“No, Eli said that he would, but he has to go out of town, to a convention for a whole week, and then he’s on call for an entire week, and he can’t take care of her. I thought about calling Mom and Dad, but then thought against it, because who knows what they might teach her. Why, why are you asking?” Megan stated.
“Well since Jason said that I have to quite my job, and I already have to take care of Michael, and we made another room just for her, we thought that she could stay with us, if that is all right with you?” Elizabeth asked her sister.
“You don’t have to do that, I know that you too are newly weds, and that the last thing that you need, is two kids hanging around. No I think I’ll just call Mom and Dad.” Megan said.
“No, it will give us a distraction, we both love her very much, and it would give me pleasure watching her grow, and since I have no job left, then I need all the distractions that I can get, believe me.” Elizabeth said, as Jason walked in carrying Anastasia in his arms.
“If, you’re sure, that you can handle Michael and Anastasia, then it’s ok with me.” Megan said.
“Were defiantly sure, that we want both of them there, and when Sonny leaves, I’m hoping to spend more time at home, and have the boys run all the errands, so that I will be there to help Elizabeth. Aren’t you looking forward to staying with us?” Jason asked Anastasia, as Megan and Elizabeth locked eyes, and passed a secret message just with those looks.
Max, was standing on the outside of the door, watching at his post. After the brownies were fixed, Elizabeth and Megan joined Jason and Anastasia in the back yard, as he pushed her on the swing. Elizabeth was carrying a pitcher of milk, while Megan was carrying the plate load of brownies.
“So, how’s everything going between the two of you, besides him making you quit your job, because he wants you to be safe? I think that is sweet, it’s showing that he cares. You see many guys, wouldn’t take care of his partner’s kid for six months, and his niece while his sister-in-law is out of town. You have a special guy. I wouldn’t change that for the world.” Megan said, as she watched her daughter, interact with her brother-in-law.
“You have a special guy too. Eli is great with Anastasia, and I knew if he didn’t have a demanding job, that he would take her too. So how’s everything going on between the two of you? I mean you haven’t said how the two of you were handling your trail.” Elizabeth said, as she watched her sister as she was watching her daughter.
“Eli’s handling it great, better than I am handling it. I mean how do you react when they think that they found your rapist, and he is going on trail, for what he did? How am I going to explain this to Anastasia that she was born from, someone’s act of violence?” Megan asked; know this had to be hard for her sister, because she too was raped.
“You don’t have to tell her, until she is older, and when she is ready to hear it. I know that it is hard to have to deal with it, but I got through it because of you, and because of that man standing out there in the sun, pushing my niece on the swings, whatever you need, just let me know. I’m here for you and especially for her.” Elizabeth said, as she watched her sister’s eyes mist up, and they hugged for what seemed like forever.
Jason watched the interaction between the two sisters, and wondered what got them to hug like there was no tomorrow. He pushed Anastasia on the swing, and loved the feeling of pushing a son or daughter of his on the swings, he just have to approach the subject with caution, but he also thought her throwing up, this morning couldn’t be normal, he just take her to the doctor if it happened tomorrow morning.
Elizabeth and Jason locked eyes, and she thought she saw a smile out of him, and then his focus was all on her niece, who was tackling him, like they were playing football. The surprise of a little girl, knocked Jason on his butt, and he could swear that he head Elizabeth laughing at them.
Elizabeth watched as he whispered something in to Anastasia’s ear, and then she saw them heading her way.
“Oh, no you don’t! You’ll have to catch me first.” Elizabeth said, as she toke off, trying to avoid her husband, and the little red head in toe. Jason caught his wife around the second time around the swings. He grabbed her waist, and tossed her to the ground, and then the tickling started, first by her husband, and then by Anastasia.
“Ok, Ok, Stop it please.” Elizabeth said, in between laughing. Jason stopped enough to place a passionate kiss on her lips, and then the tickling started up again, but this time only by Jason.
“Uncle Jayson, let’s leave Auntie Liz-Beth alone.” Anastasia said, before Jason changed his tickling from Elizabeth to his niece, leaving Elizabeth up for air.
The three of them ended there tickling session, when Megan called them in for dinner. Dinner was quite, with the four of them, and they left shortly afterward. Megan promised that she bring Anastasia buy in a week, for her trial, and then the couple left.
Jason pulled into the garage with Elizabeth to his right, and Max is the back seat. Elizabeth seemed more stressed, once they left her sister’s house. When they reached the top level, they noticed that the guards were not on there normal post. Jason realized that something was up, and pushed Elizabeth behind him, to protect her. He had his hand on the gun in the back pocket, ready if he needed it.
When he entered the room, he saw three new faces sitting on there couch, and the guards watching them closely. Jason didn’t recognize, them but Elizabeth did, and she gripped her hand around Jason’s.

Chapter 29
“Elizabeth,” the women all called at once. “Were glad to see you, Mrs. Morgan, and this must be the lucky guy.” One of the ladies said as they greeted Jason with a hand shake.
“Are you ok, do you want us to stay?” Francis asked, Jason.
“No, Francis you can go. Thank you.” Jason said, as he watched the guards leave the house.
“Jason, I would like you to meet, Mrs. LeClair, Mrs. Beck, and Mrs. Williams. They are from school, there they ones that have me doing that notebook, remember you meet them at the meeting.” Elizabeth said, as her one hand pointed to each person and the other stayed clenched into Jason’s.
“Yes, I remember, nice meeting you again.” Jason said, as he shook each of the ladies hands. “Please ladies take a seat.”
“Thank you, we’ll get right to the point, were here as one of our monthly visits. When were you married?” Mrs. Beck asked.
“About a week and a half ago we were married in my sister’s back yard.” Jason said, as he watched Mrs. Williams write down what he said.
“How is married life coming? Did you two go on a honeymoon?” Mrs. LeClair asked the newlyweds.
“Yes, we did go on a honeymoon, for a whole week long on a cruise.” Elizabeth said.
“If you don’t mind y asking, I see that you have tight security, and how is a child going to be able to survive living in an environment like this one?” Mrs. Williams asked.
“The two children that are going to be staying with us, are use to having the guys around, and they know that it is safe to be around those guys. The little boy, lives right next door; knows that the guards are like an extra pair of eyes, to protect him, and the little girl is ok with them, because they are more of her buddy.” Elizabeth said.
“There also too protect everything and everyone in this place, and when they are out in public. There are guards around 24 hours a day, for anything that we might need.” Jason added to what Elizabeth said earlier.
“Do you mind giving us a tour, of how the house is set up, for the children?” Mrs. Beck asked.
“Sure, first we will start with the upstairs.” Elizabeth said, as she guided them up the stairs, and into what would be Michael’s room.
“Wow! Elizabeth you did some nice work with your painting, did you do the other rooms to?” One of the ladies asked.
“I did the little girls room, but I just got back yesterday, and we didn’t have time to do the master bedroom yet.” Elizabeth answered.
“What are your plans for the master bedroom? They have to be something great, because look at these two rooms. There great.” Mrs. Williams said, as she looked over what would be Anastasia’s room.
“I thought the sky view of the city, or a sunset would look really good in the master bedroom.” Jason said, looking from Elizabeth to the other women standing in their bedroom.
The five of them walked out of the bedroom, and down the stairs, when Elizabeth remembered that the kitchen table had yet to come. “Brace your selves, because the kitchen table is to be here tomorrow, along with the patio table.” Elizabeth said as they walked into the kitchen.
“This place is nice. But do you ever plan on getting a house?” Mrs. Beck asked.
“Yes, when everything settles down, we plan on getting a house with a rap around porch, big back yard for the kids, and the animals, and great scenery.” Jason said, as he watched Elizabeth eyes brighten. He knew that the house that she always dreamed of, and he thought he saw a little hope in her eyes that there would be a future with them.
“You seem to be having a great time together. When are the kids coming?” Mrs. LeClair asked.
“Michael will be here in 2 days, and he’s staying for six months, and then Elizabeth and my niece will be coming for at least two week, in a week or two.” Jason said, as he watched the teacher’s faces brighten.
“We’ll you seem to have everything under control, remember to do your notebook, and your portraits, and we will be back in a month to check everything out again.” Mrs. Williams said, as they walked to the door, and said there good byes.
Elizabeth and Jason breathed a sigh of relief when they left, and plopped themselves on the couch. Jason was sitting upright, and Elizabeth head was at his waist, and her feet were spread out at the other end of the couch. Jason played with Elizabeth’s hair as she closed her eyes, and left herself drift in to a dreamy peace.
Jason heard Elizabeth breathing heavy and he knew that she was asleep, and he hated to leave her, but he had to run one more errand, before he turned in for the night. Jason slid out of where he was sitting. He kissed her at the top of the head and headed out the door. He nodded at Johnny, and got onto the elevator.
Jason mission was to get Elizabeth a cell phone for when she was out with the kids, of even just out by herself. There was no way that she was going to deny him this gift.
Jason reached the store, and talked with the guy, about the best model, and picked out a phone that she thought that she would like. It was black with a green screen when you hit the numbers, to let you know what you typed in. Signing the contract, Jason headed home. He asked the guy to put it in a nice box, so he could give it to her as a gift.
Jason headed back to the penthouse, to join his wife. When Jason entered the penthouse he found Elizabeth not on the couch. He placed the gift on the coffee table, took off his boots, and hung up his jacket in the closet next to hers. He searched the kitchen and found it empty, he then headed upstairs, and searched Michael’s room, and found it empty.
He headed to their bedroom, but still found it empty, and then headed to the adjoining bathroom. The light was on, but he found it quite, and looked over to find her sitting on the toilet, reading a big yellow book. Jason couldn’t read the title, but he knew it had to be something that she didn’t want by there bedside.
Clearing his throat, Jason watched as she jumped up, from the surprise. “I thought that you had to go out?” Elizabeth asked, as she placed the book that she was reading behind her back.
“Yeah, I just had to go pick up something. What are you reading?” Jason said, as he knelt down beside her.
“It’s nothing. What was so important that you had to go pick up? I guess I’m not allowed to ask about that.” Elizabeth said.
“No, it’s a surprise for you, but you’ll get it tomorrow, now let’s brush your teeth, I’m ready to head to bed.” Jason said, as he stood, and took his red toothbrush from the holder, and started brushing his teeth.
Elizabeth watched him, brush his teeth. “Were you serious about me redoing the bedroom?” Elizabeth asked, while waiting for the answer after Jason rinsed his mouth of the toothpaste.
“Yes, I was serious. I love the fact that you want to redo our bedroom, and whatever you pick will be fine with me.” Jason said, as he watched his wife finish brushing her teeth.
“Even if I paint it all flowers, you won’t say any thing?” Elizabeth said, with that devilish look on her face.
Jason took of his shirt, and his pants, which left him only in his boxers, and crawled into his side of the bed. Elizabeth finished brushing her teeth, and followed into the bed. She turned off the light, and turned her body so that she was facing Jason. She fell asleep looking at her husband.
Chapter 30
When she awoke the next morning, it was after 10 am. She noticed that Jason was not in bed beside her, and she didn’t hear the water running in the bathroom, so she opted to take a shower, and dress for ….
“Wait there’s nothing to dress for. I don’t have anywhere to go, so I….” she didn’t know what to do. She could paint, see what her husband was up to, or take Anastasia to the pool, what ever floated her fancy.
She showered and changed into a pair of jeans and a long sleeve yellow shirt, and descended the stairs only to be greeted with Jason, and Michael in a pair of there swimming trunks, and a shirt on.
“Morning sleepy head. It’s nice of you to grace us with your presence.” Jason said, teasingly. He wanted to know what toke her so long to get ready this morning, was she sick again. He’d have to talk to her about that.
“Funny Jason. Hi Michael, what are doing?” Elizabeth asked the 3 ½ year old, as she kneeled down to meet his level.
“Uncle Jas and I are going down stairs to the pool, want to come with us?” Michael asked her.
“Your taking him swimming? What about….” Elizabeth said, as she stood to meet her husband’s eye level.
“I rented out the whole pool for the day, and Megan is bringing over Anastasia, and they should be here soon. Do you want to join us?” Jason asked her.
“You rented the pool for the whole day, and you want me to join you, that’s nice, but I don’t even know where my bathing suit is.” Elizabeth said.
“Here, you can wear this, and this is the gift that I got you last night, so hurry up Anastasia will be here any minute.” Jason said, handing her a little square box, and a bigger size rectangle box.
Elizabeth looked shocked, she didn’t expect to get gifts, when she claimed that she didn’t have a bathing suit. The knock on the doors interrupted her thoughts. Johnny opened the door, and announced Anastasia and Megan.
“Thanks for calling Jas, she was driving me nuts.” Megan said, as she tried to stand straight on her high heals. She tried fixing her brief case that was falling down her shoulder. “She basicly dragged me over here. When you called, it took all I could to get her dressed, and get her in the car. She was so excited, that she couldn’t even wait to me to get changed.”
Anastasia was a holding onto Jason’s leg for dear life.
“Hunny come here, give me a kiss good bye, and then you and your Uncle can go swimming.” Megan said to her daughter, as she knelt down to her level. Anastasia did just that, and then went over to play with Michael.
“I’m sure that she will be fine. Have a good day at work sis. She’s in good hands.” Elizabeth said to her sister.
“Here’s her bag, she already has her swimsuit on, and if you need anything, just call the office and they will get a hold of me. Bye guys.” Megan said, as she walked out the door.
“So, Aunt Liz-Beth you going swimming too?” Anastasia asked.
“Yeah, I am, I just have to go change.” Elizabeth said.
“Ok, were going to run to the store, and pick up some pool toys.” Jason said, grabbing the two little hands in his, and walking out of the penthouse.
Max took Michael hand while Jason held Anastasia on his hip, as the rode to Elizabeth’s brand new van. Once the kids were buckled in the back seat, Max took the front seat next to Jason. Jason popped in one of the video’s in the VCR, and settled in for the ride to the store.

Elizabeth reached the top of the stairs, when she realized that there was another package in her hand, beside her suit. First of all where did he get off with buying me a swim suit, how did he even know that it would fit me.
She reached their bedside and unwrapped the biggest package only to find a red polka doted bikini. Boy he was dead meat, why didn’t he get me a one piece suit, no he want to see my body.
Putting it on, and then putting on a pair of her worn out jeans, and one of Jason’s black shirts on. She sat down on the bed again, and opened the small box. What she didn’t expect to find was a cell phone, at it was ringing. She answered it with reluctance, and was surprise to hear her husband on the other side of the phone.
“Hey, I see that you opened your present.” Jason said to her.
“What are you doing buying me a cell phone, I don’t need it, it’s not like that were going to go any where. I mean I don’t even have a job any more. And you better not be driving, and talk to me, you have two little kids in the car.”
“Yes, I am driving and talking to you, but that because your brand new car has a speaker phone in the car, so when you can’t use your cell phone, then you can use the car phone, by just pushing a button. And I got the cell phone because there is always a way to get a hold of you, whether you are with a guard, or in the pent house, just in case something happens.” Jason said as he pulled up to the store.
“I got to go, were at the store, well be back soon.” Jason said.
“You’re not of the hook, that soon were going to have a talk tonight.” Elizabeth said.
She hug up the phone, and placed it in to her purse, and went down stairs to grab some breakfast. She noticed that the kitchen was full stocked with food, and she made herself a ham and cheese omelet, with buttered toast, and a cup of hot chocolate.

“Hey guys were here.” Jason said, as he unbuckled Anastasia’s car seat, and picked her up. Johnny unbuckled Michael’s car seat, and helped in on to the ground. They walked into the pool store, and kid’s eyes lit up.
Buy the time that they walked out of the building Jason had bought 3 beach balls, 4 noodles, a giant gater pool float, 2 children pool boats, 2 sets of arm wings, 2 swim vests, and a few floating ducks.
Jason paid the bill, and buckled the kids in the car again, and headed home.

Elizabeth waited for the kids to get back with Jason. She brought the book that she was reading down stairs with her, and decided to hide it under the couch when they came home.
She was at chapter two, when she heard the elevator open, and shoved the book under the couch.
Max opened the door, and Jason brought Anastasia in on his hip, and he held the hand of Michael. Max helped Johnny bring in the endless bags of pool toys.
Jason saw the look on Elizabeth’s face like she was caught doing something wrong. He put that out of his mind, when he realized that she was wearing his black shirt. Anastasia ran over to Elizabeth’s side.
“Are we going swimming now?” Anastasia asked.
“Yes, now we can go swimming, just let me see what you guys got. Ok.” Elizabeth said.
“We got red n blue balls for Michael, a pink stick for me, a green monster, and some ducks.” Anastasia said.
“Cool, you ready to go to the pool. Hey Max, and Johnny do you think that you want to join us in the pool.” Elizabeth asked teasingly.
“Very funny Elizabeth.” Johnny said.
The guards escorted them down to the pool. Elizabeth was holding Michaels’ hand, and Jason was holding Anastasia.
They reached the pool, with a quite ride. The guards blew up the floatation devices, and Jason and Elizabeth slipped the arm wings on the kids arm, and pulled off his shirt.
“Aren’t you going to take off your shirt, and join us.” Jason asked Elizabeth as he was in the pool.
Elizabeth pulled his shirt off. “Thanks honey, for the bathing suit, your dead tonight.” Elizabeth said, as she entered the pool.
An hour later the kids were getting tired, and Johnny and Max offered to take the kids up to the penthouse and put them down for their nap. Jason and Elizabeth said that they would clean up the toys, and be up in a little bit.
“Hey, It was nice of you to buy them all the toys, but they didn’t need it, and it was nice of you to invite Anastasia.” Elizabeth said as she tossed one of the kids noodles at him.
“Oh, you want to play do you?” Jason said as he splashed water at her. She splashed water back at her, and the splash war continued. He chased after her, until he caught her. She was laughing, when he bent in for a kiss.
The kiss was sweet but passionate. He would have loved for it to continue, but the clearing of a throat interrupted them.
“Johnny what do you need?” Jason said, as they broke up the conversation.
“Elizabeth, Anastasia and Michael want you to read them a story before they go to sleep.” Johnny said, as they both wanted to go to grab there towels to dry off.
“I will be there in a minute.” Elizabeth said, as she and Jason entered the elevator with there belongings.
Jason would have to continue what they started later tonight.

Chapter 31 NC-17
Jason and Elizabeth rode the elevator in silence. They would have to talk about what happened in the pool. And if she got the courage maybe she think about telling him of what she hope wasn’t going on with her body. When they reached the pent house Anastasia and Michael were sitting on the couch in dry clothes. Anastasia was holding a book in her hands, that she wanted them to read to them.
Elizabeth and Jason changed into dry clothes, and sat on the couch. Anastasia brought a book from home, and Elizabeth agreed to read it to them. Michael decided that Uncle Jason should sit next to Aunt Liz-Beth, and that Anastasia should sit next to Aunt Liz-Beth, and he would sit on his uncle lap.
Elizabeth didn’t know what to think, with Jason sitting on one side, and her niece on the side. Elizabeth read A Frog in the Bog. It happened to be the book that Elizabeth bought her when she got sick. They all paid attention to the story being told, about a hungry frog in the middle of the bog, and he finds himself in a bit of trouble. He eats more and more bugs and gets larger and larger...until an alligator puts a surprising end to his feasting!
The kids fell asleep in the middle of the story, and Jason carried Michael to his bedroom, while Elizabeth carried Anastasia to her bedroom. By the time that Elizabeth got back down stairs, Jason had lunch done, and had everything set up on there new kitchen table.
“We have to talk about the cell phone.” Elizabeth said as she took a bite of her mac and cheese.
“What’s to talk about. You need it, in case there is an emergency.” Jason said, eating his hotdog.
“I understand, thank you for the gift, but it wasn’t necessary. I like that you want to take care of us, but I think that we will be fine. But since you insist that we need one thank you again.” She said.
“Your Welcome, and remember that there’s always going to be a guard around, so they can call them, or you.” Jason said.
“I want you to be safe, and let nothing happen to either of my niece or nephew. And I don’t want anything to happen to you too.” Jason said, as he grabbed both of their plate and rinsed it in the sink, and then put it in the dishwasher.
He escorted her to the living room, to finish the conversation that they were having during lunch.
“Jason, it’s nice that you want them to be safe, but I can take care of myself, and you said yesterday that you were going to spend more time a home, so I don’t need a cell phone. Or, did you lie about being home more?” Elizabeth asked.
Since they were sitting next to each other, Jason reached over, and pulled Elizabeth on to his lap. “I meant what I said yesterday, that when Sonny leaves, I am going to try to be home more, and be with you and the kids.” Jason said, and then kissed her.
The kiss felt so good, that neither wanted to break it. His hands when they first started the kiss were on the back of her head, and now they were moving down ward. Jason grabbed her butt, and lifted her up, and Elizabeth placed her legs behind him.
He carried her up to there bedroom, and shut the door behind them. “Are you sure that the kids aren’t going to wake up?” She asked.
“No, they should sleep for at least 2 hours, if not longer.” Jason said.
Jason removed her blouse, and undid her bra strap, while Elizabeth tried removing his pants. Jason helped her a little, before he pulled off his shirt. After the both top halves were naked, she worked on his pants, but they never broke the kissing.
She undid his zipper, while he tried to push off the gray sweat pants. After 15 minutes both were naked, and Jason was making all her fantasy’s come true.
He put 3 fingers in to her core, and moved them in and out, until her core was wet.
“Jason I want you in me now.” Elizabeth pegged. Jason pushed her legs open, and knelt into position.
“Are you sure?” He asked her, before he entered her.
With a nod Jason slowly moved into her, and began to thrust slowly. “Faster, faster. Uh, that feels good.” Elizabeth said.
Jason began to move faster inside of her, and their bodies rocked faster and faster, until they both reached their climax. Elizabeth laid her head on Jason, and fell asleep. Jason slowly slid out of bed, and changed into a pair of red boxers, a green polo shirt, and a pair of jeans.
He popped his head into the kids room, and saw that they were sleeping, and walked downstairs. He alerted Johnny to go in, and sit with the kids, and not to wake Elizabeth, while he went out. Johnny agreed, and Jason took the elevator down to the parking garage and hopped in his SUV.
He headed to the pet store down the road, and entered the parking lot, and parked next to a red van.
He entered the pet shop, and was surprised to find all the animals that didn’t have a home, he felt sorry for all of them. Elizabeth was going to probably flip about him buying her a dog. She flipped out, when ever he bought her something, like she didn’t like when he spent money. He thought that to smooth things over with her, he would buy her a tamed dog, so she didn’t have to worry about it going on the furniture, or destroying any thing.
Jason asked the clerk, if she had anything that would be great, around two young kids, and was tamed enough that his wife wouldn’t say anything. The clerk showed him the baby born golden retrievers, but Jason knew that he would have to train that one. So he opted for not one full grown, but not a baby. He was the size of Michael, and he like that they could play together.

Elizabeth woke to the kids giggling, and noticed that she wasn’t dressed, so she grabbed the clothes that were thrown in their love making, and slipped them on. She was surprised to find Johnny with them, and not Jason.
“Thank you Johnny. Where did Jason go?” Elizabeth asked the guard.
“He had to run a special errand, I’m not suppose to tell you about, he said that he would be back soon.” Johnny said, as Elizabeth escorted him to the door.
The kids and her were in the living room, watching Home Alone 3, when Jason arrived with the dog. The kids jumped off the couch, and greeted the new member of the family, with hugs and kisses. The dog loved them as much as they loved the dog.
“Why did you get a dog?” Elizabeth said, with her mouth still open. She was shocked that he bought a dog, with out asking.
“One he looked lonely, and to I didn’t want you to feel bad about letting me win the splash war.” Jason said, as he watched the kids interact with the dog. “And he is going to be a guard dog, and the kids playmate, so you don’t have to worry about that.
“Uncle Jayson? What are we going to call her?” Michael asked.
“I don’t know, what do you want to call her?” Jason said, when he was kneeling at their eye level.
“How about we call her…….Sandy, no how about…..Sunshine, because she is as bright as the sun.” Michael said.
“How does, that work for you Anastasia? What do you think of Sunshine?” Jason asked the little girl.
“I luve Sun-shine. She good dog.” Anastasia said.
“How about you Elizabeth, what do you think about Sunshine?” Jason said, all the kids eyes were taken off the dog, and now on her.
“I like Sunshine.” Elizabeth said, kneeling down and petting the dog. “Oh, and Jason she is not sleeping with us.” Jason laughed at that statement.
Chapter 32
Like she promised Megan picked up Anastasia after work, but she didn’t want to leave, she want to stay and play with the dog, but Jason promised her, that she would be living here with them in less then a week, and then she could be with the dog all she wanted.
As soon as Anastasia left, Sonny and Carly came to pick up Michael, and just like Anastasia he didn’t want to leave, and yet again Jason soothed Michael wanting to stay, saying that he would be here in two days, to stay for 6 months, and he could play with the dog then.
Elizabeth watched as all this went down, she couldn’t believe that he took care of two screaming kids that were begging to stay. She waited for him to ask for her help. After Sonny and Carly left, Jason turned all his attention back to Elizabeth.
“What do you want to do for diner?” He asked her. “I could make something, or we could go out, or we could order pizza, or go to Kelly’s. It’s up to you.”
“How about we order a pizza?” Elizabeth asked.
“Pizza’s fine with me. Let me get the number on the refrigerator. What do you want on it?” Jason asked as he made his way back into the living room.
“I don’t care, what ever you want.” Elizabeth said as she stretched out on the couch, and laid her head on the pillow that was there. Jason phoned the order in for one large cheese pizza, and then sat on the couch with Elizabeth.
“Do you feel ok?” Jason asked, as he held her head in his lap, and brushed her hair with his hand.
“Yeah, I feel fine, I’m just tired.” Elizabeth said, as she closed her eyes closed, and stroked the dog with her free hand.
She fell asleep before the pizza man arrived, and Jason carried her up to bed. Sunshine followed Jason upstairs and then back downstairs. He opened the door, and told Max to go walk the dog, and handed him her leash.
The pizza man arrived 5 minutes after Max brought the dog back from her walk. Jason didn’t have the heart to wake Elizabeth, she need her sleep. She had been very tired lately, but I guess since she went swimming, and then they made love. She is having trouble getting sleep, Jason told him self. Jason put the pizza in the refrigerator and went to take a shower.
When he emerged from the bathroom, he noticed that Sunshine was at the end of there bed, and asleep. He crawled into bed, “Just for tonight.” He said, and went to bed, and Elizabeth curled up into his side.
The next morning Jason woke to find Elizabeth not in bed with him. He searched the bathroom, but found it empty. He came down stairs, but found that empty, to think about it, the dog was missing too.
When Liz woke this morning, she was surprise to find that Sunshine had slept with them at the end of the bed. Even though she told Jason that the dog wouldn’t sleep with them, she enjoyed the feeling of someone on her side, and some one at her feet. It made her feel like this was her home.
This week she had gotten headaches, and was tired lately, and she thought that if she took a morning jog, then she would feel ok. Sunshine stayed with her the whole time, along with Johnny. It looked kind of weird that a man was jogging in a white button down shirt, and nice black pants. He discarded his jacket after the first 15 minutes.
Jason made breakfast, and set off to read the morning paper. She still wasn’t home, he was starting to worry. He was almost finished the front page, when her and Sunshine entered, looking worn out.
“Hey, you’re up.” Elizabeth said, as she entered the penthouse. Sunshine saw Jason and went over to get his attention. Jason put his hand down and pet Sunshine.
“Yeah, did you go for a run?” Jason asked.
She shuck her head as a indicated yes, and went to lay down on the couch. The day pretty much went the same as any other day. Jason went over to Sonny’s for a brief meeting, and Elizabeth and Sunshine slept on the couch.
While Jason was over at Sonny’s he had them pack up Michael’s things. Leaving Sonny’s house, Jason entered his, only to find that Elizabeth was still on the couch sleeping. He called Megan, while his bride was sleeping, and asked if she had a problem if Elizabeth and him took the kids away for a few days, starting tomorrow.
“Sure that’s not a problem, she loves you guys, and that dog. She keeps begging me to get a dog now, Thanks Jason.” Megan said, into her end of the phone.
“Not a problem, we’ll pick up her up tomorrow, and make sure she is ready to go camping for a few days.” Jason said.
The conversation between him and his sister-in-law ended there. He hung up the phone and carried her up the stairs, and to their bedroom. He laid there and watched her sleep. Sunshine was at there feet again, and it made him feel that both of them really belonged here.
Elizabeth woke shortly later, and found Jason beside her, starring at her.
“Are you sure you are ok?” he asked.
“Yeah, I’m fine. What’s going on?” she asked.
“I thought that you and me, and Michael and Anastasia would go away for a little bit, do a little bit of camping. How does that sound to you?”
“That’s great, are you sure that you can get off?” Elizabeth said, as she touched his cheek.
“Yeah, the guards can do what ever need to be done. So I’m going to pack, I was planning on leaving tomorrow.” Jason said, getting up.
Both packeted, and watched a movie in the afternoon. Jason warmed up the pizza that they never got to eat last night. They went to bed early that night, so they were all rested for camping.
The next morning, Michael and Anastasia arrived with their sleeping bags, and smiles, they were happy that they were going to go away…and with the dog. Max, and Johnny helped load there bags, sleeping bags, dog food, tents, and toys in the back of Elizabeth van. Max and Johnny were going to follow them up to the camp grounds.
Elizabeth helped load Anastasia into her car seat, while Jason loaded Michael into his seat. Sunshine climbed into the very back seat, and laid down. Jason and Elizabeth climbed into their seats, and were on the road. Jason noticed that Elizabeth had not said much, since they had woken this morning.
“Are you feeling all right?” Jason asked, as he picked up her hand, and kissed it.
“Yeah, I think so. I just got this bad feeling.”
“And thing in particular?” He asked.
“No, my stomach just doesn’t feel good, and I got a headache.” She said.
“Did you take some aspirin?” Jason asked, still holding her hand.
“Yeah, but it doesn’t seem to be going away.”
“If it doesn’t go away by tonight, were going to see a doctor when we get home.” Jason said.
“I don’t think a doctor is necessary, it’s just stress.” Elizabeth said.
“Were going to wait and see if it gets better, and if it does, then we won’t have to go to the doctors, ok.”
“Ok.” She said.
“Uncle Jayson, can you put a movie in?” Anastasia asked.
After Jason put a movie in the kids had fallen asleep. The car was quite, except for Elizabeth humming to the songs on the radio. They reached the camp sight with in 2 hours of when they left home.
Johnny, and Max were helping Jason help set up the tents. Jason had picked a good sight. They had running water, and bathrooms, just down the trail. Elizabeth helped unload the car, while the kids slept. Sunshine wasn’t on a leash, but she kept right beside them.
When the kids woke, Elizabeth and Jason helped them open there sleeping bags. Both kids insisted that they sleep with their Aunt and Uncle. After setting up bed, Jason helped Elizabeth make diner, over an open camp fire.
“How does you head feel?” Jason asked, after they were finished with diner, and had read the kids to sleep.
“Actually, it’s fine, but I’m tired I think that I might want to hit the sack, what to join me.” She asked.
“Sure, let’s go to our tent. Come on Sunshine! Night Johnny and Max, just make sure that you put out the camp fire.” Jason said.
“Sure, night guys.” Both Max, and Johnny said at the same time.

Chapter 33
The next morning, Elizabeth woke to find the kids in between Jason and Elizabeth, and Sunshine at her feet. Getting and walking off the nausea feeling in her stomach. She didn’t want Jason to know that she wasn’t feeling good, or he would take her to the doctor’s when they got home. It ended that her walk took her down to the creek, she found the nearest stump to sit on, and tried to clear her head.
Sunshine had followed her, she noticed that the dog didn’t even have to have her on a leash, she was a good dog, and she had to give credit to Jason for picking out a good dog. At first she thought that the dog would be a problem, but she seemed to fell comfortable in having her around, and Jason thought of the dog was another bodyguard. Sunshine knew that her job was to protect her family.
Jason woke to find the kids were not in the tent. Getting up as fast as his body would let him, he realized that he heard voices outside the tent. Leaning his head outside of the material, he saw Johnny, Max, Elizabeth, Michael, and Anastasia sitting at the wooden picnic table eating what looked like cereal. Jason approached from behind, and put his hands on Elizabeth shoulder.
Scaring her half to death, her bowl flew out of her hands and into the air. It landed on his head. The laughs coming from around the table, were not helping Jason thought.
“Sorry, that’s why your not suppose to scare people like that.” Elizabeth said, trying not to laugh. Even the guards tried not to let the giggle escape from their mouths.
Jason removed the bowl from his head, and threw it in the trash. “I think I’ll just go down buy the creek, and wash it out.” Jason said, as he jogged down to the creek.
Jason was back in no time, and the kids were done with there breakfast, and Elizabeth changed both of them into clean clothes, and put their shoes on. Elizabeth and the kids were on their way down the trail, towards the playground, when she noticed, that not just his hair was wet, but his whole body looked like it went threw a car wash.
Jason met up with Elizabeth and the kids down at the playground after he had changed. They were pushing the kids on the swings, and flirting back in for, when out of the corner of their eyes, they saw Johnny and Max running towards them.
“Waa….We have to go, someone coming….. Everything all ready in the car, let’s go.” Johnny said out of breath.
Jason didn’t need any other explanation, when he grabbed Anastasia and Michael and started off in a run towards the car. Leaving Elizabeth with no choose, but to run after him, with the dog by her side.
Jason buckled the kids in their car seats, and jumped into his. Elizabeth was all ready in the car, when he started it. Jason drove nervesly.
“Jason, what’s going on? Who’s after us? Can you slow down a little bit. This road is very windy, and your go too fast, and I think I am getting sick.”
Jason looked over to see Elizabeth’s green face. He pulled to the side of the road, and she opened the door, and threw up. Minutes later she was back in the car, and had her eyes closed.
“Sorry, I didn’t mean make you sick, here wipe your mouth with this, and drink some of this.” Jason said, as he handed her some water. “Are you ok, if I start going again?”
“Yeah, I’ll be all right. I think that all those curves were making me dizzy, and you were going so fast, that I couldn’t hold my breakfast in.” Elizabeth said.
“No, it’s ok, you do realize that we had to get out of there, that’s why we were going so fast?” Jason asked.
“I understand, just remind me never to look at the road when your driving.”
“Funny Elizabeth, if you want you can rest your head on me, and take a nap, were going to be going for a couple of hours, to see if we can loose who ever they said that was following us.” Jason said, as he toke her head in his hands and directed it to his shoulder.
The car was quite for hours, except for the country western songs on the radio. Elizabeth was asleep and her head was on his lap. Michael and Anastasia drifted off to sleep not to long ago, and he was alone to wonder what was going on. It didn’t make any sense, he didn’t see anyone following them.
He pulled off into a gas station, and woke Elizabeth to see if she had to go to the bathroom. Johnny stayed with Anastasia, as he toke Michael to the bathroom, and to grab some food, and drinks for there ride. Max took Sunshine to do her business, and clean up after her. Elizabeth came out of the bathroom, and changed Anastasia in the car. Even though the girl was potty broke, she knew with all the stuff that was going on, that she wasn’t dry anymore. Jason emerged with food and drinks in one hand, while Michael carried what looked to be a movie.
Jason placed Michael back in his car seat, and climbed into his. Elizabeth was studding the movie that they bought. It looked like that Michael picked out a monkey that could play baseball. She opened it up, and placed it into the VCR. Jason had pored water into there sippy cups, and handed them what looked to be an egg salad sandwich.
She didn’t know that he liked egg salad sandwiches. He handed her a chicken salad sandwich, and a bottle of water. He ate his sandwich while he drove. She had offered to drive, but he told her he could manage it. I think he just liked when she laid on him. The kids ate their sandwiches, and watched the movie, while Elizabeth relaxed after finishing her sandwich. She closed her eyes, is this what a family felt like? Two kids in the back, and a husband at her side.
The only thing she knew about family is when she did something bad, that they always came to hate her, just like when she was rapped they blamed her. No, no, she was happy having some one by her side, and a dog in the back seat. Somewhere in between her thoughts of family, she fell asleep in Jason’s lap.
Jason like her sleeping in his lap, it felt good, like she belonged to him. The kids had drifted off to sleep again, and Jason drove home. They had driven 2 hours out of their way to make sure that no one was following them, and then had to drive 4 hours to get back home.
When they arrived back home, Max toke Michael, Johnny toke Anastasia, and Jason toke Elizabeth in their arms, and carried them back up to their rooms. Making sure that they were all tucked in, Johnny was asked to take the dog for a walk, and then he would be able to go home.
Francis was at the door, and him and Jason took care of business. Jason wanted to protect his family, and there was nothing going to stop him. After taking care of business, he decided that he join Elizabeth is bed. He first went into the kid’s room, and made sure that they were ok. Sunshine followed him up the stairs, and into their bedroom, and laid at the doorway. He noticed that in the mist of talking to the guards down stairs, that she had changed in to silk pajamas, and brushed her teeth. He stripped down to his boxers and crawled into bed with her.
As he laid there in bed, he remembered the events of the day, with Elizabeth sleeping in him in car, boy in seemed strange that she was always tired, maybe she was ….. No there was no way, she would have told him. He realized that even if she was, the first time was only 2 ½ weeks ago, she wouldn’t be showing any symptoms yet. Carly didn’t show any of them until she was almost 6 weeks. All those crazy thoughts were messing up his mind, he needed to get some sleep, before his mind told him that she was something worse.
Sunshine jumped up on the bed, and curled at their feet, at Jason closed his eyes, and that was the end of everything, and the next thing that he saw was blackness.
Chapter 34
When Elizabeth woke the next morning, she found that Jason was sleeping next to her. Elizabeth laid in comfort as her husbands arms were entangled around her. As Sunshine began to stir at their feet, Jason woke to his wife snuggled very close to him. He hated to leave but he thought he heard the kids downstairs. He tried to pull away from her as silently and unnoticeably. Seconds after he left her side she opened her eyes to see no one there beside Sunshine. Wondering where everyone was, she emerged from her bed to go downstairs.
Michael and Anastasia were sitting downstairs in front of the T.V., eating what looked to be like dry cereal. Johnny must have helped them reach it, because it was on top of the refrigerator, and there was no was they could reach it.
When Jason reached the kitchen he noticed that there was food everywhere, open cereal boxes laid on the floor, with their contents on the floor. The refrigerator door was still ajar, and the gallon of milk was spilled on the floor. The kitchen cabinets were all open, like they were looking for the bowls, and they never closed them.
Jason stood amazed that 2 little kids could do so much damage to a kitchen. What was Elizabeth going to think? He had to clean this up, grapping a broom he began to sweep up the damage.
Elizabeth made her way down the stairs, and noticed that the kids were watching T.V., and eating cereal. Content that they would be ok for a few more minutes, she went to check what Jason was doing in the kitchen. She reached the doorway, and saw the destruction, that they made.
Jason looked up to see Elizabeth standing at the doorway, her mouth was open.
“What happened here?” Elizabeth asked, when she got her voice back.
“Nothing, the kids just decided to have some breakfast.” Jason said, as he continued to clean up the mess.
“Do you want some help?” She asked.
“If you want to, but I don’t want you to over exert your self.”
“What’s wrong with me helping you? I’ve worked at Kelly’s before, and have done the dishes, and the floors, so what’s wrong with me work at home now?” She asked.
“You just seem tired lately, and you sick very often, and I don’t want this to make you tired or sick.” Jason said, as he starred at his wife.
“You’re silly, the only thing that is wrong with me is that I get those darn headaches that make me sick, and tired. There is nothing wrong with me. Actually I haven’t sleep better in months, and I’m all ready to take the kids to the park, or shopping or something.” She said ramblingly.
“Elizabeth, how about we get Max to take the kids to the park so we can get a chance to straighten this place up.” Jason said, with a slight smile.
Just as he said that Sunshine comes trampling in and starts munching on the food on the floor.
“Sunshine, No!” they both say in unison.
Sunshine looks up into Elizabeth’s big brown eyes and gives a slight whimper.
“Well I guess theirs no real harm in letting him eat some of this stuff….It helps us out a little” Elizabeth said with a slight giggle.
Jason smiles at the interaction of Sunshine and his wife, “She is going to be great with our children” he thought to himself. As he thought that he couldn’t help but let a smile sneak through.
Elizabeth exits the kitchen with Jason smiling as he is cleaning what mess remained. Upon entering the living room she receives two big, messy hugs from the kids. She couldn’t help but giggle when she saw the Fruit Loops in their hair. She then proceeded to scoop each one of them up and took them upstairs to get cleaned up and changed so they could go to the park with Max.
15 minutes later Elizabeth emerged with 2 sparklingly clean children, with Anastasia in a brand new pink sundress and Michael in shorts and a tank. Jason was sitting at the desk when they came down the steps. The three of them seemed to be glowing.
Max knocked on the door before entering, and took each one of the children’s hands and escorted them out the door to the elevator and to the park.
Once the kids were out of sight Jason whisked Elizabeth up to their bedroom, for some one on one. As they entered the bedroom, he placed her on the bed, and he found that for once she didn’t protest about what they were about to do.
He started unbuttoning her shirt, as she smoothed her hands over his back. He slowly opened the buttons one by one, exposing her breasts. Feeling his mouth on her nipple, made her want to go faster. She worked on losing his shirt which was tucked into his pants loose.
As he moved from breast to breast, she couldn’t contain herself any longer, and she let out a moan. Seeing that she wanted to speed up the process, he removed his shirt for her. Making her presence known, she worked on his pants, while he worked on hers.
After he managed to open her belt buckle, he started working on sliding her pants off of her. Needing to have him inside of her, she worked even harder at undoing his pants. Once both had successfully taken off each others pants, they were left with only their underwear.
As he kissed her, his fingers went to her already wet core. He slid his fingers in and out of her.
“Jason, I want you!” Elizabeth screamed.
Sliding off her panties, he went to work on removing his. As he was about to enter her, his cell phone rang. Both of them slumped back on to the bed, in disgust at who ever was calling.
Reluctant to pick it up, Jason answered it in his mean tone. “Morgan, what do you want, this better be God Dam Important.”
Elizabeth was already getting dressed, she knew that work always came before her, why did she think it was going to be different once they married.
Hanging up the phone, he stared at his wife, she didn’t say a word, and now she wouldn’t even look at him. Putting on his clothes, he went over to talk to her, but she turned away. Placing a kiss on her forehead, he muttered his usual apology, and told if she was going any where to take a guard.
Before leaving the room, he mouthed an “I love you,” to her, but he didn’t think she saw it.

Chapter 35
Jason arrived at the meeting, furious. “What in the world is going on? Is there a reason that you called me out of an important event? There better be, because it’s going to take a lot of sucking up, to make up or this.”
“Sorry, boss, but we thought that you would like to know about the attempt on Johnny’s life at the docks.” Francis said.
“What happened?” Jason asked.
“Well, Johnny was standing on the docks, waiting for his girlfriend and a guy came up behind him, and hit him in the back on the head.”
“Well, maybe it was an ex-boyfriend, or a brother or some thing. Was anything taken for Johnny?” Jason asked.
“No, just a few bucks.”
“Well then did you ever consider that it could be just a kid that wanted money, and thought that the easiest way out was to take it from someone that had money?” Jason said.
“We did think that, but with the people that were following you last night, we thought that we would keep you up to date, just in case that you see something odd.” Francis reported.
“Thanks for reporting it, but when we were driving last night, I didn’t see anyone following us, and we drove two hours out of our way. So I don’t think that there is going to be a problem, but just keep and eye on it.” Jason said.

After the incident with Jason, Elizabeth went to pick the kids up at the park, and then headed to what use to be her old home. Elizabeth was surprised to find Megan there.
“Hey, guys what are you doing here?” Megan asked the trio, hugging all three of them.
“We thought that we hang out here? When are you leaving for the trial?” Elizabeth asked her sister.
“Why are you hanging out here, and not at your home, did something happen to you and Jason? Did you have a fight?” Megan asked her sister, as she fixed them some tea.
“First of all why aren’t you at the trial, I thought you were leaving today.” Elizabeth said.
“Don’t change the subject, I’m leaving tomorrow, so it’s a good thing that you came over, so I could see you before I go. So what happened?” Megan asked.
“Oh, just the usual Jason putting business before me, and the kids, how did I ever think that he was going to be with me? I can’t wait until the end of the full year for us, because then were through.”
“You don’t believe that do you. You know that Jason is special in your life, and I want you to be happy, and if that means being with him then so be it. So right know he needs to get his priories settled, but thank God that he didn’t run away after you were rapped. We’ll just have to help him see what is right in front of him.” Megan said, as she embraced her sister.
“I know, but I know he is great with the children, but I’m just not feeling that I mean anything to him. I know that he cares about me, but do you think for once in his life that he could put me first, just once? I don’t know what to do?” Elizabeth said.
“Just stay here for right now, and calm down, and me and the kids will go rent a few movies, and then we’ll go from there.” Megan said picking up her car keys, and yelling for the kids.
“Don’t forget to get us some good movies for when they go to take there N-A-P.” Elizabeth told her sister.
Megan left with both of the children, and Elizabeth settled in on the couch, her cell phone was ringing, and she knew who it was, but right know she didn’t feel like talking to him. All she wanted to do was take a Nap.

Jason kept dialing her number, but there was no answer. He knew that she was mad at him, but he only wanted to protect her. Reaching the Penthouse level, he opened the door only to find that she wasn’t there. Calling Johnny he asked where she was.
“Are you guarding Elizabeth and the children?” Jason asked, Johnny over the phone.
“No, I’m guarding Megan and the children. Elizabeth didn’t feel like going out with them. If I were you boss, I would let her be mad for a few hours, and then go and see her. I don’t know what you did, but the only one that she is talking to is the children, and Megan. I’ll call you if there is anything wrong that you need to worry about.” Johnny said.
“Fine, just make sure that she is okay, I have to do some errands to make this all right.” Jason said, and hung up the phone. Great she wasn’t even talking to Johnny; she must be really upset, because Johnny is really close to her.
Megan returned about an hour later with two movies in her hand. One was Home Alone for the kids and then the other one was A Walk to Remember. Elizabeth had 4 grilled chesses on the table for them along with a bowl of tomato soup. All of them ate there dinner, and then curled up her the couch. Megan and Elizabeth sat on opposite sides on the couch, and then Anastasia jumped on top of her mother, and Michael climbed on Elizabeth’s lap.
In the middle of the movie, both children had fallen asleep, and Megan and Elizabeth carried them up to Anastasia’s bedroom. Both were tucked into Anastasia’s bed, when Megan and Elizabeth descended the stairs.
Elizabeth was feeling a little dizzy, but didn’t say anything to her sister, because she knew the usual rant, that she had to take care of her health, and not worry so much about what else was going on. Megan and Liz sat on the sofa, with their feet curled under them, and turned on the movie that Megan rented.
Liz fell asleep on the sofa and Megan knew that Jason most likely was to come over and talk to her tonight, so she placed a few blankets over her sister, turned off the lights, and headed upstairs.
Jason approached the house that he knew so well. He helped Megan pick it out, when Elizabeth’s world was shattered. Johnny was standing at the doorway, and let Jason in. Jason’s eyes went to the couch, and he saw a figure lying there. It had to be Elizabeth. He turned on the lamp by the side of the coach, to reveal Elizabeth tossing and turning.
Jason starred at the sight before him. He moved her legs to that he could sit down beside her. Elizabeth didn’t even stir. Jason stroked her soft hair, and Elizabeth bent her head down on his shoulder. With Elizabeth snuggled up next to him, Jason relaxed and held her close.
Megan walked down the stairs the next morning with a suitcase in her hand, and her brief case. She saw Jason and Elizabeth snuggled up to each other, and went into the kitchen to leave them a note, of what they are supposes to do, while she is away.
Upon exiting the house she noticed that Johnny was no longer on duty, but Francis was. She greeted him a hello, and off she went.
Jason woke to Megan climbing down the stairs, and pretended to be asleep. It felt so good that Elizabeth was all snuggled next to him, and he didn’t want anyone ruining it.
Elizabeth stirred, and noticed that she was in the arms on someone, and then she realized that it was Jason, and she jumped out of the couch.
“What are you doing here? I don’t want you here. Please leave.” Elizabeth said, trying to sound forceful.
“Let me explain. The reason that …..” Jason said, but was unable to finish the rest.
“No you don’t need to explain, just get away from me.”
Chapter 36
“Jason, please just leave me alone. I’m going up to take a shower. I’m mad at you and right know I can’t even look at you.” Elizabeth said heading up the stairs. She knew that her sister had left for the airport this morning, and that they were in the house alone with the children. Ethan picked up Megan this morning so that they could talk before she went away to the trial.
Jason sank back in the couch, how was he ever going to make this up to her. Wait something just popped into his mind, something that would light up her smile. This plan just has to work, he thought to himself.
After taking a shower, Elizabeth changed into a pair of jeans, and a red halter top. Feeling refreshed from all this going on, she decided to go and check on her niece and nephew. When she got to Anastasia’s room, the bed was empty, and the room a banded.
Walking down the steps Elizabeth saw Jason holding both kids, one on each knee watching cartoons. Jason heard the steps creek, and he knew she was done with her shower, he just hoped that she calmed down a little bit.
“Megan left a note for you on the table. She told you to pack a few of Anastasia’s clothes, and lock up when we leave.” Jason said still having his eyes clued to the TV. It didn’t surprise her that he was trying to let her calm down, but she was still mad at him, for even leaving when he did. How did he think that they could be a family, if he keeps leaving her?
“Did you feed them breakfast?” She asked her husband.
“Yeah, there’s some on the table for you. I made pancakes.”
“Thank you, I’m just going to go up, and pick a few other things for Anastasia…” Elizabeth told them, when she heard a knock at the door. “I’ll get it.” She swung open the door and was greeted with her parents.
“What are you doing here?” Elizabeth asked.
“I thought that I would see what you were up to. I didn’t get to see you, when we came in last time, because you went on your honeymoon. I thought that we could get caught up.” Her mother said.
“You can come in, but were going to head back to our house in a few minutes; I just have to pack up a few of Anastasia things.”
“Hi, Mrs. Webber, Mr. Webber.” Jason said to his in-laws, as he shook their hands. Elizabeth had already gone up the stairs to do her mission.
“To tell you the truth, were going to go on a surprise vacation, but Elizabeth doesn’t know. You’re welcome to join us. I’m going to take the family to Disney world, so that we can have so relaxing time. I want to leave tonight, and I thought that I would drive so she won’t have any idea of where we are going to go. You can follow us in your car, and we can book an extra room at the hotel if you want to join us.” Jason said.
“I think that is a good idea that you guys get away. If you don’t mind us following you, I think that would be a great idea, so that Elizabeth knows that we want to be in her life.” Elizabeth’s mother said.
“What are you guys up to?” Elizabeth asked as she walked down the steps.
“Nothing, we are just going to go home, and get ready for a trip that we are going to take. The boys all ready got the food together. We just have to go have to go home and pack.” Jason said to his wife.
“I didn’t know that we are going away. I need to talk to you, but we will do that at home. Anna, Michael are you ready to go. Go turn off the TV, and grab your things.” Elizabeth said.
“We’ll meet you at your place in an hour, that gives us time to pack, and check out.” Elizabeth mother said.
Jason put the kids in their seats, while Elizabeth put her bags in the back. She was even surprised when he was standing at her door, to usher her in. When he finished ushering her in her seat and walked around to the other side of the car, and started it up. He noticed that Elizabeth was being very quiet. He knew that she was waiting for the right moment to pounce on him.
“May I at least ask where we’re going, and why my parents are going with us, and why all of a sudden do we need to go away?”
“It’s a surprise were we are going, I told your parents that we are going away, and they said that this would be a great way to let you know that they still care for you, and were going away to get away from everything else.” Jason said.
“Is any one else going with us?” she asked.
“It’s us, your parents, Johnny, Max, Emily Nicholas, and my parents. But don’t worry; were driving down, and it’s only going to be me you and the kids in the car, everyone else is following us.” Jason said.
“Why are all of those people going with us? And why now?” She asked.
“Don’t worry about it, just pack for warm weather. Okay, don’t fight me on this. This was suppose to be a surprise, and I don’t want to ruin anything else for you or for the kids.” Jason said as he pulled in to the parking garage.
When they reached the penthouse, the guard helped them in the door. Jason was carrying the kids, one in each arm, and Elizabeth was carrying Anastasia’s stuff. Jason was surprised that Elizabeth didn’t throw a fit with everything going on. He was bound to hear it later. Elizabeth took the kids upstairs, so they could pack their toys that they wanted to take.
Elizabeth left them to their task, while she joined her husband in their bedroom. “Will you at least tell me how many days we are going to be away for?” She asked.
Jason didn’t even stop packing, “about 10 days.” He said.
“Why don’t you finish up packing, and I’ll go pack the kids stuff, so you don’t have to worry about it.” Jason said, putting his packed bag beside the door.
“Thanks.” Elizabeth said with a little smile.
Jason packed 10 pairs of clothes for both of the kids, while they picked out what toys that they wanted to play with while they were away. Grabbing the kids bags, his and Elizabeth’s he headed down stairs and placed them at the bottom of the stairs. Elizabeth was still up stairs packing things for the car ride.
“Sir, the food is in the back seat, along with in the trunk. Do you want me to put these bags in the back?” Johnny asked.
“Everyone, but the one with Pooh bear on it, that’s the kid’s toy bag. Thanks for everything. I just have to grab some videos for them.” Jason said, as he picked out some children’s video along with so educational videos.
A knock at the door had Jason stop what he was doing. He answered it, and realized it that it was his sister Emily, and her fiancé Nicholas. He welcomed them in, and finished what he was doing. He placed the videos in the Pooh bag.
Elizabeth walked down the stairs with Anastasia, and Michael one in each hand. When she reached the bottom stair she set them on the floor, and went over to greet her new sister-in-law, and friend with a smile. She didn’t want word getting out that Jason and her just had a fight. She forced a smile on her face to show them that nothing was wrong.
The knock at the door interrupted their conversation. Johnny opened the door and announced Elizabeth’s parents, along with Jason’s. Elizabeth greeted all of them.
Jason picked up the map on the kitchen table, and ushered everyone out the door. Elizabeth held her carry on bag, along with the children’s carry on bag. Johnny had already packed their car, and all Jason had to do was get the kids in there. That could mean trouble.

Chapter 37
After watching three videos and everyone feed and had a potty break the two little munckins finally fell asleep in their car seats. Elizabeth was quiet during the whole ride with the exception of the time she mimic the words to a song on the radio.
“Are you going to tell us at least where we are going?” She asked.
“It’s a surprise. But everyone will have fun.” Jason said.
“Now, I’m scared.” Elizabeth played jokingly.
“Since the children are asleep in the back and we are miles away from our designation, this is good time for you to excel and let go of your frustrations or whatever is troubling you. It's just me and you. If it's something that I did I apologize and will try to make it up to you. I don't know what it is unless you tell me what's bothering you. I will try my best to not to make you angry again.” Jason said.
“I don’t fell like talking, I suddenly don’t feel right. I feel a little light headed.” Elizabeth said.
“Do you want me to pull over?” Jason asked.
“No, I think that I need to put my head down.” Elizabeth said.
“Here put your head on my lap.” Jason said.
Elizabeth did what he said, and didn’t put a fuss as usual.
“Are you feeling alright?” Jason asked.
“I feel better. I don’t know why, maybe it is my stress level.” Elizabeth said.
“Maybe it was a way of you telling me what I did wrong, to cause your stress level to reach this level, and I think that once we get down there that you need to see a doctor.” Jason said.
“ Ok, but I think I'll be fine, once I have a good night sleep. I was sorry I over react earlier. I just have a lot on my mind. I mean this project is getting on my nerves. I have a paper and an art project due in two weeks and I haven't even started.” Elizabeth said.
“I know there is something else on your mind. After you ran out on me the other night I figured I did something to cause it. I know that you think that you are secondary to everything else in my life but you are wrong. Do you think that I would have taken you away for 10 days and left my cell phone at home so I couldn't be disturbed if Sonny and my job was my primary concern now. Elizabeth you are my wife and not a project and you mean a lot to me.” Jason said.
“Not knowing how to respond to that answer liz switched to something else. Well are you having separation anxiety issues yet?” Elizabeth said kidding around.
Very funny. I want to prove to you that I am here for you and the kids and that there is nothing more important then you and them that can keep me from having fun this week, the only thing that you have to do is promise me that you will have fun, and not worry about anything. When you are ready to talk I am here for you. Can you do that for me?” Jason asked.
“I can’t make any promises, but I will try to have fun. But did you have to invite everyone?” Elizabeth asked.
Jason just laughed. “I wanted it to be a family affair and I thought that they could enjoy their young ones before they get older. Then there would be someone always around so we could have some alone time. But I didn’t know that your parents would want to go with us.” Jason said.
“Heck they want an excuse to get closer to me again and their granddaughter. Boy if Megan finds out that they went with us on vacation I don’t know if she would forgive them.” Elizabeth said.
“It is not your fault that your parents decided to come around and start playing parents, when they should have done that along time ago. And if your sister finds out what is going on, I will talk to her. Technically it was my fault.” Jason said looking down at her.
“Hey you can’t blame yourself for my parents mistake. They failed us. After Megan and I got raped they didn't believe either one of us. Now all of a sudden after all the years of abandonment they want to forget about all that has happened to be involved in my life.” Elizabeth said.
“Hey maybe they realize that your married now, and Megan has their first grandchild, and that they want to relive what they missed through there grandchildren.” Jason said.
“Whatever, what about your parents coming, why did you invite them?” Elizabeth asked.
“I invited them because I thought since we didn’t have much time to get to know each other after my crash, and now that I have some time on my hands, I want to get to know them, and find out what I was really like after the crash, and let them get to know the real me, and what drove me to be like this.” Jason said.
“So that was the real reason that we are having a family vacation right now.” Elizabeth said.
“No, I wanted to get away, and since we have nothing to do right now, and we have both of the children, and since I screwed up with you, and I think that it was a perfect time to get away, and enjoy married life with children that we take some time to do that.” Jason said.
“You know this is the first time that I heard you talk this much.” Elizabeth said.
“Well I think that you bring out a side in me that wants me to communicate with people that I care about.” Jason said.
“Why did you agree to do this project with me?” Elizabeth asked.
“I wanted to do this project for two reasons. One, I couldn’t stand you being married to another person, and this was a way of getting close to you. Two, I was interested in you and wanted to get to know you better. Ever since the Christmas that we spent together I thought about you everyday. I care about you a lot. Besides, I wanted you to pass this class. I knew that Sonny was going to the island, and that I would watch out for Michael while they were gone.” Jason said.
“Oh, so you have always been interested in me huh. You also needed help with Michael, and you thought that I would know what to do, with two rambunctious kids. Wait didn’t at one time you thought that you were Michael’s father and you took care of him when he was a newborn. What makes you think that you could not take care of him?” Elizabeth said teasing.
“Very funny, I took care of him when he was an infant before he could even talk and walk. Now that he can run and hide you think I would want that responsibility alone.” Jason said.
“How hard could it be to take care of a three-year-old. You help out in that department. Having Anastasia, Michael has a playmate. That is twice the trouble then having one child to look after. I don't want my house torn apart and have to run around after two kids with more energy then a cup of coffee from Kelly’s.” Jason said.
“”Are you calling my coffee bad?” Elizabeth asked.
“Now, did I say that your coffee was bad? After you left the place it seems like the good taste left with it.” Jason said.
“Well maybe I need to go back there, and run the place right.” Elizabeth said.
“You don’t need to go back there as long as you feed me, and I don’t have to chase those two trouble makers around the park, then I won’t have to go and drink bad coffee. Maybe we should think about investing in Kelly’s and then you can run the place and I can stop in everyday to have a cup of coffee.” Jason said.
“So now you are ok, with me working at Kelly’s?” Elizabeth asked.
“Only if you own Kelly’s I will be ok with it. I know how they mistreated you there. I don't want anyone treating you like that. Besides, you really don't have to work because I can take good care of you financially.” Jason said.
Jason glanced at the clock and noticed it was approaching midnight. “Do you want to stop for the night, or should we keep going?” Jason asked Elizabeth.
“I guess we could stop for the night, because if those two wake up grumpy tomorrow, because of sleep deprivation I will blame you. Then I will have to ride in Emily’s car, and let you ride with the two trouble makers as you call them.
Jason pulled over to the side of the road to tell everyone what was going on. With everyone in on the game plan they stopped at the next hotel. They settled into their rooms, and planned to hit the road at 8:00 in the morning.
Elizabeth went into the bathroom to put on her nighties and get ready for bed when she started to feel a little nauseated. Before she could reach the toilet she started to vomit. She rushed over to the toilet and kneeled down on her knees to finish the job. Outside of the room Jason heard noises. Without thinking he barged into the bathroom to see what was going on without knocking.
He stooped down by Liz side and pulled her hair back while she threw up. He got a wash tile and wiped her face once her vomit subsided. He asked her if everything was ok. " I am sure it is nothing. It must have been something I ate earlier."
As soon as we arrive our destination I am going to peruse the telephone book and find a nearby Doctor. You haven't been feeling well since we left home a few days ago. I will not take no for an answer. It's settle." Liz didn't argue. Jason dropped his head and pressed his lips against her forehead and said let's get some sleep because we have a long day ahead of us tomorrow.
The next morning, after the children were fed and placed into their car seats, and everyone else in their cars they headed to their destination.
“So where are we going?” Elizabeth asked.
“I guess since we are far way, and I know that you aren’t going to run away, we are going to Disney World.” Jason said.
“Jason I can’t believe you did that………….”
